Insoles supplied were 2 right feet
Ordered some Padders boots for my mum who has problem feet & had a foot op in July & still recovering. The boots are fantastic. They have a removeable insole which takes them from a EE fitting to a EEE fitting so you can choose best fit for you. However the boots arrived with 2 right foot insoles in them. Rang Pavers customer services where I purchased them from & spoke to a very nice lady who said that they couldn’t do anything & I would have to send them back & order another pair. Unsatisfactory, not my mistake so why should I have to do that and pay another shipping fee also. I feel that Pavers should have offered to contact Padders & asked them to send a set of insoles out. Doesnt say a lot for Padders quality control processes. Boots should have been checked. Not my mistake, not my problem yet I am inconvenienced.

Absolutely delighted with these ankle boots. I have been wearing Padders Journey ankle boots for years now, I do have problems buying footwear for an extra wide foot and narrow ankles, so I have stuck to what I know is going to fit me. The last pair I just said goodbye to I have worn them for over 6 years Autumn, winter and spring, so I just ordered some more and they arrived today. They are the same as previous ones, waterproof, very comfy soft good quality leather, well made good looking boots. I ordered and they arrived within days. I did have problems with signing in on the Padders site initially but then contacted Padders by email and their customer services were very helpful.
Reeeally pleased with how everything went from start to finish. And I am sat here smiling at my lovely boots, and glad I could still get them.
Thankyou Padders people. Happy customer here, so happy that I felt the need to come on here 😁

Awful within 10 minutes of wearing the taupe men's shoes the soles completely disintegrated. Are these shoes for corpses so the dissolve in the coffin. Somebody said they could be!!!
After wearingn these for about six…
After wearingn these for about six times the sloes became detached from the upper while I was out and had to buy new shoes to get home. Seem to be unable to contact Padders, or they don't want to respond
Bought a pair of smart
Bought a pair of smart, black office shoes by Padders about 8-9 years ago with velcro fastnings. I have worn them most days since then, and the reason I came here was to find out where I can get another pair, as the heels of my present ones are quite worn, and I don't think repairs are ever as good as the original. They are the best shoes I have ever had - though I'm a cheap-skate, so my Padders are also the most expensive I ever bought (about £65 if memory serves)
Avoid Padders Products
My experience is exactly the same as that from Thomas Francis. After I discovered the disintegration of the soles I immediately sent a polite email to Padders, describing what had happened and attaching two photos of the shoes. This was totally ignored so after 3 or 4 weeks I sent them another email requesting at least the courtesy of a reply. After a further 2 weeks - still nothing from Padders, so after reading all the other complaints on Trust Pilot about Padders, unless belatedly something does come from them I will definitely never buy any of their products again and would strongly advise anyone else to steer clear of Padders and their products.
Looked good but soles disintegrated.
Had a pair of brown mens casual laceup shoes - nicely designed, comfortable and looked good quality. Had them in the wardrobe forgotten about for a few years - wore them again today and both soles disintegrated - soft rubber had perished. Good shoes but don't keep them too long!
BOTH SOLES COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED…
BOTH SOLES COMPLETELY DISINTEGRATED AFTER BEING WORN A HANDFUL OF TIMES
Just gone for a ten minute stroll and thought I'd wear my brown suede Padders for a change (worn them only a handful of times previously). I start to feel a little uncomfortable while walking and realise the rubber heal on both sides are completely disintegrating as I'm walking!!!
I'm so angry.
Pros and Cons
Purchased two pairs from a retailer several years ago.
Comfortable and good looking but unlike competitors the soles disintegrate not due to wear after time, Disappointing.
Uncontactable
Tried to buy shoes online. Checkout system doesn't confirm order after payment. Tried 3 times to phone, no answer. Sent email, no response . Contact form wont allow message completion. If they have taken my money and the shoes dont appear l will make a formal report to Trading Standards.
Shocked
Purchased a pair of Carmen slippers normal size huge so went down a size, very uncomfortable and pulled socks down, only worn a few times and back seam started to come undone, returned to small shop and now have a credit note! Cannot recommend at all and most disappointed that a £30 pair of slippers were so poor.
I am reluctant to give any stars at all !
Abysmal is the word ! Total lack of response to a major complaint I registered against them. Supposed to reply in 48 hours - still waiting a week later !
I can well understand the high percentage of BAD reports on Trustpilot. Based on them, I’m surprised that Padders are still in business. For how much longer, I wonder !
Awful
Really bad service. Ordered some slippers that didn’t arrive after 3weeks. There was no communication or updates. Got a refund in the end and got the same ones off Amazon the day after!
Shoes are fine customer service is ABYSMAL
Shoes are fine but customer service is abysmal they don't answer phone calls or emails. I am waiting for a pair of shoes ordered a month ago no explanation for the delay and no response to emails requesting an update. I shall not be ordering again
Bought a pair of Padders "EARTH" Dark…
Bought a pair of Padders "EARTH" Dark Brown Shoes, tried them on in the house for about 20 mins and noticed that the leather texture was different in each shoe. One was showing normal slight creasing as you expect, the other showed a very fine creasing, totally different. It made them look very odd. I contacted Padders but they were not interested, said it was normal! I have never seen this before in 60 years of buying and wearing leather shoes!
I purchased a pair of men's Padders…
I purchased a pair of men's Padders slippers with Velcro fastening recently. Everything sticks to the suede effect material, it will not brush off, so have to resort to using sticky tape to remove it. Only fit for the bin !!!!
Great service, would use again
Ordered several pairs of shoes and slippers during the pandemic for my elderly Auntie to try as she couldn't get any wide enough or comfortable enough at places like supermarkets. She kept a couple and the rest were returned.
Website was easy to navigate, with a lot of choice and the checkout process was simple and straightforward. Delivery was within the time stated, although the packaging wasn't the best as the plastic had ripped on one order, luckily Royal Mail put them in a thicker bag so none were lost.
Returns process was easy via the Post Office, and money was credited back to account within a few days.
I did have an issue of an incorrect colour sent out instead of the one ordered, I was concerned this would be a problem returning as the correct colour was listed on the packing note, just seems the wrong colour had been picked, but they refunded me no problem.
Would definitely order via their website again.
Union Jack style logo on Chinese made slippers
Once again this is a review where I thought I was being patriotic by buying British. My Moshulu slippers, which after over 20 years' service were looking the worse for wear, were replaced by a pair of Padders which were about £34.99. The visible label inside said, "Padders feelgoodfeet" and by the side was what resembled a pawprint logo with Union Flag colours. I naively assumed the slippers were made in the UK. Approximately one year on the sole on the right slipper has worn right down. Then I discovered a tiny label further down inside the inner edge of the slipper which says, "Made in China". For my next pair of slippers I will be telephoning the manufacturer first to enquire where they are actually made. I am fed up with Chinese rubbish goods.
Poor sizing
I bought a very attaractive pair of boots for walking. I normally wear size 6 or 7 but I wanted to wear thick socks with them so ordered size 8. They were so small even with thin nylon tights I had to screw my toes up to put my foot in. The size written on the bottom was 41 and 8/ 41 on the box . You cannot buy shoes from a company that do not have correct sizing. For the privlege of having them posted to me and me having to post them back cost me nearly £8 in postage deductions
