Terrible experience

I paid $263 for an order of 5 items. It took a week of arguing why I wanted to return 4 of the items to find out I was only getting a store credit and that I would have to return the items to China at my expense - $110.00! The store credit amounted to $74.90. Customer service is non-existent. I have been cheated and lied to. Don't waste your money!

NOVA IS A SCAM.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Nova does not deserve a star at all. I ordered two pairs of running shoes.I then read the reviews on Trust Pilot.Shocked,I immediately cancelled my order, well within their stated 24 hour cancellation period.Ignoring my cancellation request Nova ordered the goods from their warehouse in China.I have sent 8 emails. They respond politely but with no customer satisfaction. The goods arrived a month later .The material is cheap & the product is not well made. Nova has refused to acknowledge their stated cancellation policy. They first offered 15%refund.When I refused it ,they offered a 30% refund .They said my only recourse was to ship the goods back to China at my cost ,in the original packaging(which arrived ripped & torn).Today they sent a notification of 12.3 % refund not the ,30% as promised. Altogether this has been a horrible experience .Bad choice on my part. Bad business on Nova's part.Avoid dealing with them at all costs.

Poor customer service

Ordered shoes in April 2025, never received acknowledgement, receipt or shipping info despite repeated requests. Received order 31 days later. No paperwork. Shoes were not acceptable. Was offered an exchange for an additional cost of $29+. Chose to return instead and received a return form with instructions to photograph all paperwork, shipping and tracking info and send with shoes to CHINA. I purchased from a supposedly Canadian company. Despite numerous emails...my concerns were never addressed. I'm now stuck with a product I cannot use from a company that does not stand behind the products they sell. I rarely buy online. This is why. Abysmal customer service.

Orders not received.

I’ve had a terrible experience with this company. I placed an order for two pairs of boots in December 2024 at first. They responded to the email saying that the order was on its way now it is June and still have not received the product and they do not respond to any of my emails Requesting information about my order. If you’re considering buying from nova Montreal, then twice because you may not get your order or your money back.

Trail-Pro+ Shoes Are Not as Advertised

I ordered the Trail-Pro+ shoes via their ad on Facebook, thinking that this is a company from Montreal. I ordered these shoes because the claim to have a wide toe-box. When I received them (about 3 weeks later), they have a narrow toe box that squishes my toes together and I have a narrow foot!
They claim to be orthotic shoes & insoles. Not even close! The soles are so thin that I can feel the nobbies of the sole through the insole.
Response time to my email inquiries was quite good. No complaints there.
I asked to return these shoes. They offered a 15% discount. If i return them, I have to pay for shipping. I don't think so.
Yes, total scam! I feel bad that I got sucked into this.

The products I received are garbage.

The products I received, a women’s shirt and men’s trailpro shoes were not at described in the online catalogue. The shoes were not orthopaedic in any way and unstable and generally shabbily constructed. They were shipped in a plastic bag, no box. The shirt had a printed pattern so badly done that the flowers were almost pixelated. In the neck it had a stitch to create a dart that was off centre. Considering they were discounted from a very high price and still were not cheap in both cases it was a rip off. On top of that they did not come from a company in Montreal they were direct shipped from China. When I sent a letter of complaint asking for a full refund, they offered a refund of 15% trying to discourage my return and shipping costs paid by me. Do not deal with these thieves!

Not impressed.

I initially bought from Nova because I thought it was based in Montreal. I ordered a pair of expensive pants that were supposed to be Linen - but it was cotton and polyester - ON THE LABEL EVEN! pretty shameless. The sports bra never seems to work the same as the picture and video. I also bought the grounding running shoes. So the bra and shoes were too small (it is hard to get right sizes online and esp being made in China) and no returns for anything due to "hygiene". Eventually they said they would give 30% back for shoes and pants and 20% for the bra. Got the 30% but not the 20% for the bra. Should have looked up return/refund policy first - lesson learned. But made in Montreal - NOPE. No more buying clothes on line - I find it rarely works. This company is deceptive to me - pants not linen - they literally lied and pictures of Montreal etc on the website? Please. I will NOT buy from them again.

If only you could give negative stars.

If only you could give negative stars.
Bought a pair of shoes that were not only the wrong size but each shoe was a different size. Went back and forth with them for weeks and they would not give me a refund.
Don't be fooled by the name - they are a Chinese company in the business of ripping people off.

Not good

Not good: The shoes they claimed to be orthotic and help plantar fasciitis are flat and plain garbage made in china. They sent the wrong size bonus insoles that don't fit the shoes.

Not a good Canadian company

Thought this was a legit Canadian company but the orthohike shoes I ordered were very poor quality, straight from China. They have no warehouses in Canada so returns are a nightmare and they do not recommend you return anything anyway so good luck if it doesn't fit. Also, be very wary of sizing. It is European sizing and they did not match it up with North American very well so I am stuck with poor quality shoes that do not fit and my own expense to return to China. My loss and lesson learned.

Terrible products

Terrible products. I ordered a pair of shoes that were 50% off so priced at $65, which is still good money for what was to be a good leather shoe. The shoes arrived and looked decent however the very first day I wore the shoes the heal broke. When I requested a refund I was denied as they said as per the policy refunds are only given for unused, undamaged goods and they said that when the items shipped they were not damaged.
What a terrible customer service policy! Clearly their products are poorly made DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!
