Extremely Disappointed

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I ordered 3 cds and a double movie on April 4th of the legend DMX. I didn't look for it anywhere else because I had already ordered everything I wanted. Kept checking said order was being processed then 3 weeks later order was canceled. I was really upset because unfortunately DMX got his wings "R.I.P" so now everything is so overpriced. I want be using this site again and will make sure my friends read the reviews that I wish I had done. Really disappointed

Super disappointed

I had a good experience with my first order so I made larger order the 2nd time. This was in March 2021. I got the free shipping, which took forever, and that wouldn't have been an issue except I was shipped something I did not order by mistake and didn't get one of the records I paid for. Ok, it happens. It was difficult to reach a human to speak to about this but when I finally did I was informed I would need to send back the mistake before they would do anything on their side to correct it for me. They provided a shipping label and I returned the item. It has now been over 9 days since the item I was shipped by mistake was received back by them. I called a few days ago to ask about my refund, as the item I had originally ordered and was not shipped is no longer in stock. The rep I spoke to said she was putting a rush on my refund. It is now April 22 2021. Still no refund. I definitely have no trust left in their processes at this point. Super unfriendly business practices. It's a shame because the selection is very very good but don't fall for it!! You will be filled with regret and sadness.

Thanks for nothing

Customer service is non existent. Had to follow up after almost a whole month with an order status just stating “Pending,” the next day my order was cancelled without explanation. Just offer some courtesy of reaching out saying why you can’t fulfill an order or why it took you a month to cancel it, bush league at best.

This company has the most terrible…

This company has the most terrible service i have ever experienced and their reps have no patience with the customers they got short fuses and attitudes and will hang up on you in a heart beat I been trying to set up a wholesale account for a month but has not been able to talk to the individual thats over wholesale they are never available there is no way this many people have got good experiences. These reps act like they don't care if they get your business or not if you order from their site you will eventually get your order after waiting for all cds you order to arrive in their inventory and that can be a long process also. It took me almost 3 weeks to get 15 cds. The bottom line is if this company didn't have a hard to get product they would have been out of BUSINESS long ago.

I ordered just under $100 of Football…

I ordered just under $100 of Football CD's as they seemed to be a good deal priced. A couple weeks later the package arrived with 3 CD's missing. I called and waited forever for someone to pick up. Then she said "The Cowboys CD is out of stock, but the others should have shipped". I said "You knowingly shipped my order without a CD and no expansion?" And charged me anyway? She ignored me and said Bernie or Ernie would need to call me back. He never did. By reading these complaints it seems obvious this company sends you whatever they have or what ever they want to send and keep your money to deal / ignore the issues later. Very disappointed.

Charge first, ship whenever, follow through never

I ordered 27 vinyl LP's on March 7. My credit card was charged on March 9. Additional charges were made on March 12, and as of March 27 I have received a grand total of 5 of the 27 LP's I ordered. Those 5 came in two boxes, and each box had a printed notice saying any parts of the order that had not shipped would not be charged until they were shipped. THIS IS A LIE. This company takes the money up front, then meanders through putting purchased items into boxes for eventual shipment. I am going to call my credit card company and charge back those albums that have not been shipped and made a complaint to BBB. There are too many online retailers selling the exact same product to put up with Oldies.com dismal customer support. Never again.

Great selection and service

Great selection and service! I take care of my eldest brother who has cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair and he is always getting me to look up and order things from Oldies.com and he loves listening to his plethora of oldies CDs!

Avoid please read the over all reviews.

I was not going to give a review as I am patient decent person I thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I spent a total of $1157.62 at Oldies.com the worst thing is they syphoned another $181.91 so the total was $1339.53 I had to change my bank account details so no more money would be taken out without my permission I asked for an explanation on this numerous times the first time I rang I was being totally polite the lady hung up on me the customer service is appalling except for one man I spoke to partially sorted my order. Overall I ordered 142 DVD'S which I will give them some credit I got 136 delivered out of the 142 I have been emailing & emailing about the missing 6 DVD'S no reply. I was going to order a lot more probably a few thousand dollars worth but after this I cannot do it & will find an alternative source & I suggest if your an over seas customer watch they do not rip you of as I am pursuing this with N.S.W fair trading. Unfortunately what I thought would be a happy buying experience has been a bad one & they don't care at all.

ADMIT YOUR MISTAKES. DONT LIE TO CUSTOMERS.

