Thanks for sharing your experience with OBDeleven so far. Your feeback is valuable to us, as it helps to improve our app and our services to enhance its usage for all our users. We'd love to hear more specific details on what seemed the toughest to use initially, and some examples of what caused a "logout" for you.
It is important to note that many of our PRO features rely on users already having some diagnostic field knowledge and experience, as tinkering with them blindly can lead to some serious and costly outcomes. Additionally, we limit our logged in user sessions to three at a time - you can be logged into your account on up to 3 devices at a time; you'll be logged out of the oldest instance if you connect to a new one after that.

It's such a shame to hear of your poor experience with OBDeleven so far. Delivery times typically range up to 30 days when shipping to non-EU locations, though external factors may cause unexcpected delays, for which we apologize, but are ultimately glad that you received your device.
We do our best to communicate which features our device can and cannot tinker with; when it comes to specific One-Click App solutions, such as the Start/Stop system deactivation - for most VAG cars, this feature can only be deactivated for models made prior to 2019, as future models were manufactured in a way that prevents us from working around it. As for compatibility with 2024+ VAG models, we do support them, however the manufacturers rolled out a new layer of security protocols that hinder the primary method of communication between our device and the cars' control units, which limits what our device can do. Rest assured, we're actively collaborating with VAG manufacturers towards a solution. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

While our helping hands are always here to assist troubleshoot any issues with the device or any of our services - when it comes to in-depth, technical procedures which include the use of our advanced features (such as coding, adaptations, etc.), we expect our PRO and ULTIMATE users to already have some practical diagnostic field knowledge and application skills. Apart from possibly double-checking a provided guide source or verifying whether a certain customization or functionality can be performed with OBDeleven for your vehicle - our customer support team won't be guiding you, step-by-step, through control unit coding.
We strongly recommend checking out our community forum, as many topics and requests have already been discussed there - it's likely that you may find similar questions, or even solutions.

Thanks for the great review and your feedback. We recommend re-installing the OBDeleven VAG mobile app to ensure it's updated to its latest version and that said update had been implemented smoothly. Additionally, consider wiping your Devices list in-app and trying again. We sincerely apologize for the frustrating experience you've had with OBDeleven so far. While OBDeleven can help deactivate the Start/Stop system of a great many vehicles, it does have its limits, functioning only on cars made prior to 2019, as manufacturers rolled out further changes making our workaround impossible for newer models.
When it comes to latest models - many 2024+ VAG cars are also additionally protected by security protocols (SFD2), which impedes the main method of technical communication between our device and the car's control units, hence the troublesome connection with your VW ID.7. Rest assured, we're collaborating with VAG manufacturers to hop over this hurdle as soon as possible, but the process is a complicated one, and we cannot yet predict when such a breakthrough will be completed.
We understand the importance of clear instructions and reliable assistance, and we're actively working to enhance the OBDeleven user experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and insights, we appreciate your patience and understanding as we strive to address the aforementionned concerns.
EDIT: Thanks for the update, adding more detail to your review. We mentioned the Start/Stop compatibility as it's a fairly frequent topic, and having it adressed here makes it easier for others to find a response. Nonetheless, some mk7 golfs were produced as late as 2019 and 2020, hence the reference is relevant to the topic.

While our paid plans unlock advanced features, such as manual control unit coding and more, we're continuously working to enhance the value we offer to all our users by innovating new ideas and functionalities that aren't plan-bound. Over this year alone, we've added an in-app Car Buying Assistant, as well as opening our doors to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and adding over 2,000 One-Click Apps just this summer.
