Product quality and service severely lacking

Our two person sauna arrived in September 2025. Although the guidance states that two people can install it in a day, our experience was it would take at least twice as long as that. Since installation, the door of the sauna has started to sag and catches against the door frame, despite it being pre-fitted into the frame. Initially, Oceanic tried to blame the installation, rather than the design, but when I showed them a video of how each side of the frame was level as instructed, they then told us that we needed to adjust the hinges on the door. This is tricky and at least another 2 man job.
We have also had a problem with the mini-steamer. It has stopped working properly. Again Oceanic has blamed us for not following instructions, however, the instructions are totally inadequate and do not highlight the importance of diluting essential oils with the correct solution. The attitude of Oceanic has been awful, every time it has tried to pass the buck on to the customer without taking on any responsibility. I would consider its warranty offer meaningless given our experience.

We bought a sauna room from Oceanic…

We bought a sauna room from Oceanic more than 10 years ago and it has always been brilliant until we had a power cut out a few weeks ago. Mark May in their technical team was excellent and immediately diagnosed, even with a basic email explanation from me, that the problem was a faulty element. He gave clear instructions and it was actually a dead easy replacement to do. Ordered parts and they shipped the same day and it’s now fully working again. Great service and definitely vfm!

Excellent Company - Excellent Steam Room - Great Advice and Service

I bought our items from Oceanic to build our own steam room. Everything was top quality and the most reasonable prices. The steam room has been in regular use in our house for 7 years now and still no faults. I wanted to add to the set up and the company not only found my original order but were able to send me the new item the same day. So helpful and patient on the phone. Would not hesitate to recommend this company and the excellent service it gives.

Seems a decent company

Was looking for a steam room to complete our indoor pool at home and this looked really good. Ordered online and it duly arrived on a large pallet and was put to one side by my builder. I had someone build it for me and the instructions were not great to be fair. Several parts were missing but Oceanic were excellent at sending them out on 3 different occasions. However once constructed and with some extra strengthening all was well. The plumber moved in and had a similar experience with the instructions but got it running. Electrician was intermittent as required but again found instructions lacking. Finally it was complete, working, well put together and actually very smart. Using it is wonderful and we are very happy with it but beware the hidden cost.
To build it into a pre built platform with the correct drainage and tiling £650
Plumber required 2 visits at £1295 incl all matériels
Electrician was multiple visits at £550
So not as cheap as it appears but we do have a very smart little steam room that works very well. If something goes wrong with it , it should be easy to fix.
Overall it’s brilliant but be aware of the additional costs.
Oceanic were fine to deal with and the missing parts were delivered next day on all 3 occasions. Overall it’s been a good experience.

Nice toasty experience of Oceanic's infrared sauna

I was looking for an infrared sauna for my garden log cabin in Aug last year and the steam two person infrared sauna from Oceanic worked perfect for me. Delivery was right on schedule as promised. There did turn out to be a couple of items missing but communication and response from their support stuff was very prompt and resolved matters immediately. It would have been great if they offered their own installation service (be it for a price) but nevertheless a good installer will find the instructions suitable. Again, the main box turned out to have a soldering defect but once again support was super useful in immediately sending through a replacement and paying for postage return of the box. After all, this, I have had many hours of enjoyment in the sauna and been as pleased with the money spent as I could. A few months later, I reached out to support once again and they have been as helpful as ever in helping resolve queries. Would definitely recommend using this company and enjoying their sauna product.

Oceanic Infrared Sauna

We purchased an infrared Sauna from Oceanic a couple of months ago and it has exceeded our expectations. It was easy to assemble, heats up quickly and gives an authentic sauna experience.

Excellent steam product and customer service

Excellent product and customer service.
I purchased a 6 seater steam room from this company with a 6KW steamer.
It came with a comprehensive instruction booklet and there are also videos and diagrams on there website to download.
I bought the Bluetooth speaker system which sit under the seats and the sound is excellent.
The hydrotherapy lights are great and can change colour also if you want them too.
The aroma pump system works perfectly and I can change the scent when desired.
The whole process was quick and efficient and I’m so happy with the way the steam works. I had a problem with the shower valve and temperature sensor and the company replaced these immediately without fuss.
I installed a water softener which will help to lower water hardness and increase the life of the steamer.
I am now enjoying steam and music with lighting depending on my mood. Thanks Oceanic!
I would definitely recommend this company

Worst sauna company around!!

