Shriya Humnabadkar has been an amazing physiotherapist. She is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly cares about her patients’ progress. She has helped me so much with my recovery, and I always feel comfortable and encouraged during our sessions. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled and compassionate physiotherapist.

Ian has treated me and my family for over seven years, helping us through everything from sporting injuries to long-term chronic issues, and we honestly couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He consistently goes above and beyond what you would ever expect from a physiotherapist. He is incredibly kind, warm, compassionate, and always professional.
Ian’s knowledge and expertise are outstanding, and he is clearly passionate about staying at the forefront of his field. He uses the very latest technologies and treatment advancements, including MBST and EMTT, both of which have made a huge positive difference for us.
The practice is exceptionally well run, and every member of staff we’ve met has been welcoming, friendly, and genuinely lovely. From start to finish, the care and experience are second to none.

Wow! What can I say! Amazing staff all round. Whilst waiting for my REMS,Debs the Receptionist was very helpful, as she had been when I had phoned for my appointment. Then as we were waiting, a Physio was giving us further details about the REMS. I already knew I had osteoporosis, however Becca was able to give me more detailed information there and then, that you don't get when you go for a DEXA. I think it must be in the staff training, but every member of staff asked if we would like a drink! Faultless, and I have booked to go back next year. An outstanding physio practice which is completely committed to your recovery. The welcome is warm, the environment is very pleasant and the team are all very friendly highly professional and knowledgeable. The selection of treatments that the clinic offers is very wide, including MBST - a treatment for osteoarthritis - which is non-invasive with no side-effects. My hips are regenerating! It’s an impressive electro-magnetic therapy already established in Germany. I tell anyone I know with injuries and especially osteoarthritis to go along for a consultation. We are fortunate to have this clinic in Nottinghamshire.

Ian Andrews is not only a brilliant physio therapist, with a genuine passion, he is a true gentlemen that will go above and beyond to help solve your physical ailments. Having suffered back pain for nearly 2 decades I had almost given up until Ian introduced me to MBST and other the modern treatments they use at Oakwood. I no longer have the chronic pain I suffered with for all those years and my family and friends have also now discovered that there is a miracle treatment to long term chronic pain. I cannot reccommend highly enough!

I have known Ian for several year and have been treated on each occasion when the issue I have had has been diagnosed, thoroughly examined, and treated to clear the pain and discomfort. This visit was no exception - I told Ian the circumstances, he then thoroughly examined me, diagnosed and fully explained the issue, treated me and gave me exercises to continue to do to assist to prevent any reoccurrence. Excellent.

I hate to write a negative review especially when there are so many good ones . However I was disappointed. I went in with a pain in my shoulder and arm pain. I was treated by the physio who gave the shock and magnetic treatment , he also just treated my neck . He never gave me his opinion what it was and never asked me back . I remained in terrible pain and had an MRI which showed a pinched nerve . Sorry but I wasn’t impressed . I did have a massage after with Liam and he was very good , I wish I would have seen him for the physio

I was told about Oakwood by a friend. Being desperate for pain relief and willing to try anything I telephoned for an appointment. Prior to Oakwood, over the years I have had paid visits to physio's, chiropractors and Chinese acupuncturists - all a failure to my spinal problems. That first visit to Oakwood, from the start was a pleasant experience. A charming and polite receptionist offered me a cup of coffee before being introduced to Sam, who was to be my personal physiotherapist. Before Oakwood, I was taking eight Cocodomol a day for pain relief. After each session I was able to cope with less. At the time of writing this review, on some days I don't even take two in a day. On that evidence, I would suggest that Oakwood has been a success for me.

So, I came to see Liam to sort out an ongoing back issue. Following a couple of consultations, Liam recommended an MRI scan so he could better understand the problem and how to treat it more effectively. Cutting a long story short, MRI scan completed, it showed up an advanced cancerous growth. Thanks to Liam, I have had the cancer treated successfully. Without Liams experience, advice and logical thinking, the outcome for me could have been very different.

To anyone reading this review, I cannot recommend Liam and the team at Oakwood Physio enough.

Hands down the best physios in Nottingham!
Ian and Harry and the rest of the team always make you feel welcome from the moment you walk through the door. Their knowledge and expertise is second to none and after going to several different physios and chiropractors over the years for a bad back I can honestly say I won’t be going anywhere other than Oakwood in the future. The equipment they to have there to treat you is like something from a sci fi movie. Thanks so much for all your help in getting me fit again!