I preordered an album on Jan 25 as a gift. Was told it would be in stock on Feb 5. Fast foreword to Feb 15 and Im emailing and callin frequently and no one returns my emails and people on the phone only tell me "it hasnt gone out yet" I see they have the item in stock and have nearly doubled the price. Yesterday they cancel the order because "the entire stocking shipment was damaged". But I saw they had them in stock a few weeks ago. I get that mistakes happen BUT I AM CLEARLY BEING LIED TO. adding insult to injury.

I love this website

I love this website. I prefer to buy movies and video games from small businesses. This is one of those websites that I think anyone that loves obscure media would love.

On a previous order, I had issues with a DVD-R product and they understood and sent out a new copy asap. A great place to shop.

Take your business somewhere else!

Take your business somewhere else! This company has no regard for customer service or communication. I happily ordered four records, gave my card info, and was told they'd ship in 3 to 5 business days. After nothing happened for 10 days while my order status remained "processing" on their site, I finally sent an email to check. At that point, they must have realized something fell through, and finally charged my card, but never bothered to reply and explain. 10 more days pass, and I get nothing. Order status still just says "processing," so I call, and am on hold for 25 minutes before finally giving up and writing another email. They then print a mailing label so they can change my order status to "shipped" that same day (I guess to shut me up) but still never reply. It takes another 7 days to actually send my order out, so that, finally, nearly a full month after placing my order, it arrives in good shape... except that it's only 3 out of 4 records! This was never communicated to me, and I was charged full price, including for the record that didn't arrive. I decide to again call, since the slip in the shipment indicated they didn't charge me for the record that went out of stock in the midst of their screwups, though my bank says otherwise. I finally reached a real person, who proceeded to tell me *I* was wrong, and rudely questioned what I was trying to explain. Finally, she says she'll pass it on to accounting, and here I am a few days later having finally received a refund for the overcharge. Long story short: this was by far the worst online retail experience I've had in a long time. I was trying to give business to a smaller retailer rather than Amazon, and this is the thanks I get: terrible service and zero communication, only delays and overcharges. I should have known to stick to thumbing through old record shops and supporting truly local businesses who care about their customers enough to be helpful and honest with them.

I can tell you that this is not a serious store. Its not the first time that the website doesnt deliver a lot of CDS that I bought and doesnt give a damn to me!!! You can contact them any times you want and they dont answer you and dont give you any kind of refund... Avoid!!!

Buyer Beware of Oldies.com

I ordered a movie the beginning of January and the movie was never shipped out to me, after many weeks of waiting. I then attempted to get my money back and cancelled the order and it is now about a month and I have NOT gotten my money returned to me. This was an absolute nightmare experience and I will NOT, NEVER, EVER, do business with these people again. It took 5 phone calls, very lengthy phone calls to try and get my money returned....Time will tell whether I actually receive it back or not.....buyer beware !!!

Two Month Saga Ends in Shady Excuses

Ordered (3) LPs $95+ on December 11th. All items indicated "IN STOCK". Credit Card was charged FULL AMOUNT. A few days later I notice the charge reversed and a smaller amount charged. Checked website, all items show & order processing. Waited a few days and emailed them, since I had not gotten a Text (their website allows you to sign up - but this is worthless.

I got an email back that (2) of the items were "Out of Stock" & (1) LP was being shipped and the others backordered.

January, no LP, February, no LP. I email again and get a response that my inquiry is being forwarded to a customer-service rep & I would receive a notice from them. Website still indicates full order being processed. No response after several days. I emailed again & immediately got an response telling me to call. I called and went through the menu system where they basically blame the Post Office, Covid, Weather, high volume and everything else on late shipments.

Finally reach a lady who tells me (2) of the LPs were "Out of Stock" & the (1) LP shipped. I said, I don't have it. She goes to look up the "tracking number" and with a muffled phone I hear her saying "oh my" "uh oh". She comes back and tells me that item was out of stock as well. I tell her it wasn't two months ago when I ordered or the two weeks later when I was told it was being shipped. She then read from a prepared statement telling me "quantities may not be accurate by the time your order reaches the warehouse". WHAT? I told her that was a BS inventory system for a distribution company. I said, so? No body informed me. Is the order cancelled then? She stumbled and finally said "yes." Refund?
She says it was issued on Feb 5th (the date of my previous email inquiry). It showed up today on my bank app, making me believe they processed it yesterday & it posted overnight.

I suspect had I not called, they would have kept the money and never informed me about the cancelled order.

Ridiculous, unprofessional, unethical. I'm not sure how they have stayed in business so long.

STAY AWAY.

Do not order anything from them!!!!!

This is one of the WORST shipping experiences ever that I had with a company EVER! They never shipped a CD I ordered until I contacted paypal to get my money back. They are atrocious and they DO NOT answer emails. Buyer Beware.
