The course starts out very basic and builds on it step by step. I am about half way done, and I have learned more from this course than all of the other instruction aids I have used previously. Even if you think you already know it all, it is a very good structure for expanding your skills. The course provides a strong foundation, and it is not just learning how to shoot, but more importantly it explains why things happen the way they do. I am very pleased and looking forward to completing this course and going on to others with NYIP.

I enrolled in NYIP to expand my knowledge and got everything I hoped for and more.

I enrolled in NYIP to expand my knowledge of professional photography and improve my skills as a photographer. I've gotten everything promised and more. Their in depth studies in the major fields of photography as well as the equipment and knowledge required to succeed is enhanced by interviews with established professional photographers. I found their video interviews to be great learning experiences. Being able to get thorough critiques of the photography I submitted was also invaluable to me as I develop my skills and experience. This is a course well worth the time and money.

Lessons Learned

I have learned quite a lot and still learning a lot from the New York Institute Of Photography. Thanx guys. Its money well spent!. I however would request that during some of the lessons, lets have graphic examples of steps on how to do or setup hardware or settings of a camera for example, graphics of the setting up of the Programe mode to your specifications so as to override the settings in the camera itself...

A great way to learn photography!

NYIP has a great program and way of teaching. I am one that can't just be given a big book to read and this way makes it seem like much less and is very understandable.

NYIP courses are great and they allow you to learn at your own pace. I was always a good photographer but I know much more about what I am doing and how to do it. My images have improved dramatically!

Great school

Courses are great and in depth of what you’re trying to learn. They offer great customer/student services, Incase you have any questions. The mentors give great feedback on your projects. They tell you what looks good in the photos, and what you could improve on as well. This is a great school if you are just starting out and what to go professional. Definitely recommend!

I took this course and learned a lot

I took this course and learned a lot. They reconfigured the course halfway through and the way we worked with the mentors and project submissions. It was a bit of an issue but the overall course was good.

100% Absolutely Fantastic

Although i study online, everything is just full of juice inside.
No doubt it just online study but, i definitely learn all of the technical, and industry segment. Previously all is guessing work, how to operate to get a nice photograph. But now, I can easily shoot base on what i want to create.

Cheers.

Just GREAT!

I loved the whole experience I had with the New York Institute of Photography. The Professional Photography Course contains all of what there is to know to start from scratch. The course covers the basic of the basics and the whole background of the cameras, the processes, the way of handling not only a camera but also the given lighting, people you work with and more.
I really appreciated the personal feedback of the photographers, this has helped me so much and showed me where I have to improve myself and my work. I can recommend any course of the New York Institute of Photography to everyone who wants to start, get professional or learn more about photography. You can work on your own pace which is worth soo much!
