Very east to use
Very east to use, prompt help when needed and lots of opportunities.
used to be good now it's terrible
used to be good now it's terrible, took away loads of stuff that made it great, now we have a complete mess and no communication??
Getting worse not better
Be cautious of users writing 5 star reviews based on long term sintiment not present day situation.
It has been another tough few days for Oddsmonkey’s migration issues which continue to worsen. New features and fixes released yesterday were quickly withdrawn after bugs surfaced. Paying customers are deliberately being used as beta testers for rushed development and inadequate release testing.
The Oddsmatcher tools are barely functional, while the 2Up Matcher, Profit Tracker, Horse Racing, and Acca tools — among others — are riddled with bugs.
Even offers posted today contain broken links - as was the case with the Bet365 Horse Racing boost link to the Multilay calculator.
Overall, stability and reliability are declining rather than improving.
I would not recommend signing up right now unless you want to pay Oddsmonkey to test their defective system.
Ignore the 1 star reviews
I'm still going to give 5 stars here, yes the migration has not been great however they are ironing out the issues and i believe they will.
I genuinely think those that have been using Oddsmonkey for a long time have all profited and the staff do care. I had a rant myself at the migration but it's because I care about this company.
It's a bit harsh the running negativity 1 stars though if it's being sorted because 5 seconds ago those people we're praising Oddsmonkey. I think please don't be so discouraged by the latest negative reviews here Oddsmonkey is worth joining it really is
Broken tools and awful management
I've been an OM member for years, sadly in that time I have seen the decline or not only matched betting profitability, but also the level of service OM provides.
Management do not care about the paying members, the straw that broke the camels back is the new "update" to the site which has been an absolute shambles. They rolled out a migration to a new site for members which was no where near ready for use, it's no exaggeration to say this has left members with at least half of the tools / features broken. Rather than admitting they have messed up and rolling back the "update", they've left it live and are trying to fix it day by day, which will take weeks / months and no doubt there will be a mountain of things that don't get fixed at all.
The whole thing has been so unbelievably amateur and poorly thought out it really brings in to question the management's ability to run a company like OM, clearly they haven't got a clue how to plan a migration.
It's a real shame and unfortunately members will leave in droves, unless OM quickly get their act together, this will be the start of their downfall, members, including me, will not be renewing their memberships. It's over.
100% Matched Betting Company
I have been with you since 2022 and in that time made a 5 figure income.
I can't think of any other side hustle that can provide that much profit in such a short space of time.
At the moment there are a lot of negative comments which is sad to see as yes you are going through challenges right now but I have been with you long enough to know that you always overcome challenges (and who doesn't these days) and always come out on top so keep up the good work guys and keep going.
I will continue to me a member with you as I am 100% confident in you and the service you provide to us Matched Bettors.
100% recommended.
The worst migration ever
The worst migration anyone could ever imagine
Site is now unusable
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
OddsMonkey just rolled out a new site advertised as "faster, simpler, and built to help you make more profit in less time", whereas it turns out to basically be a migration from their existing platform to Outplayed's platform so they don't have the cost of maintaining both systems. It has been a complete disaster! Beta testers advise they flagged up many issues weeks before and were told not to be negative. The "upgrade" went live anyway and all hell has broken loose. Many core features simply don't exist anymore and the site is pretty much unusable.
People have complained loudly and in writing, but so far Management have been completely silent and absent. The support staff are working very hard to try and restore functionality, but the list of things to re-build / re-code is enormous.
Migrated to a new site
Been with OddsMonkey for over 3 years and it was great, until they recently migrated to a new site. With reduced tools and functionality, the new site is not fit for purpose.
Will eventually be worth the subscription once everything functions again. It’s a shambles making members pay for the privilege of essentially being beta testers though
Avoid at all costs following an 'upgrade' which destroyed the value of their tools.
I am in my 8th year of using Oddsmonkey. Up until now, with only one major lapse of judgement when they tried to double the price of the subscription, their tools have 'done what they said on the tin'.
Sadly, last week, they demonstrated that they don't listen to their customer base, could not organise a 'p*** in a brewery', have total contempt for their customers, and then run & hide when they come in for criticism.
Avoid at all costs following an 'upgrade' which destroyed the value of their tools.
Cannot recommend anyone joining…
Cannot recommend anyone joining oddsmonkey in its current state
They gave less than 20 hours notice to members and migrated them to a terrible system, full of bugs, awful UI and so many features have been removed
Worst of all, none of the decision makers have even bothered to communicate with us members. Definitely do not join.
Stay away
Matched betting used to be great. Harder these days
But these clowns migrated to a new site and it's pants
Stay away
Stay Away
The days of making a very healthy profit from Matched betting are over.
Full access now with OM is just not worth the money or the amount of time you will need to put in.
After the initial sign ups you will be gubbed (banned) from a hell of a lot of online bookies then you will be encouraged to get involved in EWNL (Each way No lay) which is just gambling, plain old gambling.
They will also encourage you to move to Casino offers, if you are not disciplined you will end up addicted to slots.
My advice, don't get involved.
No longer worth the money following site move.
No longer worth the money.
It used to be a great, however they have migrated to a new site with far less functionality, the tools are no longer fit for purpose! I’d wait 6 months and see if it’s fixed before signing up.
Utter shambles of a website
Utter shambles of a website, roll out "new" website and tools which don't work properly and lack the functionality of the old tools. These "new" and supposedly improved tools are the exact same tools in use on there other website Outplayed. Don't waste your time on signing up it’s utter garbage and currently not worth the money!
Edit: They have redeemed themselves slightly by finally listening to members and making the old website available alongside the new one while they fix the problems with the new website.
Ruined the product with no warning.
They recently scrapped the website and service that loyal customers had signed up for, replacing it with an OM-skinned version of OutPlayed — an inferior product. Functions and features have been removed, prices have increased, and the new website is barely functional. I only renewed for a full year a few months ago, yet OM is refusing to issue refunds despite completely destroying what they had. No statement has been made, and no email was sent to warn users beforehand. Staff on the Facebook page seem to be taking the brunt of the backlash, despite it likely being nothing to do with them. All responses seem to translate to "Tough, you'll get used to it". I wont be renewing again in future.
They appear to have started deleting forum post and threatening to ban people on the facebook group...take from that what you will. Such a bizarre self inflicted situation by OM but unfortunately paying customers suffer.
A month later and it is still no better. I'd also take any 5* review the pops up between the 1* reviews recently with a pinch of salt as they are likely OM Staff. They have a history of astroturfing on the facebook page with fake accounts.
I've been a paying member for years now…
I've been a paying member for years now - the 'new' site has launched with significantly reduced functionality, far less than what I paid for. There are lots of bugs which need fixing but longer term there is a genuine reduction in what the site offers and a clear attempt to cut costs. I'm really disappointed as I paid for a whole year upfront and didn't expect half the things I find useful to be taken away without any real notice or explanation.
Easy money
I've been a member for around 18 months and in that time made a five figure profit. Easy to follow guides, great community, really good set of tools to help you day to day and a set of friendly helpful staff.
Absolute no brainier if you can learn, stay disciplined and understand basic maths.