Don’t buy a sauna from this company!!! They sent all the wrong panels out. The instructions were rubbish they just send a pile of wood an screws! Still haven’t used the sauna a year after buying it. Worse company you can buy one from! Steer clear of this company.

Great sauna, great company

We are absolutely delighted with our sauna. It's a traditional spruce Finnish sauna and was delivered on a pallet to self build. It is high quality and the instructions were straightforward to follow (we used a qualified electrician to wire it up). The finished sauna is a delight, works very well and is just the thing for an English January (and the rest of the year). It's had heavy use over Christmas and is obviously excellent quality. Customer service was also extremely good, any queries were promptly and expertly dealt with. Highly recommended.

Very impressed

Just purchased a C3030 sauna,
Delivery came within promised timescale. Due to varying reviews I must admit to being a little nervous as to what would be delivered but my concerns were misplaced, I was impressed with the amount and quality of the components with all being well labelled. Build is well in progress with compartment now complete and heater and lighting now operational, just need to install the benching. There is quite a lot of work involved but I'm finding it very enjoyable. I had a query about the lighting which I phoned Oceanic about which was quickly answered.
So pleased I chose this company and would fully recommend.

Best to shop elsewhere

Best to shop elsewhere - had a particularly bad experience. Price quoted and agreed to was changed following order and placement of 30% deposit. Staff are particularly unhelpful when trying to resolve any dispute. Such a shame. Would not use them or recommend them to anyone. In my opinion - best to shop elsewhere.

Review of DIY sauna benches and customer service

I purchased a set of DIY sauna benches because the company I used previously used (SaunaInter) are based overseas and following Brexit I was afraid of prohibitive import taxes. I was swayed by Oceanic Sauna’s slick website. I asked if there was a wait for the benches, as I had not taken delivery of the sauna cabin. Yes, 3 week. The benches arrived in about 10 days so I had to store them.
Upon opening the packaging after a couple of weeks, I found:
1. Rough wood bench slats and missing fixings
2. A very basic diagram for construction giving measurements but not fixing instructions
3. Numerous bags of 20mm screws with angled brackets. The slats are 19mm thick and could not be screwed together with the supplied screws.
4. Pieces of slim timber supposed to be supports that are in fact 15mm too short.
So I complained. I have been advised that because I didn’t contact them within 7 days, they cannot resolve my issue with a cracked piece of timber on the back rest, or the fact that these SAUNA BENCHES (i.e., bare bum on wood) are very rough. I have no resolution on the incorrect lengths of timber and although I was sent further screws of the correct lengths, not enough were supplied and I still cannot put together the floor mat.
I would not recommend you use this company for sauna supplies. If this is the standard of their customer service I also cannot recommend them. I will be removing the benches at the first opportunity. They are cheap and nasty, most definitely not worth £485.00 and I seriously regret buying them.

Nonsensical 0 degree cut out

Bought a sauna and it worked fine. However..... It has a cut out at 0 degrees so in the cold weather recently it wouldn't start!
My sister in law who is Swedish nearly died laughing saying they would have trouble selling any in the Nordics
I have no issue with a high temp cut out but a 0 degree one seems ridiculous. It means you have to have a preheated cabin!
My two big issues are as follows:
- I wrote to the company and have had no reply which is just rude and unacceptable (and not to do with coronavirus as they were happy to sell me things!) Surely if there is a reason for this then at least they can say what it is
- There is nothing in the manual about this low temp cut out. It took ages to find it on the internet
Poor show Oceanic and not really sensible. Deprived me of a nice sauna in these dark days!

** Update - a further 2 emails written and no reply!

Pleased with purchase and nice people

I had a few problems but really nice people in rectifying them.
I believe the 1525 is really good value and a nice retreat these cold winter nights. I would consider buying a wider model so that I can lay back if there is a next time.

Visited showroom before buying...

Visited showroom before buying as I was worried about quality, as I was considering more expensive options initially. Placed order and took a few weeks to arrive. Had an issue with the delivery company as their truck apparently too large for our driveway, but was delivered next day in smaller van. Packaging could be a bit better but was fine. Instructions were a bit hit and miss - pretty clear when doing for a second time but could be clearer for a first timer. But with right tools its very do-able and looks good after (its basically a shed after all..). Main gripes are a) that the instructional video isn't very instructional and b) no instructions on putting up the heat sensor. It is better to put this up before doing all the finishing, unless you want the wires on display, which I didn't. But overall, a good final result for what is an economy-priced sauna. And after 1 month everything still works..
