Ontstoppingsbedrijfvermeer is a fraud…

Ontstoppingsbedrijfvermeer is a fraud plumbing company!! Don't fall with their deceiving ads in Google!

On Sep 25 Thu, I had a problem fixing the clogging of our kitchen sink. I tried to insert 3m wire and I thought this solve the issue however, it became worse since the water doesn't go down anymore. So my wife search in Google "how to fix problem that water doesn't drain in kitchen sink". Unfortunately this company pop out and we got interested with the promise of fast service with clear price (like no hidden charges)

So as they promised, at 8:20 PM, the plumber from ontstoppingsbedrijfvermeer.nl arrived.
Immediately the guy asked if he can park his van in front of our house so I have to move my car and we switched places.

He started to do "something" at 8:27 because he also talks a lot. And since he didn’t like being watched while working, we gave him space and sat on the couch. At first, we weren’t sure what he was doing, but after a few minutes he started talking about extra options, like using a camera to look inside the pipes.
With the prices he is talking we started thinking that the cost is too much so we asked him to just finish the job and we agree that he will charge us until 21:20. After cleaning up, we checked the flow of water in the sink and it did improve so we could say at that time problem is solved.

I wanted to make sure we could pay him, so I wrote down the costs he mentioned:

Start fee: €55
Evening fee: €50
Snake wire: €59.50 per meter × 8 meters = €475
Work time: €29.90 per 15 minutes × 2 = €59.90
Vacuum: €24.95

Total: €664.85
Discount: €50
Final: €650

He said if we paid in cash instead of card, we wouldn’t have to pay the 21% tax. So we went to withdraw the money. Oddly, he wanted to come with us, saying it was “a matter of principle” or maybe because he didn’t trust us. I told him that didn’t make sense, since he already knew where we lived. But in the end, he came along. After we got the money, he came back with us, said goodbye, and left.

While he was here, he also talked a lot. He mentioned that he wanted to go on vacation to our country and even said we had a beautiful sofa. When I started writing down the costs, he laughed and said it was the first time he had a customer do that. Honestly, it felt like he spent more time talking than actually fixing the sink.

All this terrible things happened to us that night but what's worse is the following morning, the problem on the sink is back and we cannot still use it. We immediately call them but they said that we have to report that via email and send it to the email address in their website. Unfortunately, our email bounced back because it has wrong domain. We called again for several times and finally they said we need to remove one character (-) from the email address. Finally, the email was sent but until now no response from them. We even tried calling but this time its either it will just ring or they drop the call. Good thing we are assisted by a friend FOR FREE to de-clog the pipes otherwise until now we still have the problem with the sink :(

Scammed €1400 cash after fake €55…

Scammed €1400 cash after fake €55 promise – full story below
On 26 September 2025, I called the emergency number listed on the website ontstoppingsbedrijfvermeer.nl
(also found under .brickbytes.nl)

On the phone, I was told the base price would be €55.

After the work, the technician presented me with a shocking invoice of €2875.

The invoice included absurd charges such as:

Camera cost €165 twice (€330 total), as if I had bought the camera.

Cleaning €35.

Spiral wire €895.20.

When I questioned it, the man became aggressive and said these were “emergency charges.”

After I refused, he threatened me with an “agency” and pressured me to settle in cash.

In the end, I was forced to pay €1400 cash.

This was fraud, deception, and intimidation.

I have filed complaints with the Dutch Fraud Helpdesk (Fraudehelpdesk.nl), the ACM ConsuWijzer, and the Police in Eindhoven for fraud and extortion.

⚠️ Do NOT trust this company.
They lure customers with “from €55” ads and then scam them with fake invoices and threats. This is not a legitimate plumbing business.
