FedEx demand
Same issue as posted by others. Paid Package Hopper$48. Received shipping label (FedEx). Dropped package at nearest FedEx location. Package was accepted without question. Packaged delivered without problems. But now 2 weeks later I have received a bill for $304 from FedEx. Surely FedEx should be billing PackageHopper.
PackageHopper followed up stating there was a problem that has been resolved. So no additional money is due to FedEx

Total fraud
Total fraud. When you get the bill from FedEx, tell them it was fraud, you already paid and refuse to pay anything additional. -CTH
Ps. The reply from them is a lie too. They opened an unauthorized FedEx account in my name. Don't trust these fools.

SCAM!!!
SCAM!!!
I wonder why they are still able to do business online?
Paid over $60 to send a package to Caribbean but received over $300 bill from FedEx.
I wonder how much money they were able to get from their customer and they did not even pay it to the Shipping company.
Why no government authority looking into this?

Worked out fine.
Great price.
Unfortunately, my first use of their service was when they were experiencing technical difficulties. A week after my first shipment I received a $300 invoice from FedEx on top of what I paid PackageHopper.
PackageHopper made efforts to correct the issue, responded to me promptly, and they were communicative on social media about their progress. I confirmed with FedEx that they had rebilled the $300 invoice to the proper third party.

FedEx quoted $300 to ship a shoebox to Norway. USPS quoted $60. PackageHopper was $30 -- and it arrived!

My experience financially with this…
My experience financially with this company was horrible. I paid 118.00 for a package that only cost 30.00. This company paid FedEx 30.42 and kept the remaining balance of 118. They claim they do not give refunds. Very sad. I tried reaching them and you cannot talk with anyone. I've sent several emails and no response.
I was skeptical, and then OVERJOYED
I read reviews here, and understandably, I was skeptical. 50% of the reviews were bad 50% were good. The good reviews were shorter; the negative reviews were more detailed. USPS is not delivering mail from USA TO NZ. My daughter is a marathon open-water swimmer and needed Carbopro and some swim goggles that she can’t get there. I looked at shipping rates with DHL, UPS, and FedEx on their sites. My package would cost between $200-260?!? Package hopper was $65?!?! I threw the dice, followed the instructions, took my package to a FedEx store. They gave me a pouch, asked if I needed a receipt, (said yes), and crossed my fingers. I shipped it 3-5 business days. Dropped it on a Thursday, it was at my daughter’s on the following Wednesday! Exactly as indicated (5 business days). I’m sending a second package today. Will let you all know

Jury Still Out.
Absolutely awesome, two packages to France got there three times faster than the post office and at a major league discount. They got my business!!
UPDATE. My last box was double billed for no reason. Tried contacting the company but no results. UPDATE….. their website got hacked. I did get a note that they’re working on it and the site is down. So I will give them the benefit of the doubt.
False advertising. Please be aware, your package will be demoted by going through with this company
Please do not use this service under any circumstances! By shipping with their label, your package will be demoted in the delivery queue (either neglected or postponed) because FedEx can see you used a third party, rather than purchasing the services directly through them. You are much better off sending packages via USPS; it's slightly more expensive, but you get security, information, accurate tracking, and -- your package is handled with the same care and expediency as all other packages. That is, your package is "equal" in the eyes of the carrier, and based strictly off of the chronology of when you sent the package to begin with.
My package was posted 12/15/2021 from California, US to North Ireland with an ETA of 12/22/2021 postponed to 12/23/2021 (which is correctly within their advertised 3-5 business days); after flying through customs without any issues, it was lost for three weeks... and then finally delivered on 01/13/2022 -- nearly one month after my posting. Packages that went through FedEx directly, or even through USPS, did NOT experience any such delays. An overnighted shipment to Moscow via express was there the very next day. COVID-19 is not to blame, because clearly many other packages are able to arrive during the advertised timeframe, during the exact same winter season :) Please refer to the first paragraph for the true reason for the delay.
The only front-facing customer representative who appears to work for PackageHopper is a person named "Cheeny", who does not actually read your emails (unsure if it's just not wanting to do an annoying job of having to be a customer rep, or if it's actually incompetence?) and will regurgitate pre-written assurances from a script, even if said responses do not match as an appropriate reply from what you tried to explain / the context of the situation. This is typical of all customer service that is outsourced, and not in-house.
The company does not even do the basic minimum investigation of entering in your tracking number into the native carrier's website. While Cheeny was still promising the delivery would be "expedited" today, I was able to already see the package was delivered -- simply from the public FedEx website available to everyone, freely. It makes me very curious why a company would promote itself as having an inside track to the carrier (implying their longterm relationship with major carriers gives them an advantage both in prices AND information) yet... the information they get is far less accurate than the customer themselves directly contacting the host carrier...?? Again, unsure if it's incompetence, or just laziness.
When I contacted Cheeny for a refund via chat, they disconnected on me 🤣 Guess I hit a nerve :) At this point I won't even complain about rude service; after all, Cheeny never gave indication they cared, so my expectations were laid right away. Why would they? It's not their problem! It's not their package that got lost, banged up, torn through, and delayed by about a month! Who cares, right?
Please save yourself trouble and do not go through this third party shipping company. It was my very first experience with them and I deeply regretted my decision. At least I have emerged a bit more knowledgeable about how these things work, and I hope to warn others.
Cheap service but scam shipping
This is my first and will be the last time that I use PackageHopper. They are a scamming shipping company. They offer really cheap international postage rates to get you to ship with them, and you do legitimately ship with renowned and established couriers like FedEx and UPS, but the company sends your recipient emails and letters telling them to pay expensive customs and import taxes - which are completely false and incorrect. I sent two packages worth very little value to my family in the UK and Colombia, and both recipients were spammed with emails telling them to pay large amounts of money to receive their packages. Note - they still received their packages before they did anything and they did not pay the fees and nothing happened. Other customers have also reported the same thing happening. Do NOT use this service.
I gave 2 stars because at least the packages arrived to the recipients undamaged.

