After spending three years at this university, I observed a noticeable shift in their approach over time. Initially, they appear highly cooperative—often bending rules to retain you. However, once you’re committed and burdened by student loans, the cooperation fades. At that point, you feel more like an investment than a valued student.
Unfortunately, the learning experience is largely self-driven. Beyond theoretical concepts, practical skills are rarely taught, leaving you to figure out applications on your own. While a handful of staff are supportive, many seem disengaged or unwilling to assist, often claiming they’re unavailable. Overall, the environment can feel transactional, with limited genuine support for your practical development. By the time you realize it feels like a waste of both money and time, you’re already too entangled to easily walk away.
