I’ve been using OneSignal’s free plan…

I’ve been using OneSignal’s free plan for almost 18 months, mainly for push notifications. For my needs, it has been more than perfect. It works great for our small app, and even with nearly 2,000 subscribers, the free plan has been a reliable and effective solution. So far, it fully meets our requirements without needing to upgrade.

They do not care about their users

Got charged despite cancellation

Got charged despite cancellation. Avoid at all cost! Their SDK does not function properly. They haven't added anything. The company seems all but defunct. Yet, they decided to double the subscription cost. And, charged despite cancellation.

Do not integrate their services!

Do not integrate their services! We have been integrated with them for years using their "Unlimited Free" push notifications. Sales people shut our service down because we didn't want to be forced into calls about paying for services we can't afford. If you are thinking about integrating, then DONT. This is false advertising and unethical business practices. I never expected something like this from such a large partner.

Greedy company

Greedy company. Payed $200, after moving to MAU based pricing (accidentally cancelled subscription and renewed) costs became $2000. Ridiculous pricing. Also our users complained about not not delivered notifications all the way

BAD EXPERIENCE WITH SUPPORT.BAD SOLUTION

The support is made up of BOTS that send you the same response.
Very bad experience.they send you documentation links that you respect and it doesn't work.you come back and they answer you after 3 hours with the same first question.
There's no support, it's just misconfigured BOTs plus questions.
You're going to waste your time. A lot of maketing for nothing, the solution doesn't work.

complete waste of time.

The support experience with OneSignal has been extremely frustrating. I had to go through verification with two different people, answering the same questions twice. Even after all that, they required me to create an email template so they could review it. Despite this, my account still hasn't been verified, and they've ignored all my messages on live support. I only have 30 subscribers, so this level of hassle seems unnecessary. Additionally, the platform itself has constant issues—it logs me out every minute and frequently displays errors like "Something went wrong while fetching your segments. Please try again."

Overall, using OneSignal feels like a complete waste of time.

Awful support

Awful support. They decided to give an excuse of why I didn't receive any support, instead of actually replying to my question. If this is the case, then just disable the live support chat. It have been 4 days...

And the fun part was I first got replied "(...) Thank you for your patience, someone from our team will assist you ASAP!" and then hours, one day after I asked for an update. No replies another day. Before I wrote my disappointment and received a message that they don't offer support outside their own documentation and that I can hire someone from UpWork to help me. wth? It was just a simply question documented already in their documentation.

They've made a very bad impression on me. I don't think I want to stick with them further.

I've used OneSignal for 4 years for my business. It was easy to implement (took me less than 30 mins to setup) and I built a few automated messages for every new user and to re-engage existing users.

It's incredible product for a great price. Thank you!

NEVER USE THEM ...SECURITY ZERO

Never use their services, in case of hack of your Onesignal account, you will have no support and they don't have any kind of protection against a unkown ip or different logins and basically attackers goes to your account change password ,transfer applications without one email to owner and then start spamming your users with notifications while you can't do anything.
in the end support doesn't exists . app gets completely ruined.
while you can't do anything except watching.
as i have seen i am not the only one who faced this .

BE VERY CAREFUL.
