Order Unilaterally Canceled Without Explanation

I ordered a VPS starter with a 77% discount on Oct 27, 2024, for 12 months (11.59 USD). Yesterday, I just got an email that my order was canceled. I was using my debit card when ordering it. Now OVH took 11.59 USD away but I didn't get any refund. If you don't like the discount, please don't put it on the front page. Smh.

OVH Asia SCAM me

OVH Asia take my money and never refunded. Aslo i cant login my account, reset password or register again use my email.
I know OVH from vpsbenchmarks, because i see good review and OVH Asia offer VPS starter only for US$ 0,97 month for first year.
I try to buy it for testing and they cancelled without reasonable reason. I try to open ticket, they said i'm using other credit card or use VPN tu fake my location.
My accound data registered on OVH asia and my credit card data is same, also i'm in Indonesia. I buy VPS Singapore because i see i can buy on their website and i'm not using any VPN. Lol
They said my money will refund after 9 to 14 day.
I'm transaction on 10 june 2024 with US$11.59. But now on 7 july 2024, my money never back.
Hello OVH Asia why my account cant login and my money not return until now to my bank account. STOP scam little people like me.

I've had positive interactions with the…

I've had positive interactions with the Sales because we share a Filipino background. All issues have been addressed smoothly, and I've encountered no difficulties in expressing my technical concerns. Their response time is impressively quick.

Regular User over the last 1 year

I have been using OVHCloud over the last one year - I was admitted into the Startup Program last year which provides for $10000 credit for usage of OVH services (Public cloud ) - This does not cover the Dedicated servers, which was paid by myself - Overall, I have been very happy with OVHCloud and definitely recommend ( The OVHCloud Startup Program itself - I got a response after application in less than 24 hours, OVH Services itself - See Below and the program manager in India - Satyam Santosh who has proactively managed the journey over the last year )

I have been using the following services
- Public cloud - I used Managed Kubernetes mainly. I had my PAAS product hosted in managed cloud for close to a year and did not face any down-time, performance or connectivity issues ). Master node is not charged and I had a 10 node cluster with OVH Managed storage and Load Balancer.

Dedicated Server - I have recently migrated from Kubernetes to Dedicated Server with Failover additional public IP ( where I create and manage my own Kubernetes distribution ). Again, the service is very stable. However the key differentiator is the price of bare metal servers which seems extremely good compared to the competitors. I do not think any of the cloud providers come close to the price quoted by OVH (I researched a bit among providers who offer capability of having dedicated servers at multiple locations across the globe)

Docker Registry - All the docker containers for my product have been hosted in the docker registry - Again no downtimes and no performance issues seen.

Overall service response is also good - I have raised about 10 tickets so far and all of those have been addressed within a day (Mostly in a few hours). And I had to ask for a technical clarification in their Discord channel which was responded to quickly (By someone in the engineering teams itself I think)

The only areas of improvement I see is that
The admin console seems to be a work in progress - Example:- The UI seems to take a bit of time to load as you navigate between screens, There are some functionality gaps (Load Balancer cannot be created from the console ).
The documentation seems to be spread over multiple "blog" like posts and examples. Don't think I have seen a consolidated one , Like "Managed Kubernetes Usage guide"

Best Scalable-Cloud for Tech Startups 🎯

We have been using OVH Cloud for two years, for their public cloud, mainly the IOPS instances and High Performance Object Storage. Their HP Object Storage comes with amazing speed of up to 400mbps per transfer. We also use the IOPS Instances for excessive disk and CPU performance and it never disappoints with dedicated 2gbps down/up link. Applying orchestration is also not difficult.

Another element is the affordability and transparent pricing. They don't have any hidden charges, out bandwidth is unmetered with pre-defined network port speed and gives us a comfort of spinning instances on-demand hourly pricing, with incentive to save more with monthly commit.

They have also supported us with their special support for startups, where they offer cloud training, mentoring sessions and cloud grants to startup teams. Our experience was gratifying before we turned into enterprise customer. Their startup managers are also very responsive and were there to help us with entrepreneurship assistance.

Highly recommended for all sorts of cloud customers!

Sales and API queries resolved

We contacted OVH support as we had a few sales and technical queries regarding their APIs. Our Account manager Dinesh helped resolve all of our queries. He also contacted one of their API specialist Shiv and arranged a meeting for the same and made sure all of the queries were resolved. We need more personnel like Dinesh, who takes pride in his work!

Support Ticket resolved in a snap!

In the year-end vacation there was some delays in response on a ticket. But as soon as I contacted Daphne (my account manager) it was resolved in a snap.

Been with OVH for ages, and their servers are always on point and budget-friendly. Shoutout to Jennifer, my go-to Account Manager - she's back, and as awesome as ever with quick answers to all my queries.

Just got the heads up on a slick promo from OVH, perfect timing since I'm eyeing additional servers. All in all, things are looking good! Hoping they can cut some slack on setup fees for us long-time buddies to keep it hassle-free. 👌

I called in to the OVH hotline in…

I called in to the OVH hotline in Singapore, and reached the sales hotline and was served by a nice and friendly gentleman by the name of Dinesh. I had an issue with a hosting site, and Dinesh was not only professional, but followed up with my request till the end even though this was not directly sales-related. He even communicated internally with his team in another region and department to get this resolved. I really appreciate his time, discretion and effort using his after-work hours to assist with this servicing query. We need more personnel like Dinesh who takes obvious pride in his work!
