AVOID

Wanted to get a quote for classic car insurance, you would think that would be easy? It’s not. Nicholas Lyons absolutely useless, I’ve replied twice to his email and phoned twice for him to call me back, no reply, no response. Customer service ZERO.

Good experience over the phone

Just renewed my old landy for a 2nd year with them, Harry was helpful and polite on the phone - and a good renewal quote! Give em 5 stars just for the customer service and ease of renewal.

Avoid Heritage like the plague

Like the previous reviewer, I cancelled a policy two months after taking it out and the fees they charged me amounted to 60% of the total paid for the whole year. Heritage took cancellation fees, along with Norton Insurance Brokers (no idea where they came from!) who took 30%. They are absolute robbers. I cancelled on 17 October and am still waiting for the refund on 4 November. I don't hold out much hope. I was told that Norton had to wait for Heritage to issue the refund before they could issue it to me. Honestly, you couldn't make it up and I don't know how they are allowed to operate in this manner. I will never darken their doors again, or Norton Insurance Brokers, who I've heard bad things about but who I had no idea I was contracting with given my insurance was with Heritage.

If I could give this company no stars I would

If I could give this company no stars I would.
I have been with them for some years with no claims.
Having just sold my car less than 2 months into the policy I contacted Heritage to cancel the policy and arrange a refund. They load on various admin/cancellation fees which comes to the full annual cost. I was offered the grand sum of £4.92 as the sum total of my refund.
This is a total rip off. They are very happy (and quick) to take your money when taking out a policy, but trying to get any money back is impossible. I have basically paid a full year's premium for 2 months' cover.
I will never use Heritage again.

Failed promises

Contacted the company twice, once in the morning and once again in the afternoon promised someone would call back no one did, called again this morning all they want is to get someone to call again, don’t believe it will happen told them not to bother , will look elsewhere, terrible customer service.
