Misleading Discount Offer
I came across Patio Living via a Google search seeking to buy a cover for a large cylinder of patio gas connected to our BBQ. £50.00 off your first purchase was the headline message. The RRP was £200.00, expensive however I was prepared to pay £150.00 for a high end product. Sadly, this headline discount never materialised so I called several times, left messages. However, no response so I eventually emailed flagging the misleading headline discount issue. I received a reply saying that the £50.00 discount only applied to purchases of £500.00 or more. I was given a discount of 10% so paid in the end £180.00. Their response also said that they had raised the issue with their website team so that they could correct it. So, in summary, fantastic product, we love it. However, very misleading web discount offer message. And disappointed not be given a larger discount for flagging the issue which they have now put right, saving them, doubtless, from a lot more complaints.
