I have bought some unique and lovely items from OKA
in the past, but I am very disappointed how they treated my order this time. I placed an order on 21th November (thinking I would be in time for Xmas), but then I received an email that one item was in stock on 13th December, then I received another email that another item was now available on 20th December. I called today (23rd) and was told one item was now not available until 17th January 2026 and that my order was "marked to be sent when all is complete." An internal instruction I assume. Why couldn't they told me this before; I now have missed Christmas. It is very bad customer service.

We visited the new Outlet at Bicester and we were pleasantly surprised how nice the store was and items were in very good order for an Outlet.
We purchased a couple of items and very happy with the reductions.

We often visit the outlet at Didcot and normally the service is very good. On my last visit it was not a pleasant one. I did make a purchase but the staff member who served me lacked customer service, and my purchase was nearly thrown at me, which as you can imagine is completely unacceptable. I think a course in customer service would be beneficial to this member of staff especially as in an assistant managerial role. And as we have shopped with Oka for many years either Froxfield or the outlet store, we have never experienced this bad service. Since this bad experience we have not been back to the outlet store, and that nothing has been done to invite me to shop at this store since.

My furniture arrived on time by OKA driver Kev from Didcot. He was extremely pleasant and friendly. He took great care unloading and putting together my console table and cleared away the wrappings. Overall great service.

Today i went to the outlet store in Didcot. I can’t thank Sarah and Ellie enough for helping me to find the perfect large rug for my bedroom. It fits perfectly and looks amazing. These ladies were professional, welcoming and they knew exactly how to add that finishing touch that has brightened up a once, rather dull bedroom. I didn’t feel like they were ‘selling’ at all, they were genuinely enthusiastic.

I placed an order for delivery. A few days later I received a voicemail saying that as they had not heard from me, my order would be removed. OKA had not previously contacted me to let me know a delivery date. I rang the office at 4:20pm. The delivery department was closed. I was assured they would call me first thing tomorrow. No call received. I called the following day and was assured they would call me. No call received. I finally received an email asking me to confirm a delivery date in 3 weeks. Still no call received. I sent an email of complaint. FOUR WEEKS later I finally received an email from Scott, the Customer Service Manager, asking if I was happy now my goods had arrived. The goods are great but the most appalling customer service from a company ever. Appalling communications and you take your customers for granted. customerservicefail
