Ordered online, had to change the shoes which I could do in their Store!

I ordered a pair of shoes from Notabene in early December. When they arrived, it was immediately clear that they had been worn. The soles were dirty and the toes were visibly creased. I contacted customer support and provided photos of the wear. Their response was that the shoes were new and that by placing an order I had agreed to the possibility of receiving shoes that had been tried on. This explanation does not align with the condition of the shoes I received, the wear was far beyond what could reasonably be described as having been “tried on.”

I have now been attempting to return the damaged shoes for over two weeks, but customer service has stopped responding to my follow-up emails. If everything goes smoothly and no customer support is required, purchasing from Notabene may be a pleasant experience. However, if an issue arises, the lack of responsiveness and accountability makes the experience extremely frustrating.

Apologies that this is in English but … I’m afraid I have had a very poor experience so far. I ordered a pair of slingbacks on 21/3 - a few days later, I received notification that my order had been cancelled (not by me!). Customer services were helpful but told me I needed to re-order, which I did on 28/3 but, as of 7/4, I have still not received the shoes (I paid UK taxes on 3/4). Let’s hope they arrive soon.

Gorgeous shoes!!! It’s clear that quality is top priority. They are modern but yet with a classic touch. I’m always complimented when I wear them. There’s a broad selection for all occasions. They are also incredibly comfortable to wear and so healthy for my feet. The price is incredibly fair for the quality. They have a perfect combination of the classic trendy Scandinavian style combined with Italian craftsmanship. Would recommend to anyone.

I lived in Copenhagen for 3 months and I visited this shop and I fall in love.

1 year later my shoes were in archive sale and I just bought them!!!

I have bought the Atlas Fur boots, really love them. They are so warm and the soft leather making them so comfy.

Good site and very nice shoes although I really think they should consider offering free shipping/returns or at least lower return costs for non domestic orders.

Great quality shoes, beautiful designs and fast delivery (including free home delivery in Sweden). I only wish that returns were free of charge as well.

Shipping all the way to Canada was very quick. The shoes are well made, elegant and comfortable.

Their shoes are fabulous, look amazing and are very good value for money.
The quality is gorgeous and the shoes are true to size.

They arrrived quickly and I was kept updated of their progress by email.

I'm superhappy with my purchase from Nota Bene! My shoes arrived within a week (I think it took 4 working days in total) and were beautifully packaged with bubble wrap, a dust bag and a thank you note signed by hand. I had really high expectations as the shoes were quite expensive but they were met and exceeded! I even took them by a shoemaker to check if I needed to resole them (I didn't as they had a rubber sole) and he asked what brand they were as he thought the quality was remarkably high. Would definitely recommend!
