Faulty Product, Broken Promises & Unprofessional Support
I ordered the Orb Sport mouthguard on June 19 directly from their website. Unfortunately, my experience has been nothing but disappointing.
1. Product Failure
• The unit never calibrated. The green light never came on, making the product completely unusable from day one.
2. Support Runaround
• After reaching out, I was asked to repeat pointless steps (resubmit tickets, send photos, etc.) with no resolution.
• Responses were slow, vague, and dismissive, and I constantly had to follow up to get even basic updates.
3. Return Process Failure
• Eventually, support told me to start the warranty return process. I submitted the request on August 9, exactly as instructed.
• Instead of honoring their warranty with a replacement, they insisted they needed to “check the product first” before sending one out — even though I had already shipped everything back at my own expense.
• To make matters worse, Orb provided only a P.O. Box return address with no one to sign, which DHL flagged. This caused further delays and additional costs on my side.
4. Financial & Time Loss
• I have now spent nearly double the cost of the product just on shipping fees with nothing in return. (Due to them not processing the return request)
• The warranty request has still not been processed, and I have no working unit or replacement.
Final Verdict:
Orb Sport may look like an innovative concept, but the execution is deeply flawed. The product failed immediately, the warranty process was never honored, and their support team has shown no accountability or professionalism.
For a company charging premium prices, this behavior is unacceptable. Until Orb Sport fixes both their product quality and customer service, I strongly recommend avoiding them.
