Would give 0 stars is possible as their customer service is non existent. I have made three requests since 19/08/2026 and all they have done is send me email confirmations of each request.

Well this company are advertising for property to rent and giving wrong information. Either they have property to rent and they do not want to rent it or they want to keep it and not rent it. I mean which one is it you view a property and they give it to somebody else. Some companies are lying and not even giving people a application form. Wasting peopes money and time real time wasters and the owners have no idea of whom is representing them.
This system does not work nobody is renting and the owners have empty properties. The real estate think they are funny but they are extremely unprofessional individuals who have no idea what they doing.
And the criteria the real estates are making up. They are making up a criteria as they go along, not completing the administration by answering the phones, emails and lying to potential customers.
Not only are they unprofessional they are jealous and possessive about property which does not even belong to them.
They owners have no idea why the property is empty and the unskilled behaviour of the property agents.
Useless, corrupt people move Onthemarket from the Internet completely!

I was really satisfied with Iesha's customer service
My experience of OnTheMarket as an agent has been made purely down to our account manager Shelley Harris. Without her our account was 'unnoticeable' we now have someone that is supportive and progressive with advice and looking after us. A real asset to OTM.
Untrustworthy. I requested no marketing yet have had 4 dodgy money grabbing emails from other companies within an hour of filling in valuation form. Clearly shared my details. I regret filling in the form and am just glad I gave a fake phone number. Avoid!
I had a great experience when enquiring for a viewing for a sharer friendly property today.
My advisor, Dane was very helpful in ensuring I was able to get the best possible chance at viewing the property, despite there being many other people looking into it.
Dane was patient and clear when providing the best advice he could to help my case. I felt very satisfied & reassured after the experience.
A reliable company, with fast responses & great service!
The company advertises instant online valuation, but after completing the forms, all they offer is a visit from a property agent. I call this a scam.

Instant valuation is a total con. Didn't give me one, just connected me to agents.

Promised an instant online valuation, er right, have to select an agent to value

Wish I had read the reviews before using this website. Ridiculous house valuations that make no sense- absolute scam to get hooks into you- do not ask for a valuation!!!’n

Just seen advert from this mob - garbage!
Picking a very tiny minority to represent them is ludicrous and obviously run by a bunch of WOKE idiots!
As I am not mixed race, it clearly does not relate to me.
I have ensured I receive nothing from this bunch.
Nowhere near as good as Rightmove and Zoopla anyway.
On The Market has played an integral role in my toolkit for numerous years. I love the forward-thinking and growing ethos of the brand, not to mention the increasing amount of buyers I encounter who are loyal users of the platform. I consider myself a proud ambassador :-)

Used the property valuation function and applied the just interested field and have had a number of estate agents approach for my ‘sale’. Will not make this mistake again.

Have sent numerous rental applications with on the market. Then a few days later you receive a follow up email to call a number. The agent then every time doesn't know what your on about as they haven't received your application. Absolutely useless and a waist of time this company. Every single application I have made and there has been many has never reached the area agent. I'll never use this again.

Says they offer a free instant valuation but actually don’t, make you sign up to be contacted by an estate agent with no valuation. Clearly just a way to be paid for leads.

The advert stated to get a valuation on line to give your details. The next day I started getting calls from all the estate agents in Sheffield, they had passed my information on instead of giving a valuation on line as stated. I could have phoned the agents myself but I didn't want that hassle, I will never use this company for any reason .

As a retired Charted Building Surveyor I have done a few valuations . As a matter of interest I looked up the value of my property. The response was inaccurate and misleading.
