Acacia came into our lives in June 2023 after our 91-year old mother had been in hospital following a fall. Initially, the Acacia Angels assisted her for an hour three mornings a week and Acacia provided a live in carer for two weeks in June 2024 whilst she recuperated after a total knee replacement. As Mum’s needs increased so did the Angels’ visits up to three times a day until January 2026. We were impressed with the dedicated level of care they provided Mum. The Acacia office Team were also efficient, approachable, good communicators and flexible in managing any timetabling and prescription changes. Acacia not only had Mum’s interests at heart they also had ours during some difficult periods – they were always willing to spend time listening to us and were very respectful and understanding. We are deeply grateful to the whole Acacia team for their wonderful service.

The north west Surrey branch of Acacia have been helping me look after mum for a few years now - and I feel a review is long overdue.

The whole team provide a reliable, professional and friendly service - from the wonderful ladies who come in to our home to those in the office - who are always understanding and happy to help.

The ladies who come in to help us are marvellous - and I would point out that it's usually one of about three of four ladies who come in - and not a constant stream of unfamiliar faces - which I've heard can happen with some companies. This is absolutely vital - so they really have got to know mum and I and our needs. Mum can be rather challenging at times so this is crucial - that the ladies looking after her know her ways, likes, dislikes and character. :)

I regularly use the live in respite service in order to get a break and I can say that this would not be the case if I was anything less than 100% confident and happy that mum will be safe and happy while I am away. I absolutely trust the lady that comes to stay with her and I know that she has a good understanding of mum's needs and , crucially , that mum enjoys her company. I wouldn't be able to relax if I didn't feel sure in this.

Generally the company seems to pride itself on providing a highly personal and tailored service - which is reviewed regularly - and I know I can ring at any time if something comes up or things change and I need a bit of extra help. The office staff always try their very best to sort things out for me - it's so wonderful to feel supported by them.

I would recommend this care provider to anyone without a moments hesitation.
