Terrible management
I've ordered from this restaurant before, the food is decent however the customer service is absolutely terrible. I placed an order through Uber eats as I have done several times over the last 12 months. There is no option to choose a combo spicy basil so I usually order the chicken option and then add in the notes that I want the combo. Just to be sure, I call in directly after the order has been placed. Three times in the last 12 months I have called in and the person that has answered the phone has said each time that it is fine to get the combo and that there is no additional upcharge. Each and every time I have received the combo with no issue. I placed the order on Uber eats as usual and then got a notification that someone at the restaurant had added an upcharge of more than $6. I immediately called in and spoke with somebody who wasn't very helpful and instead gave me a manager. This manager, a woman, was extremely unprofessional, she wouldn't let me talk and kept interrupting me stating that there was an upcharge for a combination based on their "new" pricing. When I let her know that I needed to talk, and try to explain that no employee had ever charged me an upcharge, she threatened to just go ahead and cancel my order. Then instead of hearing me out, she said I was lying several times and said I'm canceling the order and hung up the phone on me. Needless to say I was extremely upset after a long day and being hungry, so I drove to the cafe. I was told that that manager that I spoke with on the phone was not around so I asked for another manager. The gentleman that finally came to the front was at least civil, but gave me the same attitude barely listening to what I had to say and responding with nothing but excuses when I showed him my past receipts and phone records from ordering. In the midst of our conversation the woman manager, who supposedly wasn't there stormed up and started berating me and raising her voice to me telling me that she didn't want to do my order that she had canceled it and making a scene in front of the whole small restaurant. The gentlemen tried to calm her down but she kept escalating and getting more worked up until finally he guided her away into the kitchen area. I asked him what the resolution would be and he offered nothing but to make my order without any kind of discount at all, Even though I explained that my Uber eats order was much less with their promotion. The woman manager kept yelling from in the kitchen about refusing to make my order including cursing loud enough for other customers to hear. At this point I was tired of the terrible lack of customer service and excuses so I left the restaurant.
I'm not sure why, but they seem very content with losing customers Even though their restaurant and employees were in error. I definitely will never return.
To top it off now the owner filed a complaint with Uber eats against me saying that I was threatening and intimidating which is completely false. Stay away from this business
