My MSI laptop was hitting 92°C + daily. This wasn’t due to heavy gaming or anything hectic — just normal everyday use: web browsing, Word, emails. Every now and then it would shut down due to overheating. If you’ve ever owned an MSI, you’ll understand the loud fan noises… it sounds like it’s taking off. People would always ask why my laptop was so noisy. MSI laptops are not the best, and I won’t purchase the brand again — there’s just too much nonsense to deal with.

The only reason I went this route was needing a laptop with a good graphics card at the time. I create forensic animations using FARO Zone 3D Expert, and I need all the power I can get. Fans blowing!!

With a bit of time on my hands, I decided to use Grok and try to narrow down exactly what was making my laptop run so hot. I might add that I even replaced the paste on my CPU, thinking it had dried out. Malwarebytes was a culprit, and after killing that, I gained about 3°C back.

Using Grok to guide me, one recommendation I got was to install Camomile — yes, I also thought of stress-free tea! Grok says some strange things sometimes. I wasn’t sure what the software would do, as I had already installed Core Temp, which was just spitting out warnings. I wish I was able to attach screenshots.

Anyway… after two minutes, my download of Camomile was complete. I installed it and waited for warnings while my fans blasted away. Moments later, everything just slowed down… the fan dropped a speed or two. I got up to get a drink of water, and when I returned my laptop was silent. I thought it had shut down — but it hadn’t. It was running super cool at an average of 60°C. This was too weird, so I let it idle, and the temps fell to 48°C.

I couldn’t understand how this works — how on earth does such a small piece of software have so much power??? Why has MSI not made this part of their own software?

Anyway, I love looking at my little flower fan app. I’ve never seen it go above 70°C, even when I’m doing a full render using the GPU. Clean software — no pop-ups, no ads, nothing — just keeping things super cool. It’s so weird not hearing my fans anymore… like having a brand new machine.

This Product is your best bet. It has many features and a variety of different apps to suit your needs. I highly trying it out. It has a free trial basis. I think it may be worth your while. especially if you own an older model computing system.

Bad 3 days with keyboard showing as Unknown, even after doing a factory reset. Contacted Support twice, both times got Simon, and he just fixed it very quickly.

No Uninstall Function
You can't get this thing off your computer once you try it. It did NOT meet the expectation for what it promised and it will not uninstall no matter what you do. I have my IT guys get it off.

Not long ago, I was on here reading some of the reviews folks were posting for Outbyte Computing Software. One of the reviews was not very good and I was taken back as to why. This person never explained why he didn't like it, just that he didn't. Any software out there is as good as you treat it. I have been a member of Outbyte Computing for sometime, I think more then 5 years. The people that work for Outbyte are very helpful, and very nice. They keep my pc up to date and working on it's best performance. I don't trust anyone else's software but theirs. They have several types of software to protect your pc but, I only use two, Outbyte PC Repair and Outbyte diver updater. These programs work just great, and if for some reason, they don't they have really nice people to assit you with it. I love Outbyte, and I think you will as well. Oh, just to mention, Thankyou Simon for your assistance.
