I recently completed a beginner’s white water kayaking course with Paddle365 and had an excellent experience from start to finish.

Right from day one, Joe created a relaxed and supportive atmosphere that made it easy to get comfortable on the water. The session was well structured and focused on the fundamentals, helping us build confidence while learning essential techniques at a steady, manageable pace. Joe’s coaching style was clear, patient, and encouraging, which made a big difference as a complete beginner.

As the course progressed, each day introduced new challenges in a really natural way. Nothing ever felt rushed or overwhelming, just the right level of progression to keep building skills while still enjoying the experience. Joe was always on hand with helpful feedback and reassurance, which made it easy to push a little further each time.

The final day really highlighted how much we’d improved. Returning to water that had initially felt quite intimidating, it was great to feel more in control, more confident, and able to actually enjoy the flow rather than just focus on getting through it.

Overall, it was a fantastic introduction to white water kayaking. A brilliant balance of learning, confidence-building, and fun. I’d highly recommend Paddle365
and Joe, to anyone looking to get started in a safe, supportive, and enjoyable environment.

The first day was well paced and very much within everyone’s limits, focusing on core techniques, building confidence, and creating a supportive learning environment. The coaching style was clear, patient, and encouraging, which made it easy to settle in and start progressing straight away.

Over the following days, the challenges gradually increased, but everything was introduced at the right level. Each step pushed us just enough to develop new skills without ever feeling out of our depth.

What really stood out was the final day. We returned to the same section we paddled on day one, and it was amazing to realise how far we’d come. What had felt challenging at the start now felt easy, controlled, and most importantly,great fun.
A brilliant course that builds skills, confidence, and enjoyment in equal measure. I’d highly recommend Paddle365 to anyone looking to improve their white water kayaking in a safe, supportive, and progressive environment. Shout out to Jamie, Joe and Steffi.

I had a great 4 days paddling in Northern England with Jamie and Joe from Paddle365. Brilliant experience learning to paddle plenty of drops on the Kent, Leven and Tees. The course description was accurate and most important I really enjoyed the paddling!

Had two great days doing my white water safety course with Jamie, he's very professional but also made the course fun and very enjoyable.I learnt so much over the two days and would definitely recommend Paddle365

I booked onto the 5 day intensive intermediates course. It really helped me push the boundaries of my paddling but in a safe and supported environment. I picked up some essential skills and put to bed some bad habits I had been repeating. Hats off to Jamie and Joe, excellent coaches, even better people.

I did 2 consecutive courses with Jamie and Joe - white water improver grade 2-3, and white water safety and rescue. Both courses were excellent. I left with more knowledge, more belief in my abilities and have had excellent tuition and encouragement from both coaches. I would highly recommend their courses.

Jamie wants to make every day the best day ever and he succeeds. He is attentive to every people on the course, can adapt to make sure everyone makes progress and everyone has exactly what they need. Paddle 365 is my go to for getting quality support and skills improvement. So far I've done my whitewater safety, advanced whitewater safety and whitewater leader training and haven't ever bothered to look elsewhere!

I spent 5 days with Jamie and his team up in Scotland doing an advanced white water safety course and it was incredible, I've learnt so much on and off the water, I definitely feel more confident as a paddler and more than confident in my bankside skills aswell now all thanks to paddle 365...I have a completely different mind set when it comes to running rivers now and that's down to Jamie and his amazing team. I highly recommend paddle 365

I recently attended the “Advanced Safety & Sending” course with a group of friends, with the aim of furthering our understanding of safety and rescue techniques while developing our ability to paddle safely as an independent group. It’s fair to say the course completely exceeded expectations, and turned out to be enormous fun considering the serious subject matter. I'll definitely be back for more Paddle365 offerings in future.

I can’t believe how much my skills and confidence improved in such a short period of time! I also have lots to go away and work on. I would definitely book with Paddle365 again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I've been on multiple courses & adventures run by paddle 365 and all of them have been excellent. Jamie and his team run a very person-centric experience to ensure that clients get what they want from the sessions and always feel supported and in control.

I will continue to use paddle 365 and highly recommend then to others.

I have had coaching from both Joe and Jamie, I would absolutely have no hesitation in recommending either of them, they meet clients at their level and are incredibly patient and supportive of an individual paddling journey

I spent a few days paddling with Paddle 365 (Joe and Joe!) last week and learnt so much. Both Joe's were patient and encouraging as I regained my confidence on the water. They took time to help me 'read' the water, reminded me of essential skills, added new ones and gave me lots of opportunity to practice. It was great spending time on the Dee at Llangollen and also then consolidate skills on the weir in Chester. Thank you so much guys.

We have just returned from an incredible kayaking experience in North Wales with Paddle 365.

Right from the initial point of contact the experience was positive and constructive. Jamie responded to my request immediately and was exceptionally accommodating, going out of his way to set up coaching sessions for myself and my husband according to our very limited flexibility with dates and times.

Our first session with Gareth was wonderful in terms of building our confidence and making us feel relaxed and unpressured. Gareth provided a lot of explanation, was very patient and continually checked in to see how we were feeling. It was a great start for a couple of anxious beginners.

Our remaining 2 days just got progressively better, this time with Joe. Joe's quiet confidence was infectious and his expertise and love for the sport was very evident. We loved Joe’s teaching style which was a wonderful balance of constructive instruction, clear demonstration and patient waiting as we discovered for ourselves. By the end of our time there we were so filled with enthusiasm that we cannot wait to learn more. We will most definitely return to Paddle 365 for more of their expert and enthusiastic instruction!

2nd course I have done with Padle365 and found the experience wonderful on both occasions.

The quality and level of instruction was great and it always felt that the course was tailored to the needs of the clients.

I'll be back again sometime in the future and would recommend to anyone.

As a new (ish) paddler on white water I've been very impressed by these guys so much so that I booked another course 2 weeks after my first one. Joe is a fantastic coach and a credit to the sport. I'll definately be back as I progress.

Both coaches I met Jamie & Joe are absolutely amazing, their passion for the sport shines through more than anything. Some great coaching provided & most important a really safe environment created allowing you to push yourself.
I particularly like the fact that once a course is complete you still have a development plan & group to allow yourself to continue to grow.

Jamie, Joe and indeed all the coaches at paddle 365 are exceptional.
They offer supportive, modern coaching in a welcoming, friendly and safe environment. Willing to give you an encouraging nudge to push your limits when you need it, but never a shove! Everything you try is very much under your own control. Courses are tailored to your ability. The coaches enthusiasm for WW is infectious.
The mentorship group and ongoing support available after a course are also highlights.

Jamie inspires confidence. His coaching style is relaxed and fun and he made it so easy for me to improve. He is safe knowledgeable and above all professional, I can highly reccomend
