Oboz Bridger Poor Quality

Oboz Bridger Mid B Dry were really comfortable but the heel wore through in under 9 months of sporadic use. Poor grip on wet rock and mud, no good for UK use outside dry summer days.
Oboz Bridger Ridge leaked on their first outing.
Tried on a few of the Oboz range and the sizing is really inconsistent.
I hear Oboz were decent back in the day but not anymore. Sold out and sourced out apparently,

Best walking boots I've ever had!

I've actually had my Oboz Bridger Mid Wateroroof boots for several years now. I hike throughout the winter as well as the summer two to three times a week. Much of it across wet, muddy rugged terrain. I have found them to be the most comfortable and supportive of boots I've ever owned. They also keep my feet dry and warm. Although my walks are never longer than several hours, so I cannot vouch for how well they'd hold up on a full day's hike in the rain! I'm very happy with them and am looking to purchase a lightweight summer pair.

Warning: Stay Away From Oboz Hiking Shoes and Boots!

I tried multiple hiking shoes and boots from Oboz - from the Katabatic mid waterproof (allegedly) to the Katabolic low waterproof (again, allegedly) - and none of them are at all waterproof. They are porous shoes/boots, letting in sand, gravel, dirt and water. The 3rd pair I have is now stinky from mold and I plan to throw them out. They also provide zero support and actually aggravated a distant plantar fascitis problem I had. I did receive a refund for two of the pairs I bought but not the third. I've given up. Do Not Buy Oboz hiking shoes or boots. They will seriously hurt your feet and will definitely not keep them dry.

Sole delaminated after just 2 years.

After just 2 years of light use one of the Oboz Bridger soles started to delaminate.
Rohan offered me 30% off the £150 replacement price which is the discounted price on the internet.
Normally walking boots last me 5 to 8 years. Oboz seem to deny any obligation at all.
I certainly would NOT buy anything from Oboz again.

Oboz - Sole Problem

I've had a pair of the now discontinued Oboz Katabatic Low B shoes for just over a year, they are super comfortable and lightweight. With only moderate use in on the whole benign conditions the sole is just started to delaminate. Its a two part sole and with only a one year warranty I am now stuffed with making my own repair - Oboz don't offer a sole replacement service

Horrid customer service

Horrid customer service. Boot was in stock on a Monday morning, today is Friday and hasn't shipped still. The responses (if I get any) have been curt and unhelpful and just basically say deal with it... It hasn't even shipped yet and there is NO option to cancel it on their website. I had to email them to request cancellation if it doesn't ship today. I'm not anticipating a prompt or helpful response... Never again. Looks elsewhere like Solomon.

Less than 2 years old and already split / leaking- Bridger Mid B-Dry Wide Womens - Rio Red

I purchased these boots for my wife for Christmas in 2020 - I clean and dry the boots carefully and apply wax to them regularly (Grangers G-Wax)- I get the job of doing mine and my wife's. Her Oobz's have split on the upper and leak like a sieve. I purchased Meindl Vakuum Ultra 2849 GTX Mens Waterproof Walking Boot in March 2020 and they are still perfect, actually aid a little less for mine. Very disappointed in the Oboz product, yesterday on a walk during heavy rain my feet were bone dry however my wife's were soaking. I know the warranty is only 12 months but I was hoping for more.