I shipped a package to my nephew in UK…
I shipped a package to my nephew in UK through packageHopper. Chose Fedex priority service. This was a gift but they provided me with a wrong form as commercial and that I was exporting the items. Now my package is stuck in customs and they want their duties and taxes. I got in touch with packagehopper several times yesterday and their customer service is the poorest I had come across. I was able to chat with 3 different people and they showed no interest in my issue and took no responsibility for sending me a wrong form but point blank told me that once its shipped its my responsibility. I wish I had not used this service and gone to USPS at least my package was going to make it there without all this hassle. They definitely look like a scam to me now otherwise the shipping costs would not have been this inexpensive.

Paid on 17 November to ship a package…
Paid on 17 November to ship a package from US to New Zealand using their 3-5 business day option. Recipient received a text the same day showing planned delivery for 29 November - longer than the 3-5 days expected, but I didn't argue as I just wanted it there before Christmas. By 6th December it had still not arrived so I went on chat with PackageHopper and was told by the agent that they would follow up with Fedex to find out what the delay is and I would be emailed within 48 hours by PackagHopper. Waited 4 business days and no email so went back on line today (December 11) to follow up again. Agent said they haven't got any more information from Fedex and then started telling me the 3-5 business days is 'only an estimate and they can't control what the carrier does. So basically they take the money for a 3-5 day shipping speed but then take zero responsibility for any delays or anything that happens after that. I have been patient and waited for 17 business days for my 3-5 day delivery. When I asked the agent where on their website it states these are only 'estimated shipping speeds' he said 'it doesn't - since they use lots of different carriers'. Sorry, but that is not acceptable. Planning a charge back on my credit card now, having asked politely for a refund so that I can re-purchase the gift and send it via another carrier in the hopes of getting it there for Christmas. The overall lack of care and concern from both agents has been crazy - worst customer service in a long time from any company and I would definitely not use again.
**Edit: Several hours after posting this review I received an email from PackageHopper, the agent I was on chat with this morning, simply saying he'd had an update from Fedex which stated they are looking into it but don't have any other information yet. This is interesting, since as soon as I ended my chat with PackageHopper this morning, I decided to contact Fedex myself and spoke to someone who was able to explain both the reason for the delay and give me an updated expected delivery date, all within 5 minutes - something that it appears PackageHopper is unable to do. **Edit on December 14, 2021: My package was finally delivered almost 4 weeks after posting (19 business days), despite their website quoting 3-5 business days for my destination. Strangely, I keep getting 'updates' from PackageHopper by email, today's being that the package was delivered (I got that information 24 hours ago from Fedex directly).

Quick and easy shipping overseas
This is the first time I've used package hopper and I was extremely pleased. My package made it from the US to New Zealand in less than a week. The process was easy and I will definitely use them again. The USPS has quit sending packages to New Zealand right now, and was more expensive. (Just an FYI - the delivery speed does depend on customs, but in this case, they released it very quickly)
