The toecaps of the shoes did not match.
Also, their tan colour had a circular faded area the size of a penny on the left shoe at the side rear.

Where is your quality control here?

Great service and laces

Mixed feelings about Oliver Sweeney. While the styles are appealing and some customer service staff go above and beyond, quality control seems inconsistent. A £100 pair of shoes had durability issues after one wear, with disappointing responses to complaints. Still, there are instances of excellent assistance, depending on the staff member handling inquiries.

Recently bought a pair of their Landa Chocolate Suede Moccasin Slippers. The after care was excellent, second to none. ..Thanks to Ridian

Not sure where they bought my details from but they send unsolicited junk mail, disgusting behaviour and so wasteful.

Got a reply and as per usual with these unscrupulous companies they expect me to jump through hoops to stop them causing more harm to the environment.

The company has replied, after asking for my details, the still expect me to jump though hoops to stop this pointless junk mail being sent out. Claiming the catalog is recyclable is a sad attempt to hide the cost to the environment. The damage done by printing, shipping and the recycling process is permanent.

The customer service is second to none as you would expect from a premium brand. I will be ordering a lot more from this brand. The quality of the products are of the highest quality.

Always impressed with the Sweeney products.... pure excellence in clothing and footwear..... not massively expensive but good value for monies paid.
Will always shop with them as a company providing the quality products stay the same ..... which I'm sure they will. You have a customer for life !!!

I’ve brought several pairs of shoes from Oliver Sweeney over the years and all I can say is there customer service is the best I’ve ever encountered.
There products are some of the best shoes / trainers I’ve ever owned, quality, comfortable , stylish and extremely very hard wearing.
I returned a pair recently as they were slightly to tight but once again there customer care was there instantly with a link to download the returns label.
I can’t praise them enough, ive had OS shoes for many years and many more years to come.

I ordered the Adige Khaki shoes after seeing my friend with them and being very impressed! They were on sale and a reasonable price for the great shoe I’d seen.

Sadly, mine arrived last week with a sizeable split in the sole on both shoes with it more pronounced on one. This is either a defect or even more concerning: false advertising, as the images online for this item seem to have digitally smoothed the area of the split.

I have contacted Oliver Sweeney’s customer support by email and by phone (although I was unable to get through to them as many on here have pointed out). I await their response.

I am not impressed by this build quality and hope they rectify this.

Ordered a pair of brown shoes, delivery was quick but wrong shoes arrived. I’ve sent an email, tried to contact customer services by phone (keep getting answer machine) but no response. Tried following their refund/return process but surprisingly this does not work either. Quality shoes they may be but customer services are very disappointing!

I recently ordered two 100% Merino Wool Roll Neck Jumpers (model Treath) from Oliver Sweeney, taking advantage of a 35% discount. The original price was 129 GBP (182 EUR) per jumper.

Delivery to the EU was quite fast and smooth by DHL. Though the price for each garment was about 20-30 EUR higher than in GBP.

Fabric Quality:
The fabric, stated to be from the Zegna Baruffa Mill, is quite fine and feels sturdy and a bit harder compared to other merino knitwear I own in the same price range or even lower. While the fabric quality appears decent, only time will tell how well it holds up with wear. That said, I prefer softer merino wool, which makes this fabric feel just "good" rather than exceptional.

Fit and Design:
One of the highlights is the fit - size M is perfect for tall individuals like me (190 cm) with long arms. The slim shape and overall proportions are well-executed, and the longer sleeves are a big plus.

Finishing and Labeling Issues:
Unfortunately, the finishing quality leaves much to be desired:
- Loose threads are present on every second hem (bottom, cuffs, neck), which is unacceptable at this price point.
- The sewn-in labels (at the center back and inside side seam) are made of itchy, plastic-like material. This cheapens the experience and makes the garment uncomfortable to wear without modification.
- Removing the labels is unnecessarily difficult. While the care label was easy to remove, the brand logo label on the side seam was sewn into the main seam and had very sharp edges, making it unbearable to wear. Removing it without damaging the garment was quite a challenge.

Final Thoughts:
I decided to keep the rollnecks because of their good fit and long sleeves, which are rare to find. After removing all the labels and fixing the loose threads, the pieces became wearable. However, the lack of attention to detail in finishing, the itchy and poorly attached labels, and the omission of the garment's country of origin on the label reflect negatively on the overall experience.

For now, I’d rate these jumpers a 3.5 out of 5 but round it up to 4 stars in the hope that Oliver Sweeney will address these minor yet important issues. With better finishing and more thoughtful label design, these garments could be truly outstanding.

Bought the Lerwick boots in the Boxing Day sales. £179. Not cheap even in a sale, so they should be good right?
No. Clearly a previously returned pair as packaged with torn up tissue paper, protective card not in place between the boots and the cloth bag screwed up down the side. On inspection, clear why they have probably been returned…adhesive smeared around the inside soles. Terrible quality for such a pricey pair of boots.
It seems to me that Oliver Sweeney may sell ‘seconds’ in their sale and don’t tell you hoping you won’t notice. I’ve asked to return them and won’t be buying any more from here. Premium brand persona, sweat shop manufacture. Sorry Sweeney, really really not impressed. First impressions and all that.
