Will i ever get a refund?

I cancelled an order and refund never came, when i chase the "customer" service, they said they emailed the store over a week ago and the store has not actioned.
I asked when this would be done and the response was "Once when they check there emails"
The refund is already late and i was told i had to chase the store as the "customer" service team said they have already done their job.
Thanks officeworks, it great to know you have done your part

Officeworks at Castle Hill team member…

Officeworks at Castle Hill team member had no knowledge or experience in taking passport photo for the purpose of the passport application. The photo came dark and had shades, for which i repeatedly asked if this was considered ok. She said with over confidence it was fine as it went through the right checks in the system. However the passport photo was rejected and I had to do it again at the Aus post. Waste of money and time. Train your staff better.

Do not use click and collect

Do not use click and collect . Lots of useless emails but none that say product is ready for collection even several days later. Local store won't answer and call centre won't accept there is a problem. Avoid.

Terrible customer service and unfit for business

Terrible customer service and unfit for business use.
I placed a business card order in the middle of the night, but then immediately noticed there was an error. So I looked up information on how to cancel my order, and it said I needed to call their customer service line at 8am. So the very next morning I rang them only to speak to endless brick walls of clueless staff telling me that the order is in progress thus cannot be canceled. But that's the thing - any self-respecting print service that caters to business has a degree of flexibility in modifying or canceling orders because every expense is valuable to small business. Furthermore, I contacted them first thing in the morning before any "production" could have begun - it seems to me that they have the means to cancel and modify orders but just choose not to, out of sheer disregard for customers. I am NEVER taking my business to Officeworks again. They are atrocious, they know it, but won't do a darn thing.

Wow!

Wow - placed a click and collect on a item that required special order - waited and waited - heard nothing - noticed price had been reduced on their website

Contacted customer support asking for an update on the order and if the price we paid can be adjusted to reflect the lower price - they just literally cancelled my order

Next day i got a txt from my local officeworks store - order has arrived - yet marked cancelled - 2 days i spent with customer service trying to reverse the cancellation - best response i got was they have contacted the store to check the item is actually there, and they will get in touch when the store responds to them....

I got bored with waiting - called the store direct myself, they had it, i explained what happened, no worries they said - honoured the lower website price, went in and paid cash

Ill think twice about involving customer support again

Branch & warehouse not on same page.

Ordered a click & collect Samsung Tablet, all went well then within an hour received call saying the only one in stock was a return & has no package or box but can discount $80 or can get one from warehouse. Agreed to wait & get a new sealed one. Received another SMS saying order will take a little longer wait for a further SMS. Now 2 hours later received SMS saying order cancelled & refund in process. Spent time calling to be told cancelled but no reason asked for mgr who could only assume warehouse has no stock. Total lack of communication once it leaves branch, asked who has stock told Robina but you better call as you may end up with 2 refunds in process. What a disfunctional company within care factor for customers. They want the business but don't want to do any tracking or ground work.

The staff are generally quite good

The staff are generally quite good, and usually quite nice (get idiots too occasionally like everyone else obviously) but for the love of god WHY have you decided to stop people from being able to call the individual store?!? I have to drive half an hour there then again back..2 minutes at the most would save me the hassle if you’re stock counter is off (which it always is) so no your website is no help in that case JUST LET ME TALK TO A HUMAN FOR A MINUTE

Website is buggy

This is a constructive feedback from a loyal business customer, I love everything you stock and the business plan, but your website is the worst among the major merchants. It lags and glitches constantly. You really need a proper redesign or debugging.

I honestly dread the online shopping experience. At home, I have a high-end PC so it’s more bearable, but at work it slows down my workflow a lot because the website either doesn’t load properly or throws errors during checkout.

I had this very nice man. His name was Neon. He works at the Cairns store. Amazing worker, he asked how my day was and everything. Awesome customer service especially with printing. He finished my printing perfectly no errors what so ever.

Came to Carnegie office to have a simple photo printed.

Came to Carnegie to have photo printed as photo larger than normal.
Was at service desk for 20 minutes before being served.
Girl went to print photo, came back and told me it was going to take an hour for printing?
Came back well after an hour. I was told she tried to text me...checked phone no text.
I am still waiting and it's 1.20pm. Was just passed photo over counter with apology, but to envelope to protect photo, poor, poor

Wanted to print some photos off my…

Wanted to print some photos off my phone and at 78 yrs of age I did not know how. Stood waiting for help at counter about 5 minutes. No customers around. Staff behind table had no idea I was even there. Helping me was a inconvenience for her. Smiles could be taught to all members working there, even male at cash counter I was paying for my Items. I deliberately ignored their attitudes and I kept my polite manners towards them as I was taught to as a child growing up…. Chadstone vic store needs more staff training. Maybe some lessons on how to smile and assist customers.

Poor Service…

We have visited Officeworks at Trinity Gardens twice in the last few months. The first time was looking at laptops - found the staff had little to no knowledge about the product we were looking at and didn't care!
Second time was to purchase an Ethernet to USBC Adapter. I had researched online and had a couple of different models to look at. Walked in and there were two staff members in the area chatting (not about work) I showed on the photo of what I wanted to look at and he just pointed me in the direction. No assistance and given that they didn't have that one in stock (although website indicated they did) I had to work out if one of the others would work. Gave up and called my husband to have him check.
The checkout person was on autopilot with everyone which was annoying. Overall a poor experience.

I contacted online to ask about…Delivery

I contacted online to ask about delivery times, as I needed the delivery by end of the week if ordering on a Monday. I was advised I would have the delivery by Friday, even the courier saying delivery between Wednesday-Thursday. Friday still no delivery and after 1 hour of ringing around to be told expect delivery next Monday or Tuesday. If we knew that from the beginning I wouldn’t have ordered projector screen from them. Very frustrating and impossible to deal with. Some overseas operators say someone will contact you but never happens.

Deception in plain sight

Just be aware that if you use the Officeworks intranet, the information may be manipulated by them. For example, I noticed when I entered scott-rauvers.com into their intranet that it does not go to the website, but to another website. This is not only deceptive to customers but mis-direction and theft of information.
Proof of this deception can be found by doing a search for the video titled: Officeworks Australia Manipulates User Internet Traffic. This show proof of their deception. This is an act of misleading the public in plain sight. Are these people above the law?
