Very happy with the rear wheel rack that we bought for our Defender 90, good quality product and the installation instructions were helpful.

Excellent service and communication from ORE. I have purchased for my Defender, spare wheel carrier, light bar and grills. All quality products. Back up for the excellent products is first class communication and technical support, which I called upon with installing a light bar. I highly recommend this company.

I purchased an ORE bumper with integrated DRLs after a recommendation from a colleague. The service and quality are exemplary. I now have a wish list for other upgrades to my defenders because of the quality and service I received from my first purchase. Kind regards eastanglia350

I ordered a new bumper as I saw the reviews on Doctors Garage and wanted a quality item
I ordered the bumper on line and got an automatic email sayng it would be shipped
After waiting a week I sent a snotty email asking where it was.
Chris the MD phoned and explained they had been flooded so then I felt a bit guilty, thought I should give him a thumbs up for ringing

I contacted LTPRTZ via email a week ago asking for a quote and information on where their LED headlights and work lights are manufactured, as I was looking at placing a substantial order in excess of £3000.

LTPRTZ ignored my question but said ORE 4x4 were their U.K. distributor. After looking at their website I noticed the prices were much higher than LTPRTZ direct and it stated that they were made in Germany. I explained this to LTPRTZ and asked them to confirm if the LEDs are made in Germany and if it was possible for them to provide a quote instead of ORE.

LTPRTZ again ignored my question on manufacturing and CC’d ORE into our email conversation. So I asked ORE for a quote and again information on manufacturing.
Again I was ignored but instead asked for my telephone number.

I expressed that I was only looking for quote and information on manufacturing again for a 4th time.
As this is the 5th company that I had contacted about LED headlights I’m well aware that these companies want a phone call so they can give you a sales pitch rather than giving a straight answer. Not to mention that giving a quote and answering a single question via email is a pretty quick thing to do.

ORE replied again ignoring my question and asked once more for my telephone number so they could deal with my enquiry quickly. Although I’d imagine replying to an email with a price and quite literally the name of the country of manufacture would be the the quickest way.

I explained I didn’t want a phone call for reasons I’ve mentioned above in this review.

4 days went by and I had no reply so I thought I’d ask once more and also CC in LTPRTZ.

The next day I received what I’d call, a clutching at straws and somewhat rude reply from ORE saying that their MD… Chris, had spoken to LTPRTZ about my emails and LTPRTZ would not longer be replying to me and that if I couldn’t accept a phone call then they couldn’t help me. In the same email they then accused me of being a “competitor” (not sure how asking for a quote would benefit a competitor to be honest) along with some rubbish about how MD Chris had instructed the sales rep I was talking to at ORE to not contact me after this email. Apparently he found it strange that I would want a quote on multiple units of their LEDs (I have multiple trucks). Complete and utter rubbish to try and hide the truth once more. Along with “we have had multiple strange emails asking about pricing.”
You don’t say, what you sell a product and customers email you asking for a price in the hope for a discount….?

Furthermore, after that email I looked on OREs website again and they had removed the statement “made in Germany” and it now reads “designed in Germany” I can only guess this is a ploy to try and convince more customers they are buying a German manufactured product when they aren’t.

I emailed back explaining all the above and that I’d take it they are made in China. Suprise suprise, never got a response back or a response from LTPRTZ, which is odd because if your LEDs were made in Germany as you stated then you’d be singing it from the rooftops.

If ORE has just replied to me and been truthful I wouldn’t have left this review and just moved on, but I’m certainly not being accused of any wrong doing by MD Chris, when in fact they are the ones telling lies to their customers for financial gain.

Safe to say I won’t be back and advise any customers who have been Mis-sold LTPRTZ LEDs to email ORE and ask where they are manufactured, not designed!

Unbeatable customer service!

Talk about a company caring about its customers. DHL delivered my ORE package to the wrong address and it was nicked. ORE spent days chasing DHL for a refund (shout out to Jenn in the front office) but DHL couldn’t care less and washed their hands of it. Chris the owner reached out to me personally and stepped up with a discount to re order if I wanted. It wasn’t ORE’s fault, but they still wanted to do right. This is why I keep coming back to them, you won’t find another outfit more passionate about the community or its customers. DHL could learn a lesson from them.

I have ordered additional Offroad equipment for my Toyota several times and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised by the price, quality and fast delivery from Poland to Croatia. I have also advised my friends to draw attention to the offer of the ORE 4x4 store because they really have product quality and excellent communication and reasonable prices.

I have been putting off writing this review for a number of months to give an honest long term review on my experience of ORE’s products.

Oak Ridge Engineering (O.R.E) is a British company which I discovered online selling Defender products which the Land Rover community rated highly . Chris, Simon and their team bring fresh life into the aftermarket Land Rover scene through engineering new products which will last a long time and not deteriorate like most Land Rover accessories generally do.

In February 2022 I made the big decision to purchase a wheel carrier, Steering guard and a pair of corner protectors for my puma defender to help eliminate some of the known issues with a Land Rover.

After researching the various options available on the market I decided on ORE which was offering British made heavy duty products at a price which did not compromise on quality or function, as their products are over engineered for the job. Yes there are cheaper products out there; however, these will most likely be inferior to the quality of ORE and its secret military grade coating.

After placing my order I was amazed at how quick and well packaged the items arrived. All the parts were individually wrapped and protected with plenty of bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure the products arrived damage free which of course they did 😁🙌.

I am pleased to say that after 6 months of having these parts fitted to my defender they still look brand new and are performing the jobs they were designed to do. The only maintenance I have had to do is ensure that every 3 months I check the grease levels in the wheel carrier bearings and top up as required to keep the bearings operating smoothly.

I will definitely be purchasing from ORE again in the future and in fact wish they would speed up with bringing out more products; however, it is a testament that Chris and Simon will not rush products to market and want to ensure they are near bombproof before being sold 😁🙌.

Rest assured when I purchase an ORE product I know I am getting a high quality product which has been rigorously tested and developed to perform a specific role as best as possible and not fail like inferior products.

Everyone should have an ORE product on their Land Rover 😁👍

Easy ordering process and the Defender seatbox protectors look and feel absolutely top notch. If there is one small criticism to be made it concerns the shipping charges to mainland europe where in all honesty there are better value terms and conditions out there.

Great service from ORE from ordering through to communication about delivery. ORE Products are so well made and the time and money that they spend on R&D is second to none. Once you’ve had the ORE powder coating system on your defender parts you’ll never buy anything without it again! TDG

The quality of the products is second to none. My most recent purchase was the bumper and other than the quality of it, one thing that impressed me was the supply of light mounting brackets as the ones that come with the lights are not As high quality. Something that most companies wouldn’t do. I think they’re the best out there , although I’m a little bias as I have every product expect for the cargo guard!

Absolutely superb product. The quality is unrivalled - at last a company that produces items that are built to last as long as the Defenders they're made for!
