Stitchfix ex-customer
My details have been passed from Stitchfix to Outfittery without my consent and I'm not happy about it. I was receiving emails into my junk from Outfittery and didn't know to expect a parcel when one arrived today. It has almost £500 worth of clothes in it which is far in excess of the levels for Stitchfix. In addition, I am trying to contact them by phone and have already been in the queue for 15 minutes with no idea how I can prevent them from sending more clothes. I do not want this subscription!

Return process broken
Return process broken. Returned items are not checked and being charged. Customer service hotline not available during business times. Emails not answered due to lacking employee resources.
Would never order again!

AVOID!
I was previously a Stitch Fix customer - without my permission my details were transferred to Outfittery. I did not order a box, a box has never arrived at my house, and yet I have been charged over £900 for an order I have never received! I have sent numerous emails to the company and not received a response, and I have been on hold for over three hours trying to contact them. Utterly poor.

Room for improvement
I cannot recommend this company at the moment but there is potential for the future. I was transferred automatically from Stitchfix with my account and received an initial box with wrong sizes for my profile. I sent everything back and was then sent a box with further items automatically (didn't ask for a further one, was on three monthly boxes as per autopilot). I sent all three items back but was charged for two of them and am currently disputing this.
Not only this, their website (at least the UK version) is poor. There is no option to delete the account and trying to change sizes seems to be impossible. I am very disappointed in this replacement of Stichfix which worked so smoothly for me for a few years.
Update 15/04/24: I have since received a refund and an apology so have amended my review.
I will likely wait a while before trying this company again as I think there may be a few things that need reviewing before I can trust in a smooth process.

Concerned they have all my personal details which I did not give permission for
I was an ex-customer of stitch-fix. I have never knowingly signed up with Outfittery or gave permission for my personal details to be passed over. Out of the blue, I received a box full of clothes and immediately returned them all. I queried with outfittery why I had received them and their response was to confirm my deletion of account request. However, one week later they sent an invoice for £14 but does not detail exactly what this amount is for and immediately deducted £14 from my account. I sent an email to outfittery asking for an refund which I have not received. They did reply with an automated response confirming my account has been deleted. I have now raised this as an issue with my credit card company. It's not the £14 that bothers me so much but that a company who I have not knowingly signed up to has my personal details.

Another former Stitch Fix customer
Another former Stitch Fix customer. Was automatically signed up to Outfittery and received an unexpected order, like so many others who have (rightly) complained here.
It is mind blowing that Outfittery has been permitted to use our addresses and payment information in this way. There is clearly a legal loophole being exploited.
Not a great way to enter a new market or ingratiate yourselves to potential new customers.
I have requested my account be closed. I hope Outfittery will at least honour this.

Terrible customer service . No replies to emails. Clothes are expensive and poor quality. Stitch fix was sooo much better
Would not recommend this company at all

Money taken for returned order
I've just had £500 taken out of my account from Outfittery for an order I returned a month ago. So far no response to my enquiry. Having read the reviews below, it's sounds as if this is a common issue with the company.

Scam. Will steal your money
Previously a user of stitch fix, and was moved over to outfittery. Was notified of impending box which I tried to cancel via app. £700 Box arrived anyway and I returned all items. 3 weeks later they stole £65 from my account for an item they say wasn’t returned, no reply to emails. This company will scam you!

Another StitchFix customer
Another StitchFix customer. I never received an email asking me to opt out (this is actually contrary to GDPR - has to be an opt in) so they created an account in my name anyway. I received a box - had no idea what it was - I complained to ICO and sought advice from Citizens Advice. ICO agreed this is contrary to GDPR but because of Brexit (another great Brexit benefit😡) they have no jurisdiction in EU. I have logged a complaint with the ICO equivalent in Germany. As these were unsoliticited goods I have written to them to say they have 14 days to collect and then I will dispose of them to the charity shop. I have cancelled my card so they cannot charge me. Disgusting practice by a very dodgy company. I will not ever use a company like this again. They have still not responded to any of my latest emails or provided me with proof that my details have been deleted from their system.

