I had a really lovely day last week with Karen, designing, cutting, soldering, chatting, singing along to the radio and learning lots as I created my first ever garden column! She's a great teacher and host and I thoroughly enjoyed both the creative and human aspects of the day and would 100% recommend taking a class with Karen as she's not only knowledgeable and open, but generous with her time and expertise and her soup was fabulous! A really enjoyable day and I shall be returning very soon to learn more :)

What a way to run a business!
Waited 14 weeks for my order. Never got it. Was continually fobbed off. Karen even asked what I’d ordered at one point. Endless excuses, endlesss sob stories as to why I hadn’t received my order. Even though everything was in emails this scatty woman doesn’t know what she’s doing. She gave me a delivery date and denied it 2 weeks later. Other delivery dates came and went. Took my deposit at Wisley garden show and I never saw my money again or got my order. Seems charming but is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. You would have thought Wisley would vet exhibitors. Clearly not. She ripped me off. The last thing she said was “something things go your way, others don’t”!!!

This was the second time we have visited Karen, to make a glass column. We had so much fun the first time, we decided to come again. Karen met us with the same friendly welcome, and treated us like old friends. As usual, she was very helpful. We enjoyed a hearty lunch of homemade soup. Her energy and enthusiasm were as infectious as last time. Highly recommend giving this a try.

A one day workshop to create a coloured glass column, and what a good day it was. The workshop is in Karen’s lovely garden where there are so many examples of her excellent work. (So useful to get ideas when designing our own column) Karen is such a good teacher and explained everything so well and made time to help all of us when we needed it.
The day included lunch and at the end I took home my creation which I am so pleased with.

Absolutely fantastic day from time of arrival learnt how to cut glass solder and construct my own personal column Karen is such an inspiring helpful knowledgeable lady with a bubbly personality excellent teacher and made a lovely lunch , plus tea and biscuits provided throughout day will definitely go again
