I had a very pleasant experience with my tutor. Steve made chemistry easier to understand and gave me access to hard exam questions for me to practice my exam technique. He also effortlessly explained difficult concepts that I found difficult to grasp initially. This definitely assisted to me to achieve an A in A-Level Chemistry confirming my place to study medicine. I would 100% recommend Steve to any year 12s or year 13s struggling with A-Level Chemistry aiming for a higher grade!

Steve tutored me for 2 years in chemistry, and was incredibly helpful! He explains chemistry concepts concisely and provides plenty of resources which really helped improve my confidence. Steve has tutored my son Richie throughout this academic year for his A-Level Chemistry resit as he aspires for a second time to make Vet School. Steve’s approach, knowledge and enthusiasm for a very challenging and difficult subject have been first class and this has ‘rubbed off’ on Richie enormously. 12 months ago ‘Chemistry’ was a taboo word in our house especially after his exams but now Richie regularly speaks of the subject with interest and understanding and feels confident for the result he now awaits. Steve was an excellent tutor throughout A-level chemistry. His explanations were always great, not only improving my understanding of chemistry but improving my confidence too. I liked the way I could record the lessons, as I could then use them as revision resources closer to my exams. The use of past paper questions throughout each lesson was also extremely helpful for my understanding of a topic and helped to highlight any issues. He was very friendly and approachable- I would highly recommend Steve as a tutor!

He was thoroughly professional and so positive, explaining complex mechanisms clearly and revisiting several analytical techniques. Steve has made a profound difference to my son’s grades and confidence during his A-levels. After the first hour tuition with ‘Chemistry Steve’ my daughter fell back in love with chemistry. She said he was like having 5 hours of learning in school compacted into one fun, focused hour.
