China Direct. Poor on every count.

You are led into thinking you are dealing with an American company. _ You are not. China Direct.
Whole experience gets worse. Don't waste your money.
Glasses are unwearable and cheap. Lenses feel like plastic. Website reviews are not Trustpilot, but made to look like they are. Also all positive, yet not so here.....
Avoid!!

Please, don't waste your time or money

Description and pictures misleading.
I ordered distant glasses and received reading glasses - this was with me attaching my prescription.
Returns & Refund Policy link leads you nowhere.
Lead time was 3 weeks.
Customer Service team - is there one? I think a computer generated response.
Another greedy bunch of fat cats scamming us.

Suck with a capital shit

Suck with a capital shit. Confusing ordering process, mistaken prescription. Won't give refund or even relay the policy. Seriously they will just disappear though and return under a new name. Typical China business I'm afraid.

Avoid At All Cost

I bought these prescription safety goggles in good faith. These glasses cost me over $70.
I thought they would be good quality. How wrong I was.
They took far longer to arrive than they say, and when they did they arrived with no paperwork, as they were drop-shipped from Ali-Express or similar.
The prescription was slightly off. They make me feel nauseous when wearing them. They are only prepared to change to a flat lens because they told me the lens problem is with the lenses because they are curved.
Also, despite ordering "hydrophobic" which means you can see if they get wet, they mist up so you cannot see when it's raining. After I complained they said I should have ordered anti-fog. There is NOT an anti-fog option. Optical Factor is saying I should have asked for anti-fog, even though it is NOT an option. Now they want another $30. It's excuse after excuse.
These are advertised as "Hunter" glasses. They will arrive with "Daisy" written on the frame- you can buy these on AliExpress for $3 or less.
I have been in dialog via email for over 2 weeks. All they do is constantly repeat they want another $30 to fix the misting problem; which is their failure. They are now ignoring the fact the prescription is off. I'm not trusting more money to a company that ships a product that is not fit for purpose with zero recourse or trust.
When you click on their refund policy it goes nowhere, another red flag.
they are based in China.
They will not publish any negative reviews on their site. I've tried.
Trust pilot reviews show the true picture. I wish I had looked here 1st.
Total con. Avoid at all costs.

Update: They have stopped communicating since I left a true review of my experience.

Bought sports sunglasses which when they arrived were obviously very cheap, but as I was using them for driving I could live with. However after about 4 months I put them on in my car and the lens fell out as the frame had snapped.
I emailed and started a chat with O.F but after more than a week have had no reply.
Lesson learned, Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Quick quick quick

Ordered my prescription on a Friday received order the next Wednesday they actually made my prescription lenses and delivered quicker than other sites and spec savers there's real time tracking too. The glasses are not expensive so don't expect Ray-Bans or Oakley for £25. I actually really like the lenses too they are fantastic.
Overall I'm happy with purchase it's not a scam site or a con just don't expect the best quality

One-Star Experience

One-Star Experience: Avoid This Company for Prescription Glasses

I ordered prescription glasses and received the wrong frame model. On top of that, I specifically ordered progressive lenses, but what I got was NOT progressive. I contacted the company immediately, hoping for a resolution, but instead, they were extremely unprofessional and rude.

They made constant demands, asking me to send pictures and videos proving the lenses weren’t progressive, even requesting that I pay out of pocket to have the lenses analyzed by a local optometrist and send them the results. This is a completely unreasonable request.

Not once did they offer a reasonable solution or take accountability for their mistake. I strongly advise against buying glasses from this company. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere for your eyewear needs.

Very poor quality

I ordered 2 pairs of safety glasses from optical factor. One clear the other polarized. They were progressive lenses and supposed to be safety glasses. The clears have not been worn yet and the sunglasses have been worn 3 times. Only 3 times, let that sink in. Once while driving and twice while out on the lake fishing. I wore them on 10/12 during a bass tournament and on my drive home. When I arrived home I took the glasses off and put them in their case they came with and put them on my desk. A few days later I had to go into the office in the early morning so I grabbed my sunglasses and headed out to my truck. I start my drive and got to a spot the sun was glaring and made it hard to see, so I opened my case to get my sunglasses out. To my shock they fell out of the case in two pieces. While sitting on my desk in the case the frame split right at the bridge. I reached out to their customer care that same day and have yet to hear back from them a week later. Stay far away from these guys. If you need prescription safety glasses go with a company like Fuglies or CA Glasses.

Way too cheap frame and no customer service!!

To make it short, I ordered a polarized prescriptioned sunglasses from Optical factor. All I got was a tinted prescriptioned sunglasses and when I tried to get hold of them nobody responded to my emails. On top of that the frame that I was charged $42 Canadian for is very cheap, actually the same frame is sold about $3-4 Canadian on Temu or Shein apps.
If I had a choice I would give them 0 Star.
Don't waste your time and money.

Terrible

Terrible, the order came from china and took longer than expected. The “safety glasses” that came were terrible cheap plastic and I decided to test them with a sub 1 joule airsoft gun and they shattered with one shot. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!

This company is very unprofessional

This company is very unprofessional. My glasses were ordered in mid August 2024 and I have yet to receive my purchase item or any real feedback on the ETA. I've sent multiple emails with no responses except that the ADD was incorrect on my prescription. This company has horrible customer service, poor reviews, has no urgency with customers purchase or responses to emails. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE read reviews before doing ANY business with this company. I wish I would have read the reviews before I made my purchase. In my personal opinion, I think this company is a scam. I pray that this review and all other reviews provide others with assistance before dealing with this company.

Poor quality

Poor quality. Prescription safety glasses cracked without ever being dropped. Lens fell out was not recoverable. Was offered replacement frame, but no lenses. Lasted 3 weeks.
