My order 256 which has been placed and paid for over a month ago (over £200) has still not been delivered and NuDesign ignore all emails and phone calls.. they simply do not reply... It seems like a total scam....

I read all the recent reviews, and put me off. I ordered a lamp in December last year. Didn't get any response until now, but they had it in stock and has been delivered. It's a beautiful lamp, the company has just been away over the new year period I was told. People should be more patient like I was.

It has been completely impossible to get in contact with the company following my order (and payment) that was made over one month ago and still is "awaiting fullfilment". Nudesign, I am awaiting a reply from you and delivery of my order (no 212).

I have bought a lamp in November order N167. It never arrived and I decided to cancel the order. No refund and no communication after that. The business used to sell the lamps is Australian, "Valley Lamps & Lighting". The other e-mails of this trader are [external link removed] and [external link removed]. The other business name he uses is [external link removed] also based in Manchester.

I ordered a coffee table in early January (order #198 if anyone from NuDesign would like to comment), and after weeks without it, I have tried multiple times to email and call without any reply. Awful. I am resigned to the fact that I have had my money stolen from me.

FRAUD! No delivery, no money and no communication!
We ordered a lamp early November. Two days later the company withdrew our money. When at looked for a delivery date on the website, my order status continued to be “Awaiting fulfillment”.
After writing several mails via the contact-form and ordinary email and after trying to get in contact via telephone, we finally got a email reply, telling us, that the lamp would arrive in January 2014.
Now in late January we still haven’t heard anything form the company and my order is still displayed as “awaiting fulfillment” - and last but not least – STILL NO LAMP!
I would strongly advise buyers to find another website or seller.

I spent over £600 on two artichoke lights in November 2013. In my experience no one answers the phone ever, or returns phone messages. I was given the next shipment date as end of january on 03/12/2013. My order details were never updated and remained as "order awaiting fulfilment". There was no response to my request to cancel the order on 21/12/2013 until 25/01/2013 and then the response was by email and trustpilot comment with Dale Tate explaining he had been overseas. They have since promptly refunded £485.00 GBP less -£23.97 GBP fee from ? PayPal so I have only recieved £461.03 GBP. This company keep money to cover their costs for orders placed, which they think as fair. The irony is that I wanted these lamps but lost faith in this company and therefore felt I had no choice but to ask for a refund. They have no insight that they need to improve customer service to retain customers. They are happy to blame their customers: " No dis respect to you but we have had several demanding clients doing paypal charge backs after we placed there order in good faith and keep consistently loosing money as people don't really care and think we are some large corporation that can afford such losses" . Believe me I care, and if this is a microbusiness then that should be made clear on their website. I've offered Dale one last chance for a win win resolution to get these lights, now that i know they are not a scam company..., so we shall see........
