Disappointed..

What makes this especially disappointing is that we remained patient and cooperative throughout, trusting that the issues would be addressed, yet more than a year later we are still waiting for the promised resolution.

Issues acknowledged but never resolved

UPDATE

We moved into this property in 2024 as the first occupants since it was built.

Shortly after moving in, we raised concerns about a number of defects, the most significant being the floors throughout the house, which creak and crack loudly when walked on. This is not limited to one area. The issue affects multiple parts of the house and has been present from the beginning.

We originally left a negative review about our experience. Following that review, one of the owners contacted us personally, apologised for the situation and asked us to remove the review while they investigated the issues and worked towards a solution.

We removed the review in good faith and gave the company time to address the problems.

Over the following months, the owner visited the property on several occasions and acknowledged that the level of noise coming from the floors was not normal. We were told that although a complete solution might be difficult, they would continue looking into it and work with us to improve the situation.

A carpenter was later sent to inspect the floors and carry out further checks. We were then told that a plan would be put together and shared with us.

Unfortunately, months have now passed and we are still waiting.

Communication has gradually dried up. Messages often go unanswered and when we do receive a response, it rarely leads to any meaningful action or update.

What frustrates us most is not that defects existed in the first place. Problems can happen with any property. The issue is that the problems were acknowledged, promises were made and we were repeatedly told that the matter would be addressed, yet we have seen very little progress.

We removed our original review because we genuinely believed the company intended to resolve the issues. Looking back, that was probably a mistake.

I am posting this update so that prospective buyers can understand our experience and make their own informed decision.
