Awful

Awful. Verification failed three times. Kroo bank, who rely on them, used it as excuse to freeze the account so all payments failed going into and out of the account. If negative marks could be given, I would give that instead.

Absolute rubbish application

Absolute rubbish application. My android phone just showed a black screen where the rectangle was, so I was snapping in the dark and re-doing the photo several times.
Banks that use this app to get there identification proof must be desperate and running on a shoestring to continue with such a rubbish app.

This is a nightmare

This is a nightmare. Spent over 6 hours trying to verify my identity. ' Hold still' It dosent matter how still you hold the camera, it is still not enough. This must be some of the worst crap on internet.

Submitting Photographed Document Failed and Failed and Failed ...

Successfully took a photo of a document with the camera app on my phone, but when the camera app automatically closed there was nothing on my phone, and, on the Web page on my PC screen linked to it for the verification, nothing changed; just the following message, stuck there: 'Connected to your mobile
Once you’ve finished we’ll take you to the next step

What a nightmare

What a nightmare, documentation and evidence send that has been sold and certified for years ... not good enough for these characters. So you try their take a picture. Which fails , then you take another , and it fails , so you try a different document and it fails.

Please dont use this crap.

Sorry, when I write this in german language:
Point 1: I have ordered same meals. (My bank account is actually okay) by lieferando in munich. But first i have to posted a foto from my pass???. I´m 66 year old and this was very difficult for me: hip and hap.
Point 2: The same procedere by DM (this is a drogist in munich).
By the way, for me is this really confusing. Klarna is not a help, forget it.
Resultats: I can`t ordered a meal nor by anything by DM. Very pity

Horrendous Software!! Like everyone else I have tried…

Like everyone else, I have tried unsuccessfully to upload ID for banking purposes with more than one bank using this awful Onfido software. If you have an Android phone (as probably half the population do) the Onfido verify system probably wont work for you. I've wasted 4 hrs trying to upload photos and have now waited over an hour on the phone for their tek team (still waiting). I wonder how many banks have lost out on millions in investments, because potential customers have gone elsewhere, to banks etc who have ID verifying that actually works.

Useless

Ive been trying from 17.00 hours to 02.00 to have my identity varified for car finance by this crappy software. Feel like telling VW where they can drive their car. Tried on two Android mobiles and also starting the process on my desktop. Near impossible to take a photo of driving licence or selfie. on one occation I manage to upload a photo of driving licence but then when I took a selfie it locked out and stated "there has been an error". Photo I uploaded has disappeared. Each time software crashes I have to wait an hour to retry. Totally frustrated.

Can you make it any more diffcult!

"providing a first-class customer experience for car buyers" - This it does not do. Most frustrating process I have gone through in many years and I am technically literate. Locks you out and tells you to come back in an hour and then locks you out for another hour. Using android and online other users are saying it only works with apple products and impossible to upload images of ID. An afternoon wasted trying! I see they do not respond to reviews, maybe they know what its really like.

When verifying my account

When verifying my account, the first page said I needed to take a selfie, and it asked to assign the camera on my phone, front or back. But instead, they didn't ask for a selfie, but a copy of my ID, and it was impossible to change the camera setup. No matter how hard I tried, it said my ID photo was blurry. I filled in the form on their website asking how I could reset the camera. Instead, I immediately got what appeared to be an automated reply that had nothing to do with my question. And it got worse. I can't believe companies use the services of Onfido.

Verifying on Revolut is a nightmare

Verifying my id card on Revolut is a nightmare. Constantly giving me errors because my head went out of the oval when it wasn't. It had troubles detecting my head because of my hair, but what can I do ?
Please fix your system.

Can't take pictures

It would be helpful if ya'll told folks that the app only works on Apple apps. I wasted so much time trying to take a photo on my android phone and windows laptop.

This doesn't work -- I tried to get…

This doesn't work -- I tried to get authenticated for a CIBC savings account offer but the Onfido process kept insisting it needed camera access even though access was enabled -- I checked my phone permissions twice, closed all other apps, closed all bubbles, yada yada, I even restarted everything from scratch using a different browser, but it just wouldn't work -- I eventually gave up in frustration and CIBC lost the business.

Poor system and frustrating to use as a customer - do not recommend companies use this

Poor system. Tried to upload ID and photo and it came up with:
‘You have exceeded the maximum number of authentication attempts and cannot try again’.
We had only tried once! Then it kept blocking us saying access forbidden by the server. Then ‘something went wrong’. Had to get several links and 48 hours later we finally got ID verified and documents signed.

About Pets4home review on trustpilot :
Fishing for my ID real life photo of my face and my eye pupil and my bank statement . Then I complained to ICO / ombudsman / trading standard for breaching GDPR for keeping all above and refusing to delete them .
Then they now confess they given all above to 3rd party and unable to retrieve neither delete.

Update :
Onfido has a bad review on trustpilot .please everyone go have a look there also . Pets4home now insist on keeping 1 my studnet ID 2: a real life photo of my face and my eyes . 3 they told me it’s out of their control . Onfido is beyond their reach to delete those data of mine . They intend to keep them FOREVER .

I have reported Pets4home to ICO government . Now ICO told me they’ll lodge this complaint and deal with this asap .

Basically as you can see what Pets4home says below :
Nothing they can do .
Nothing they can delete .
They refuse to delete
They given my data and your data to some company called Onfido .
They can’t even reach Onfido to delete your data .
They were even asking me for my passport photo and bank statements further .

Good luck everyone . Don’t let strangers steal your data and keep them forever .
All they can do is just like below :

We can not retrieve
We can’t delete .

Pets4home seemingly has no boss no owner no CEO
Only 1 employee called David .

Unable to recognize documents

Terrible experience, unfortunately nowadays many companies use these "intelligent services" that are unable to recognize a valid document. Took a scan of a document together and front was ok but back not, how can it be?? A waste of time!
Company should stop using these kind of "services". Also who know what these 3rd party services do with our IDs....

Tried to use this to open a banking…

Tried to use this to open a banking account which required verification. First part okay, but not easy first time, then last part doesn't work. No explanantion, no alternative. Gave up, and just hope my information is kept safe. Won't work with any business using it in future.

I'm trying to verify my binance account…

I'm trying to verify my binance account for two days now. The camera gets really bad when Onfido starts. It would be much easier if I could just upload a photo or, at least, if I could be able to take a photo with the normal quality of my camera with onfido.
