I had an amazing experience with Omer Istanbul from start to finish. The entire team was professional, welcoming, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process.

Totally satisfied with the service from the beginning. was initially contacted by an employee called Merve and she followed me up to the end, always available. My transport to the clinic and back to the airport was organized and so was accommodation. This was Very useful. My translater Shirley was also very helpful. My allocated dentist was Esma and she is highly skilled and everything went well with my crowns and implants. Highly recommend.

About Omer Istanbul Dental Center, or Dental Clinic, as called in other sites. They have a great score on google maps because most of the low score reviews, like mine, are rejected by the system! They hide the comments of people whose treatments went terribly wrong…
After i wrote a bad review in other platform that allowed me to describe the issues i had with my treatment I start receiving a lot of messages via WhatsApp from the clinic with questions pretending they were trying to find a solution. First they assured they were going to return the extra cost 450€ I had in Portugal to remake the retention they destroyed and they would arrange everything for a full checkup. But after sending the receipts has they requested they changed their mind and told me I would loose the warranty of my treatment if I didn’t delete the review. I said I wouldn’t delete it because I had the right to make a review and it just described what happened with me, so future patients could be informed. They are not serious, they just want to continue attracting tourists to keep the business flowing. I also found other comments of patients with treatments that went really wrong, just search on internet.
I’ve done 19 veneers and 1 crown. 2 months after the treatment I still feel a lot of pain every time I eat or drink. The preparation for the veneers consisted in shaving and reducing the teeth to apply the veneers, but the teeth lost their protection and got very fragile. The final result is beautiful but I used to have healthy teeth before and now I’m always afraid of the pain I will feel before eating a meal…
They don’t care about side effects. If you have a complex treatment don’t make it here, complex crowns, implants or root canal demand waiting weeks or months between appointments, they do everything in a week then there are complications. The issues with my treatment:
-a lot of pressure to decide, they say they have a special price but only if you decide in the same day, and they have other people interested that will take your place. They keep sending you messages via WhatsApp saying the other clinics are bad and Omer is the best.
-appointments always late. I had to wait between 30minutes and 2 hours on all the visits. Doctors with a lot of patients, sometimes leaving me in the room to treat another patient.
-all contacts are made with a translator, so on the night I put the veneers I sent a message with a photo telling my translator to tell the doctor one veneer was not aligned with the others. She didn’t tell the doctor, so the last day of treatment they said unfortunately they couldn’t make another veneer because it was my last day in Istambul.
-they removed my retention, they only said they would do it when I was in the clinic, not when they sent me the plan treatment, and it was possible to see it in the photos I sent. Result, I had to pay 450€ more when I got in Portugal to make a new one.
-the last appointment they were on a rush not opening well the space between teeth to use dental floss and not explaining how I should floss, was explained here in my doctor in Portugal.
-have in mind that if you have any problem later, they might accept to fix it but all costs to go to the clinic are at your own.
They give 10 years warranty on the material of the veneers, but it’s useless because if you have a problem with one veneer it’s cheaper to correct it in your country than go back to Istanbul for a few days paying airplane tickets, hotel, meals and taking days off from work.
Sometimes what looks cheaper is really expensive! Search and analyze information very well before choosing Omer Dental Clinic!

Very bad experience and quality had crowns put in not even 2 months later bottom row fell out messaged them on WhatsApp no reply went to a dentist in Sydney for better review and the crowns they put in was the cheapest quality with cheapest glue method highly not recommended

From the day I made my first inquiry to the last day when the crowns were set this was an incredible experience. I will admit coming from the United States to Turkey to get this done made me a bit scared. But once I was here the staff put any fear I had to rest. Their professionalism and attention to detail was incredible. Working with Taylan each day was as smooth and professional as anything I could have done back home. He made sure all of my questions were answered, relayed any messages from the doctors that I wasn’t understanding, and followed up with me each evening to see how I was doing. I ended up with 4 extractions, 6 root canals, and 28 crowns. Each step of the way the care was amazing and my comfort was the number one priority. As we got done with the dental work and moved into the crowns and placement the doctors attention to detail impressed me. I was happy with the way they looked the first time they were put in but they were not satisfied and took the time and made sure each detail was perfect. I could not be more thankful and appreciative of how they took care of me. There is no way to put into words my true appreciation of the way they took care of me and I can already feel the confidence rising as I no longer have to feel ashamed of my smile. I would recommend them to anyone who is interested. The savings from traveling here compared to the states was incredible. Even with my flights it was close to only 25% of the cost back home.

✈️ Arriving Alone in a New Country

Travelling to Istanbul by myself for such a huge procedure was terrifying. But the clinic made sure I never truly felt alone. I received step-by-step videos showing exactly where to go at the airport, which felt like someone holding my hand from miles away.

My hotel was central, clean, safe, and close to everything and Rhita checked in constantly to make sure I was okay. That level of kindness stays with you, especially in a foreign place.

🦷 My First Day at the Clinic

Walking into the clinic, I immediately felt something unexpected comfort. The team didn’t feel like staff; they felt like a family. Even though the place was busy, everyone welcomed me with genuine warmth. As someone alone and nervous, that meant more than I can describe.

My translator, Magnus was my rock from day one. Calm, gentle, reassuring he guided me through every step with patience and kindness.

After full scans and X-rays, it became clear that more work was needed than originally planned:
28 crowns, 10 root canals, and 3 extractions.
It was overwhelming, but the honesty behind the recommendation gave me confidence to move forward.

😔 The Hardest Night

I want to be honest the first night after all the major work was very emotional. I cried. I bled. I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognise myself. I felt alone, scared, and for a moment, I regretted everything.

But the next morning, temporary crowns were fitted, and for the first time, I could see a glimpse of the future. A glimpse of the smile I had dreamed of for years. And slowly, hope replaced fear.

My dentist,Dr. Armağa was extraordinary. A true artist. A perfectionist. A man who treated my mouth not as a job, but as a craft. Every time I panicked, he reassured me. Every time I doubted, he explained. Every time I asked for honesty, he gave it.

And Magnus… what can I say? He was always there, day or night, checking on me, answering every message, every fear, every tiny question. He made the whole experience feel safe.

✨ The Final Day And My New Smile

On the last day, when the final crowns were fitted, I couldn’t believe the reflection staring back at me. My smile looked like me just better. Natural, soft, elegant, exactly what I had prayed for. I am still a little sore and sensitive, but that is normal after so much work in such a short time.

What matters is the result:

Came in with my wife and decided to take an X ray of my teeth. Got a professional advice to align my teeth. They did 27 crowns , 7 root canal treatments and 3 teeth ( wisdom)extraction .

First Visit

Visited Omer Istanbul during my trip in Oct to begin my process, and can say the process was very smooth and the team was very caring and helpful. Magnus the translator was very nice and communicated very well during and after my visit and he ensured me notes are in the system for my second visit. Hatice was great on the front end and help prep me for my visit. The dentists, surgeon and hygienists I worked with all were amazing and caring. Only item I can say that needs to improve was the appointments process, times and dates changed due to how busy the place was.
I am now back home and recovering and providing Magnus feedback so some of the adjustments can be made when I go back in Feb to get my implants put in.

Will provide an update with my final thoughts once I complete all the work in feb.

I can’t say enough about Omer Istanbul dental. They looked after me from start to finish. They went above and beyond my expectation. Dr Habib Asian is a genius at his field. His work is exceptional. Not forgetting my assistant Pinar Aygun and Mucahit who was there every step of the way and helped me when my bank froze my card.
