Bloaty email service

Bloaty email service. Free version is very time consuming just to sign in with a browser. It seems like everyone else, they are attempting force use of their app by making use of a web browser for sign in as annoying and time consuming as possible. Just as difficult at times to sign off. I really do not need another app on my phone simply to check emails.

When logging out, after hitting log out command the screen either goes completely white or just returns to the inbox where you are still logged in.
When it goes white refreshing the page returns you to the inbox where you are still logged in. At times, I have literally wipe the browser of history and cookies to log out.

Once you are in, it's OK. But the sign in and log out process using a web browser is nothing short of painful.

As shitty as the company that created it.

As shitty as the company that created it.
If you wonder how bad Microsoft is as a company, how little it cares about it's clients/consumers, and how poorly designed, executed and implemented it's software is... just try to use outlook.office.com regularly (it's no longer called outlook.live.com, folks).
One start is a start too many.

Annoying logging issues and SPAM links within Inbox

While logging in to webmail, the website is always asking to verify my account using my other email, even if I always use the same PC, same browser, no cookies or other data were deleted. And after I verify the account, it keeps asking the same again and again!

They put advertisement links looking exactly as new email in the Inbox folder so often it happens I open those SPAM links which navigate to an external site, thinking I clicked on a new email.

Truly appalling app

Truly appalling app. It keeps login out and then takes me on a merry go round to my email supplier to login. Then wants an app password set up. Then spends a great deal of time setting thing up to say something went wrong. This has happened a few times now. In search of another email client.

I hate microsoft.

Everything goes wrong.

I've been using hotmail/outlook ever since I started on the internet. That's about 24 years now.

The service used to be perfect.

But ever since they forced the app a few years ago, everything has been going wrong. I'm receiving tons and tons of spam and phishing. My account got hacked multiple times, regardless of all the annoying safety measures that don't work half the time. The kicker is that you need this "service" (more trouble than not) just to be able to log into your pc.

I'm a business owner and I can't log into my own damned pc that I bought with my own damned money because outlook is full of bugs.
Forcing me to get a new password, then claiming my new password is wrong, having to change it multiple times, still not working. Then locked out for 24h, are you guys on drugs? The whole thing is a joke.

This is costing me money, this is insane.

Maybe I should go for the overpriced apple ios instead, because it seems there is no service anymore nowadays.

Whomever is in charge of outlook - they're being paid too much.

My Outlook Experience has been great!

I have been using outlook since the early 2000's. It has been reliable and secure for the entire time I have used it to my knowledge. There have been times when I had issues with Log in but they have been resolved and I have never been locked out of my account for very long. I recommend outlook for anyone looking for secure long term reliability.

Locked out of my email account of 30 years!

I've had the same email address since day one. On October 31 I was locked out of my account because of "security concerns". I've gone through all of the steps to solve this issue multiple times, but the response is always, "You did not answer the questions to our satisfaction. Do YOU remember all of your previous passwords and recent email dialogs?

Interesting that they want to send a code to the email that I cannot access. The real security risk is that I cannot communicate with medical practitioners, relatives regarding important matters, OR receive phone messages which are routed through email - not to mention that all of my contacts are tied up in this account.

The issue has apparently become insoluble, even by my spouse who worked at MS for many years. It is unacceptable.

Please fix your log in

Understanding how to log into this email service seems be more difficult than understanding quantum physics. The many times it will not work it seems not even Einstein would be able to figure out what to do.

Lost 2 accounts because of how bad that E mail platform is

Complete and utter rubbish.I lost several accounts because of the garbage that that E-mail service is.
One got Hacked yet I couldn't get it back, the support didn't help at all.
The Second is even worst it was those morrons themselves that lock me out of my account!!! Despite giving them the secret questions and other informations they deemed that I "Wasn't likely to be the owner of the account", Seriously?
I'm still being bothered because of loosing that E-mail years later, your trash!
Just like your sofwares!!!
Never use this poor excuse of an E-mail!
You have many others free and reliable one like Protonmail for exemple that never bothered me.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Forgot my password, the phone number they have registered for me I haven't had for years. Contacted them on live chat with no resolution, can't speak to a human and filled out multiple verification forms in which every time after about 30 seconds I get an email back saying I haven't given enough information. Really need to get into my email account which I have used for years as I have important emails regarding work etc and is really hindering my day to day life.

I don't understand why outlook is…

I don't understand why outlook is mandatory on my PC, i tried downloading the normal email app and they sent me to outlook, which is a nightmare (where do i start) It constantly logs out, i cannot count the number of times, currently it's not logging back in. Also very inconvenient especially because messages don't even load and this has been happening for months. This is the most annoying app ever. It should be taken off the market immediately!!

Constant Sign-in errors

Microsoft has blatantly broken Outlook. I haven't been able to log into my account a half dozen times in the past week. And when I can log in their ads freeze my computer and make it run slower. After having Hotmail for decades it's time to get a new email.
