Pachakuti is a family-run UK business dedicated to bringing exceptional ceremonial cacao from Ecuador to customers who value quality, authenticity and sustainability. We work directly with trusted growers who cultivate heirloom Arriba Nacional cacao using the Indigenous Chakra Amazonica agroforestry system, a traditional method that protects biodiversity while producing some of the world's finest cacao. Our products are carefully crafted in small batches to preserve their natural flavour, aroma and nutritional qualities. Our mission goes beyond creating exceptional cacao. We believe in transparent sourcing, fair partnerships and supporting the communities who have cared for these ancient cacao traditions for generations. Every purchase helps us continue investing in ethical trade, rainforest-friendly farming and long-term relationships with our producers. Alongside our ceremonial cacao, we offer a growing range of natural products from Ecuador, including guayusa tea, honey, coffee and other sustainably sourced goods that reflect the country's remarkable biodiversity. We're committed to providing excellent customer service, fast dispatch and a personal experience from the moment you place an order. Whether you're enjoying cacao as part of your daily wellbeing routine, meditation, creativity or simply for its rich taste, we hope every cup connects you with the people, culture and forests that make Pachakuti possible. Thank you for supporting our journey.

I've been working with Pachakuti Cacao…

I've been working with Pachakuti Cacao for just over a year now, although I've been serving ceremonial cacao as part of my work as a plant medicine woman and facilitator for more than a decade.

I've worked with a number of beautiful cacaos over the years, and each one has its own unique character. For me, Pachakuti has a very special energy. I often describe it as the "inner child" cacao because there's something incredibly pure, gentle and playful about it. It has a wonderfully creamy, chocolatey flavour that makes it approachable for people who are new to ceremonial cacao, while still holding a beautiful depth for those with an established practice.

What I love most is how it feels. It has a gentle, uplifting quality that seems to soften people open without being overwhelming. At the same time, it's deeply grounding, creating a sense of safety that allows people to connect with themselves in a really authentic way. It manages to be both light and rooted, which isn't something I've found with every cacao I've worked with.

The quality has always been consistent, the customer service has been excellent, and it's become one of my trusted ceremonial cacaos. In fact, I'm taking Pachakuti with me to Bali for my retreat next year, where every participant will receive a bag as part of their welcome gift because I genuinely believe in sharing products that I personally use and trust.

Thank you, Steve and the team, for making such a beautiful cacao available. I look forward to many more years of working with it.

Fabulous Customer Service and products.
I love the 1kg Pachakuti for value and most delicious cacao. It was delivered the same week. I have recommended to friends. Will definitely be trying more of their goodies too!

I love the raw cacao products from Pachakuti

I love the ceremonial cacao products from Pachakuti, and started buying them after I went to Mind Body Spirit in Birmingham in 2025.

So far, I’ve bought the Cacao in blocks, the unroasted beans and roasted them ourselves and gone the whole hog roasting and shelling etc ourselves, and I’ve also bought the cacao drops.

All of the products are fab, taste really good and even the packaging is has been evolving into something truly unique.

I’d definitely recommend and we will keep buying in future.
