Had no idea the dress was coming from China. Was cheap quality so needed to return it. Was told I had to mail it to China which would cost me as much as the dress. They gave me option 2: keep the cheap dress (i will never wear), and get 75%/$26 off of another item in which will be just as cheap that I don't want and will pay for shipping/. AND, youare not able to return this item/Final sale. They are a SCAM - as bad as TEMU!!

Not only did I get scammed into buying something that isn’t actually the product, I stupidly paid 40 dollars to return it and when it got to china, no one picked it up and it got sent back to me. I’m so disappointed and angry. A total scam. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!

Stay away from Olivia Johnsen! I ordered a coat for my son for Christmas. It didn't arrive until well after New Year's. And it was way too small. When I tried to let them know I needed to return the item, they sent return options including that I had to pay the return costs to send it back. Ok fine. I am legally blind, and take the bus with the coat packaged to return to China only to find out the return cost was almost entirely what I paid for the item! So now I'm stuck with a 30% refund to not return the item or 75% store credit that I will NEVER use! I will never order from them again!

Scam site without accountability with their customer service. Prepare yourself to file a charge back if you buy anything from them.

If I could give zero stars, I would.
Olivia Johnsen is absolutely insufferable. I bought an evening dress and even did a quick Google to check they were legit. At the time, their website listed a Melbourne storefront and a phone number, which gave me confidence that if the dress didn’t fit or wasn’t as pictured, I could return it. I was wrong.
When I checked delivery, the estimated arrival was weeks away. Alarm bells. I emailed immediately to say it wouldn’t arrive in time for my event and asked for return instructions. They sent them along with the usual “you pay return shipping” nonsense, which I reluctantly accepted.
Then I saw the return address: Shenzhen, China. That’s when I lost it. Why on earth would a “Melbourne” brand require me to ship an unopened parcel all the way to China? (And that Melbourne storefront has since mysteriously vanished from my searches.)
After two months of chasing and getting nowhere, they finally claimed it was “stuck in customs.” which meant they wouldn’t collect the dress from their end! So here I am: out of pocket for the dress, out of pocket for international postage, and with no dress. Who drew the short stick? Me.
I’ve wasted enough time on this. A scam from start to finish. Do not buy from them. You’ve been warned.
Order was late and tracking did not work. Jacket was not quality. When I tried, multiple times, to return, the company would not reply. Do not order from them!
Clothes did not match description. It is another cheap chinese brand. The dress was ok but not like the photo
I wish I could give zero stars. I ordered an item from this company and the quality was absolutely disgusting — cheap, bad quality, and nothing like what was shown online. I later found the exact same item on Temu for $10, which says it all.
When I contacted them for a refund, they told me to return it to China — even though their website made it look like an Australian business. I paid a significant amount to ship it back, only to discover three months later that the parcel is still sitting in customs because the company hasn’t bothered to provide the required release documentation.
Now they’re saying they’ll only refund me 50% and won’t do anything until they “receive” the package — which they never will, since customs are literally waiting on them. It’s a complete nightmare, and their so-called “support” team keeps giving scripted, useless replies.
Do yourself a favour and do not order from this company. They are dishonest, unhelpful, and seem to be running a refund scam. Save your money and shop elsewhere.
This company is a total scam. Women’s sizing on men’s items and my item arrived postage due. They told me I could return my jacket at my expense. Don’t trust them at all
I ordered a jacket and when it arrived it was misshapen and unwearable. I returned and followed up for many months and was told it was stuck in customs in China. Finally they agreed on a 50% refund and 50% store credit and I am still waiting for the refund.
If I could give a 0 I would - ordered a dress and got an email back saying they are out of stock and they will refund me THEY NEVER DID- I have emailed them over 40 times for the last 2 months and still haven’t have a reply
If I could give them a zero I would. The dress does not match the description or website image. It literally looks like I bought it from Temu or SHEIN. At least if I bought it from them I probably would’ve paid $10 which is what it should retail for!! It doesn’t even have tags on it mentioning size or care intructions. It looks like a piece of material. Definitely not worth the $75 price tag.
I am sorry to say this is a scam. I ordered a wool blend product, and got very poorly tailored polyester. Do not order from these company.
Scam. It’s been over a month and the item is still yet to arrive. Item is coming directly from china and I very much suspect the quality will not match the price if it ever arrives
This is a scam company, the items provided do not match the pictures, it looks like they are shipping clothing from Temu or Shein but at a premium cost, when requesting a monetary credit they refuse stating they can only supply a site credit. Why would I want to buy any more of their rubbish?
This website is a scam.
I bought a pair of sneakers. Paid 100$. The size was too small even though I ordered a size up.
I paid 37$ postage just to return it to China and its been more than a month since I posted it, yet there's ppno news of any refund. Tracking says its reached China 25 days ago.
They mentioned their company address in Collins Street, Melbourne. We went there thinking I'll purchase it from the store if possible. There is no sign of any Olivia Johnsen there.
Now they have changed their address to somewhere in Singapore.
They keep changing their "company address" but they ship from China.
I bought a pair of linen pants XXL for my husband they are so tiny!!!! A size 8 lady cant even pull them up over her hips very disappointed they where on sale so offerred me a refund after complaining but they need to be sent to a weird address in china so I have binned them.... $80 down the drain
very poor
I ordered pants that were denim; but instead receive polyester (instead of denim) ones. They were on sale so, I was told tough luck. Amazingly, the polyester ones were much cheaper on the website and they would not even reimburse the difference. I never would buy these in polyester. It left me thinking that the ones in denim were never 100% denim...but website says "denim".
Also, they came with a smell of a china factory. No labels and very very cheaply constructed. They are basically trash pants now.
Never buy from this site, I think it is a front for cheap China-fast fashion.
The whole transaction was wrong from the start to finish. No one doesn't offer you no refunds by law here in Australia when paying for goods and having a receipt.
They claim to have a shop in Melbourne CBD, and they do not. I found out later that they reside in China. Even their contact number is not an Australian one.
Customer Service conversations took very long to get back to me when asking questions about the garments, such as what colour the coat was when it looked grey on their website, yet was beige and whether the red or the tweed jacket had pockets.
I had asked them where their shop was located and was never told.
Everything I purchased when receiving looked nothing like their dolled-up photos on their Website, which should be SHUT DOWN. Again a ploy to suck you in. Be careful and remember when 'it's too good to be true, it usually isn't'.
They offer a 'count down timer' to buy other crappy quality garment at heavily discounted prices.
Then they tell you that they won't refund, but instead give you a credit. Who wants a credit to play the cat and mouse game with them and keep on receiving rubbish?
When I received the 2 x orders of clothing, they were terrible in quality and size. I cried.
Stupidly, I went to the post office and spent $72.30 to return everything, only to be shocked it was in CHINA!!! That's when my stomach turned, and I knew I was scammed. Customer Service 'so graciously' apologised, stipulating that they can't return on SALE items, yet ironically EVERYTHING on their WEBSITE is on SALE.
How dodgy is that? You can't win this. They have received all their items back from me.
BUYERS BE AWARE: Don't transact without using PayPal to get a refund.
Shame on them for selling bad quality goods with Chinese small sizing that don't fit the typical Westerners.
I bought a pyjama set that was advertised as 100% silk.
The product arrived today and is total trash that could have been bought on Temu. The tag also says 65% polyester and 35% cotton... neither of which are silk?? Extremely disappointing.
