Oroton go above and beyond for their customers.

My wife and I are very happy Oroton customers. My wife loves the high quality products but we can usually only afford to buy them when they are on special as we are a low-income couple without much to spare.

I don't know where the couple of negative reviews come from, maybe they are mistaking Oroton for someone else...

Last year we bought a beautiful bag (Roam Large Hobo) and my wife has been using it ever since. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago one of the ring-clasps that hold the strap fixed to the bag, broke... I contacted customer service via email and advised them of the situation...

Now, the bag was over a year old and thus outside of the Australian Consumer warranty period... I knew that and explained that I would be happy to pay for a new ring for the bag if it was possible. Also, I couldn't find out proof of purchase, so I didn't know if Oroton would be able to help at all...

Within an hour, Ashley from customer service emailed me back saying that she had found the proof of purchase (must have searched for my name on the order) and that, unfortunately, the bag was sold out but that Oroton would happily give us a store credit as compensation (keep in mind, the bag was over a year old...).

I wrote back and asked if it was at all possible if we could be supplied a clasp as was needed instead... She made no promises. but told us to go to our local store. When I arrived in store with the bag one of the staff members knew about the case and gave me a clasp exactly as the one which was broken, one she had found in advance for us. She didn't ask payment and she was just nice about it.

Now, I don't know where the ring came from - I sort of hope it was a spare one lying around or came of a bag that was returned as faulty... But it may just as easily have been taken of another good bag, just for us.

My opinion of Oroton is that they are loyal to their customers. They can't do enough for you.

Disgusting customer service

Disgusting customer service. Took them 11 days to tell me my order was out of stock, then a further 3 days for a refund. I had actually emailed to say that I would have another colour which was in stock. No response.
