very good service. I am very happy with Open art AI
Very good service. I use open art AI created a lot of amazing images.
Exceptional customer service
The platform is great, plus their customer service is exceptional - fast and very responsive, which is a great plus!
Quick Response, Great Explanation.
Very happy with the responsiveness of the OpenArt support team. I needed some clarification on pricing when wanting to make a decision to upgrade plans. It was worded Ok on the website, but I was a little unsure from my end. In a world in which support is handled by AI bot responses by other, I was very surprised and extremely happy with the personalized explanation and the speediness of their response. Loving the software by the way. Matt W
Thank you so much
Thank you so much, OpenArt, for addressing my accidental monthly subscription purchase. Your team was very responsive—I really appreciate it
Do not get locked in with Openart!
I wish I came to trustpilot before buying a year subscription with this horrible company. OpenArt is one of the most frustrating creative tools I’ve used. It constantly fails at the one thing it’s supposed to do: follow the prompt.
Even when you provide clear, structured instructions, the results are inconsistent and unpredictable. There’s no reliable way to maintain character identity, composition, or details without excessive trial and error.
The UI adds to the problem. Instead of helping you move faster, it creates confusion and breaks your workflow. Features feel half-finished, and important controls are either buried or don’t work as expected.
This is not a professional-grade nor a useful beginner tool. It feels like a beta product being sold as a finished system that wants to lock you in then refuse to let you back out and refuse to fix their software.
I love this app
I love this app, it's so cool and I fell right into making images right away! I have a lot of artistic detailed images in my head, but I can't draw a stick man! This thing allows me to see them materialize before my eyes! Very user friendly! LOVE IT!
I'm also very impressed that a real person got back to me willing to help when I needed it! I guess we are all conditioned to expect the worse things from companies these days but this company is the exception...I'm a lifetime user for sure! I making a video graphic novel with this program.
Sincerely, John Goodwin
OpenArt = Waste of time and money
is absolutely ridiculous how a such AI image/video generator can't generate an image with a transparent background/PNG ( see-through ). Their other background tool is useless, not accurate, waste of time.
Not to mention that when u're asking for a certain backgeound color u're getting something else.
Usually I'm not posting reviews but after tryjng to generate 1 useful image with over 60-70 prompts ( mine, gpt customized, enhanced, u name it ) my conclusion is OpenArt is overhyped, it doesn't understand the prompts ( 5 lines or 30 lines ), it doesn't have creativity.
It has quality as is using the best tools but 99% of the time is garbage as it doesn't know how and when to use those tools.
I'm posting this review after 2 days ( over 15h ), over 5k credits spent as I couldn't get a simple image as display with transparent background/PNG ( tried examples, characters, etc ).
Waste of time and money...
OpenArt.AI Operations
After months for testing OpenArt.ai and testing with comparison platforms I have come to comprehend how OpenArt.Ai operates. They are a small team with zero client service accountability. They have only 1 API (some cheap POS service) but they advertise they have API's for everything. This will explain the utter rotten prompt adherance and customer care. We need a class action against this organisation that is full of public lies. Buyers...simply do not buy.
OpenArt.Ai you will be held to account. Truth always prevails and wins! I do not trust these glazing positive reviews they all are utter lies!!
Probably the worst experience with AI…
Probably the worst experience with AI so far.
I work in graphic design and used many ai models over the last couple months and I can say this is probably the worst thing ever.
Had 12k credits which couldn't guarantee a good result for simple 10 seconds animation.
Tried all their models, all type of settings, from high to low and whatever you can adjust.
Couldn't get 1 single good result with 12k credits!
Total waste of money and time, very frustrating.
LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE.

You have charged me $49 although I change my plane I had CANCEL BEFORE THE END OF YOUR CURRENT SUBSCRIPTION PERIOD
Quick and effective customer service
I made a mistake by accidentally spending credits twice to train a character. I emailed Openart about the problem and they responded within a day and very quickly fixed my issue by refunding my mistake.

I canceled my subscription And they changed me WTF!!!! dont go near them guys
Openart is a rip off! I am sorry I never read their reviews!
I bought it so that I could make a video about ancient days, in the times of Jesus. I explained to the prop in detail what I wanted about the images and people, but the images were not nearly as good as what you get for free with Google copilot, and in the background, I wanted ancient Jerusalem and its Temple plus Pharisees, Sadducees and Rabbis, ... But what I got was very disappointing and a Christian / Catholic church in the background. What? I said to myself. Not only that but they DO NOT GIVE ANY REFUNDS!! Buyer beware!!
Great customer service
Customer service was fantastic and got back to me very quickly! Thanks Melissa, you rock!
My credit card was fraudulently charged…
My credit card was fraudulently charged for services. I never gave my credit card information as I am unaware of this service or any charges incurred. I had to cancel my card.
Feel scammed
Feel scammed, it clearly said March 15th on my dashboard all month and they terminated my account on the 11th, causing me to lose over 10000 credits. I asked support and they totally don't care, too bad so sad, but their interface itself had lied to me. 100% will never deal with these guys again.
Great support and fast refund
I accidentally resumed my subscription and was charged, but the support team was very helpful and quickly issued a refund. Great customer service 👍
REFUND MY UNUSED CREDITS
Subscribing to OpenArt’s video generator has been one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had with an AI platform.
Each month I pay for 12,000 credits, but if I only use around 4,000 credits, OpenArt completely wipes out the remaining credits when the new subscription cycle begins. Over just two months, I have lost more than 16,000 credits that I paid for but never got to use.
This is extremely unethical. Most AI platforms allow unused credits to roll over, especially when users are paying significant amounts for them. Clearing credits simply because the subscription renews feels unfair and exploitative.
What makes this even worse is the lack of customer support. I sent an email to the contact address I found on Google, but the message failed to deliver. I have also submitted multiple complaints through the “Contact Us” section on their website, and I have received no response whatsoever.
At this point, I’m just waiting to finish using the last credits I already paid for, and after that, I will never use their platform again.
Users deserve transparency, fair credit policies, and responsive customer support—none of which I’ve experienced here.
Respect
Hey guys..
I never do these things, but I just had to this time. I'm fairly new to OpenArt, well any AI period. LOng story short, I made a bunch of mistakes one way or another. I lost over 5000 credits. When I reported it to aske wth I had done, they explained, THEN gave me my credits back.. If you don't know, that does not happen these days.. Much respect to these guys and their pride in their customers and their company name.. KUDOS !!

Review: 1 Star - A "Private" Trap. They delete your art and steal credits!
Avoid OpenArt AI at all costs. This platform is a massive money trap designed to hold your creativity hostage.
First, the system is buggy. I’ve had constant errors where generations fail, yet the system still takes my credits. Even when you complain, they don't seem to care that you're paying for "broken" results.
But the absolute worst part is their predatory deletion policy. If you create art in "Private Mode" (which you pay for), OpenArt AI deletes your entire portfolio the moment you stop your subscription. Unless you publish your work publicly for everyone to see, they wipe it. It is a complete "pay-to-keep" system.
I still have credits left that I paid for, but because I cancelled the recurring sub, they’ve wiped my work. Do not trust this site with your time or your money—they don't respect creators, they just want your credit card on file forever.
