There was a lovely calm atmosphere throughout and although the clinic was very busy there was no sign of of rush. I was received by a pleasant and welcoming staff who were kind and efficient. I was quite nervous and was made to feel at ease immediately.

Cataract multifocal surgery
I had my cataract multifocal surgery on both eyes at OCL Elstree just two weeks ago. I went in feeling very nervous, but the entire experience was far better than I expected. The surgery itself was completely pain-free, which was a huge relief.
My surgeon, Masara, even called me the next day to check on my recovery and answered all my questions promptly on the same day. That level of care made such a difference.
All the staff at Elstree have been excellent—professional, reassuring, and genuinely kind throughout the process.
I would highly recommend OCL Elstree to anyone considering eye surgery.

Susan listened patiently to my issues(following Bells Paulsy) and responded in detail regarding what was, and was not possible. She explained the next steps and provided clarity. I was so anxious before the surgery but felt reassured by the professionalism and competence of all involved. Now 2 weeks post surgery, I realise I had no need to be anxious.
After 40 years of wearing contact lenses with all its trials and tribulations, 10 years of post menopause dry eyes and glasses, thanks to my cataract operation with toric extended range lens, I'm now enjoying 20/20 vision and the world seems a brighter place :) Thank you all.

Superb care at OCL
OCL manages that tricky combination of being very professional with being reassuring and pleasant. The staff are polite and helpful and both my surgeon (Mr Mark Wilkins) and my optometrist, were excellent. I am very pleased with the care I got and the results.

Cataract operation
Up til now I'm pleased how it's going,
It was a nightmare for me being able to get eye drops in, more on face, it worked out. Waiting to go back for follow up,
