My 92 year old step dad foolishly ordered a glass "Globe Decanter" from this outfit, but it arrived completely smashed and broken"
The company told him to return it for a full refund and they acknowledged receipt of the return. Despite several phone calls over the last few months, he was repeatedly fobbed off with "its still being looked at" & "I need to refer this to my manager". Every excuse under the sun.
Avoid like the plague! Always beware of PO No's.

This little catalogue is great – full of bits you didn’t know you wanted until you saw them. Everything I’ve bought has been decent and arrived quick. Really like it.

Still sending catalogues to my late father almost 8 months after he died.

Looking at the awful reviews on here, not holding out much hope they will ever stop!

Very disappointed ordered 3 items on 4th November so far only 1 received,
Today 27th November I received a new
catalogue the items I ordered are for sale
Although they obviously don’t have stock!!
I’ve rung twice and emailed but they don’t get back to you.
I have now asked to cancel order and have a refund.
I wish I had read the reviews before I placed the order.

Received a letter asking for me to give them a call, as my account details were wrong; called them, and they had no information on my order...left it at that.

Would not let me reject Cookies at the initial stage of ordering. All Cookies only. When I got through to order, I was told I had to have a customer number although there was nothing on their (unsolicited) catalogue. Finally, the Customer Service Rep couldn't understand my surname even when I spelled it out. Not worth the hassle

Oh dear... received unsolicited catalogue and they will not explain how they got my personal data to me... have requested a call from a senior member of staff on this matter so we will see if this is resolved.

I aborted an order when Owl Barn attempted to charge an excessive sum for 'Highlands and Islands Delivery', presumably based on my postcode which starts PA. I live in Renfrewshire, in the Scottish Lowlands, 10 minutes drive from the M8. There are a few PA postcode areas that are quite remote islands, but these are easily distinguished.

I will say that in the past I have bought from them before and whilst delivery was a bit slow, there were no issues. At the beginning of this month I ordered 3 items; 1 jumper was sent in the wrong design AND size (XL instead of S) and the t-shirt was sent as a child small instead of the adult small. After a number of complaints (phone and email), I am still to get a response and will soon be talking to my bank about a chargeback. Shocking customer service. Owl Barn, if you read this, remove me from your mailing list straight away as I will not be making the mistake of buying from you ever again.
