Amazing experience
It was my first official experience with CBT therapy and Sadia did an amazing job. Going through a challenging time is not easy for me, but with Sadia’s help from different angles, I’m able to overcome sadness, anxiety, fears, and eventually gain confidence and self-esteem. I start to feel more hopeful and more positive than before the therapy. I know without her help, it wouldn’t be the same. So loads of thanks to Sadia!

I recently underwent 4 months of intensive CBT therapy with Jan Carlton. I find it hard to articulate the mind blowing improvement in my overall mental health. I feel re-born, Jan provided a lifeline for me at the worst possible period of time in my life. Through a series of well thought out sessions involving deep probing heart searching conversations and associated homework - gradually I started to think, act and react differently. I can't thank Jan enough for the time she spent with me. I feel excited to move on through the next chapter of my life with a renewed sense of belonging and self worth. If you find yourself in a hard place I can only hope you are fortunate enough to be matched with someone like Jan to help you find your way through the jungle of negativity and find yourself once more.
Therapy that finally felt different
I had therapy sessions with Christine that truly helped me overcome my anxiety and depression. I’ve had therapy before, but this was the first time I finished with such a strong sense of positivity. The tools Christine introduced were absolute game changers, and her empathetic, supportive approach made all the difference. My experince with onebright was a positive one, my therapist Mirco was incredibly professional and understanding and he gave me some great tools to enable me to better manage my mental health and helped me work through issues with respect and care.
Therapy
I did three months of therapy with Jennifer Rose and she helped me so unbelievably much. Feeling happy and at peace had become seemingly unobtainable before I got therapy and Jennifer helped me to understand and validate my emotions. I looked forward to our sessions every week and I am beyond grateful for her :)
Sue Marsh was great!
Sue Marsh was really great at helping me process my trauma, as well as giving me loads of resources and advice that helped me through my trauma and will continue to help me even after having finished the therapy.
Excellent Service All-round.
Every aspect of the service with Onebright has been brilliant, from the initial outreach to the assigning of a therapist to the therapy sessions themselves.
The team were great at staying in contact, advising of upcoming appointments and in handling queries on the odd times at the start when I had some (getting used to the process).
The therapist I was lined up with was brilliant; very kind, very thoughtful - took the time to listen and interact with all my chatter in a meaningful way - they weren't simply a static face on the other end of the screen.
If you're contemplating any form of therapy I can wholeheartedly recommend it - and Onebright for providing it. I never thought I would be in a position to need it, but here I was and I have to say, it has helped immensely. If you are considering it, I would say Go for it.
CBT Therapy - Anxiety
Over the last 10 weeks I have had CBT therapy sessions with Miguel Izquier-Perez and I can categorically say he has opened a new way of thinking for myself. Giving me the tools to become my own therapist in managing my anxiety and stress. Every session felt like progress towards how I operate now and I recommend that anyone who is going through similar issues tries CBT therapy as is really does make you think in a different way.
Empathetic experience
My son has been receiving therapy with Olivia M, and it has been a genuinely positive experience. She is patient, gentle, and very attuned to his needs. He always felt comfortable in her sessions, which made a real difference. I also appreciated how accommodating she was with our schedule and how she took the time to explain things clearly. Overall, her support has been steady and reassuring, and I’m grateful for the care she has shown him.

Excellent and compassionate care
Sue Marsh was an excellent therapist. She was kind, patient, compassionate and understanding. She really helped me with my mental health and left me with a great plan to help me going forward after our sessions had finished. Onebright were also great to deal with when I needed to move a session when I wasn't well. Really great service all around, 10/10!
CBT therapy
Michaela was such a supportive therapist. Through the CBT sessions she helped me identify the issues and build in practical useful strategies to support my life. She was kind, caring, listened to my thoughts and dealt with my issues sensitively and with empathy. Thank you for helping me get my life back.
Might as well have used the NHS mental health service
Finally plucked up the courage to ask for mental health support, got offered an appointment to be assessed today. Got the SMS notification, filled in the questionnaire with some really hard to admit information, waited patiently for the call that never came.
Phoned them to ask why, only to be told the person doing the appointment had cancelled and instead of notifying me and assigning it to be rearranged, they assigned it to someone who was out of office leaving me with yet another experience of the system failing to actually care or deliver the “help and support” that they advertise.
If I’d wanted to feel worse than I already do I’d have stuck with the NHS community mental health services.