At the beginning of the year I had severe osteoarthritis in my right knee to the extent that any exercise would result in severe pain and an inability to walk. My grandson recommended Oakwood as his friend's father had received excellent treatment for the same condition.
I attended Oakwood and had nine sessions of MBST arranged by Liam who was very professional, caring and informative. The surgery is comfortable and the staff welcoming attendance at Oakwood is a positive experience.
I have waited several months before writing this review as I wanted to assess the benefits of the treatment. I am practically pain free and walking and gardening do not affect me as they did before my treatment. I would recommend MBST and the excellent services and staff at Oakwood.

Kind, friendly staff. Liam has helped me get back to cycling and exercising after surgery in July 2022 for a fractured patella. Can thoroughly recommend, don't suffer with pain; get yourself along to Oakwood!

I had 4 sessions in August of last year regarding issues with my right knee. I have waited 7 months before putting this review on line, just to see how successful my treatment has been. Well, 'fabulous' is the response. My knee is back to normal and everything they said would happen, has. My recommendation is to go and see them if you have the need to, you won't be disappointed. I have now taken my Grandson who has a problem with an ankle and he already is feeling dividends after just two sessions. A clinic with the latest equipment with everyone working hard in a pleasing environment adds to the exceptional treatment Oakwood delivers. Many thanks.

I have had treatment here from Becca and Liam, both excellent at what they do.
During my first visit, Becca had me moving without pain in a matter of minutes.
Everything is explained fully to ensure continued progress.
Cannot recommend the practice highly enough.

At 70 years of age who would have thought one could be pain free and able to enjoy hobbies and activities once again.

Prior to my first attendance at Oakwood Physio I was suffering with sciatica and osteoarthritis in the neck and wrists.

Visits to the practice followed and with Ian`s vast knowledge of “hands on” physiotherapy and using the latest state of the art technology (which for me included MBST and shockwave treatment) has given me a new lease of life.

To conclude a mention must also go to Harry and Debbie who were also instrumental to my treatment and wellbeing.

Oakwood Physios are excellent! I moved a year ago to the south coast, having visited other physios, nothing even comes close to the treatment I get from both Ian and Harry, so I’ll happily travel 200 miles for my knee to be pain free. A totally positive experience! Highly recommend.

Excellent physiotherapy had exercised all options and was ready to retire from professional and semi professional football. Buy MBST as well as top-of-the-line diagnosis and treatment and a return into playing plan in place prolonged my career. Ian & the rest of the staff are fantastic

I had suffered with an injured shoulder for 12 months rendering me unable to train or even lift a kettle to make a drink using my right arm. Ian at Oakwood Physiotherapy was recommended to me by a fellow bodybuilder and i immediately booked in. Ian managed to diagnose my problem as calcification on my first visit after carrying out an extensive examination using ultrasound. We started a period of treatment firstly shockwave and then MBST which has resulted in me finally being able to train again and the day to day pain almost gone. Ian is a perfectionist and as it wasn't 100% healed he carried on the treatment for an extended period as he is not satisfied until you are 100% better. Every visit to Oakwood is a pleasure as the staff are lovely and professional and always greet you with a warm welcome. Ian is one of the best in the country and i'd highly recommend him and his practice.

I'm only 46, but under the guidance of an NHS orthopaedic surgeon, I've had 2 steroid injections into my right hip to relieve pain from early stage arthritic cartilage issues. I was taking increasing doses of painkillers and anti-inflammatories, more often, to get me through activities I love such as golf, skiing and cycling, and most of the rest of the time I had a deep ache in the joint. Then I heard about MBST and decided to give it a go. I felt the positive impact of the treatment almost immediately. I can honestly say it's been such a game changer. I had the treatment 3 months ago, and I haven't taken painkillers for my hip in all that time. Both hips now feel like they belong to the same body. It really is amazing.

Harry has treated me post surgery for an ACL reconstruction and a more recent meniscus repair. He was fantastic, knowledgable and has helped me return to full fitness on both occasions. I also had MBST therapy for the meniscus post surgery recovery which was integral to my recovery. Oakwood is a real friendly place and I instantly felt comfortable there. In fact, I looked forward to going every week. Thanks Harry and Ian, keep up the great work.