Poor initial experience
Like many other recent poor reviews, I am also an ex StitchFix customer. It appears that Outfittery are simply overwhelmed with the new customers they took on and are not equipped in any way to deal with the volumes.
I received my first bundle - I decided to keep two items and send back four items. However, I noticed that one of the items on my list was not in the package - they'd forgotten to send it. I immediately emailed, and have been waiting nearly two weeks for a response.
I returned the items I didn't want immediately and again after nearly two weeks, I have received an invoice which has the item on it that I didn't receive. I've emailed again today and tried to call - but unsurprisingly they are not taking calls at the moment! If the amount is taken from my credit card, I will ask my credit card provider to help me to dispute it.
I expect it will be sorted out eventually looking at other people's posts, but it's not a great start. I would give it a few months for them to sort themselves out before trying this vendor.

Awful company
As previous reviews, I was a stitch fix customer previously. I believe stitch fix have sold my information to outfittery, which I never consented to.
I received an email from outfittery saying that my clothes had been picked and were ready for despatch. I replied to the email saying I never requested them and don’t want them, please don’t send them and delete my details.
I received an email a couple of days later saying too late, it’s already been despatched, just refuse it at the door.
Typically the box was delivered and just left down the side of the house. As advised by customer service I opened the box, put the returns sticker on and resealed the box - I did not even unwrap let alone touch any of the clothes! I dropped this at the post office on the next working day.
I received an email over a week later saying they had received the box back and I just need to pay for the 1 item that I kept. What the hell! I didn’t even take the clothes out of the box.
I emailed straight away to tell them I hadn’t kept anything and to once again remove my details from their system. I got a response to say they had received my email and will get back to me.
Imagine my surprise when today I saw the amount pending in my bank account. So what, they’re just going to take the money anyway?
This company is despicable, I have never known a company like this. How can they get away with this shoddy behaviour?! Needless to say I wish I could give them 0 stars and I’m now going to have to ring my bank to get this sorted.
Oh and I’ve just received an email to say successful payment!!

Terrible company. Second month now where they have charged me in full despite returning every item. Each time I then have to wait for a member of your team to respond via email because NOBODY answers your phone lines. Shame on you for trying to rip off people in this way.
UPDATE
After billing me for clothes that I didn't buy, they have continued to ship boxes of clothes even though I have requested for this service to be cancelled. Useless money greedy crooks - NEVER USE THEM

Absolutely diabolical business
Absolutely diabolical business. Avoid at all cost!
Outfittery got my details from StitchFix when StitchFix left the UK market at the end of 2023. They took it upon themselves to set up a whole account with them without my authorisation and sent me a box of clothes I didn't want.
You can't get through to their customer service teams as they are no doubt flooded with angry ex-StitchFix people like me. I eventually had a response to say they would cancel my membership and I just needed to send the clothes back. Which I did--EVERY SINGLE ITEM--and thought that would be the end of it. Imagine my rage when I got a bill from them today saying I owe them for an item of clothing that I didn't return. OUTRAGEOUS!
What a bizarre strategy to run a business. It's one thing to offer former Stitch Fix customers the option to join their service but to effectively force people to join as a consequence of not replying to their emails is appalling.

I received a box I didn't ask for.. no response from the company. I'm shocked my details were shared from StitchFix. Hundreds of pounds worth of stuff. I now have to find a Post Office and take it there to post it all back. Absolutely shocked at the cheek of this company.

I have already paid and they keep trying to take more money!
I too was an old Stitch Fix customer. I was happy to use this new company. I loved the clothes they sent. I kept all the clothes they sent. I have since paid for my order BUT they keep sending me emails to say that I haven't paid AND they keep trying to take the money out of my account. Luckily, I have made sure that the account in question has nothing in it, so they can't take anymore! I have sent numerous emails and they keep telling me that my email is in a queue and that they are busy! STOP trying to take more of my money!!!!!

I orderedsome clothes which arrived and they weren't for me. Their site wasn't working and no one ever return my
Emails and calls until i made a complaint. They acknowledge i wanted to return my
Goods which i did promptly after. A month later i get billed for just under £300 for these said clothes which i returned. This has taken me into an overdraft on a
Debt i shouldn't have. And once again no one is returning my emails and no one ever answers the phone. This is appalling!!!! Stay well clear of this awful awful company.

I’d give them a zero but I had to out at least one! Ordered stuff in December which took a month to come, their useless system still shows it as not delivered (it’s now nearly April) so I can’t send anything back. It’s been sat in the corner of my bedroom gathering dust for the last 3 months. I’ve finally emailed them and told them not to bother charging me I will send the clothes to a charity.
