A nightmare from start to finish – broken promises, poor quality, and total silence

We purchased a Vilmers sofa, armchair, and footstool from Norliving in November 2024, and what followed was months of frustration, stress, and complete disappointment.

Delivery was promised in January but was postponed four times. Each time we asked for an update, we were met with silence. We had to visit the store multiple times just to get information about when our order might arrive.

When the furniture finally arrived in May, the delivery was so poorly managed that the delivery company only brought part of the sofa, leaving us confused and frustrated. Norliving had booked the delivery, we had to return to the store again to sort this out. A few days later, we received the other half. We finally got the full sofa in June, but any sense of happiness quickly vanished.

The condition of the furniture was shocking: holes in the fabric on the side and bottom, loud creaking from the sofa, collapsed cushions, and exposed screws and nails.
Instead of the quality, design-forward product Vilmers claims to offer, what we got felt more like a cheap knockoff. It was a far cry from what you'd expect.

Even after reporting these issues, sending more mails, and visiting the store, the communication was minimal and unhelpful from Norliving.
We visited the store and sent not only photos but also videos. Then, without any notice, the store suddenly shut down. Later, we discovered the company had declared bankruptcy.

We were left with damaged, uncomfortable, and unusable furniture, and zero accountability. It’s shocking that a company selling higher-end products could treat customers this way.

Where is my order???

I ordered a dining table on Nov 16. I only got an email after my purchase saying they have received my order. The email said they will notify me when my order is on its way to be delivered. It’s now Dec 10 and I haven’t heard from them. Not one email. And my order is nowhere in sight. No one is answering their phone either.

Modulsofa model Lazy (Poor Quality)

I bought a Lazy sofa, and unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations, leaving me pretty disappointed overall. The main problem was the low quality of the sofa's materials, which, in my view, doesn't justify the price I paid.

The material quality raises concerns about the sofa's durability and long-term comfort, showing signs of wear and tear sooner than expected. This is disheartening, considering the investment I made in the purchase.

I noticed that the company seems more focused on protecting its own financial interests than ensuring customer satisfaction, which is concerning. The lack of consideration for the customer's perspective raises questions about the business's commitment to customer-centric practices and overall service quality.

Unfortunately, my dissatisfaction extended to the customer service provided by the company. While they were responsive and polite, they couldn't offer a satisfactory solution regarding a refund or return. This lack of flexibility added to my disappointment.

Considering the substandard product quality and limited assistance from customer service, I strongly advise against making a purchase from this place. The overall experience left me with a negative impression, and potential buyers should be aware of these shortcomings before deciding to invest their money in products from this establishment. Based on my personal experience, I would caution others against buying from this place due to the insufficient product quality and the unsatisfactory customer service experience.

I have ordered a Sovesofa model Torino…

I have ordered a Sovesofa model Torino LUX. I was told that it was a production item, but there was no communication regarding the delivery date. After calling them a couple of times, I was told it would be delivered during week 42 of 2023. But today, week 42 is over, and there is no communication again about the delivery of the sofa. But now that I have delivered the sofa, we are happy with the product itself.

Amazing customer care

I bought a sofa 3 years ago from them and suddenly one day 3 wooden slates broke. I wrote to them in order to see if they have some spare parts and besides a fast answer they already placed an order for the broken parts. Amazing company and customer support! Companies should learn from them!

Very bad service and communication

I have received the chairs I ordered on 13.08, unfortunately one of the chair legs is faulty.
I am a very disappointed in the service you provide for the price I have paid. First, I need to write to you because despite you charging the amount from the bank card you have not send me a confirmation email of the order for more than 5 working days and second you send me the below email stating that I will receive the chairs Monday and then they are delivered Friday, this misinformation makes it difficult to plan to be at home. Furthermore, you sent a faulty product that it is even wrapped extra where it is faulty is surprising for the quality you are promising! You have not been replying to my emails, I had to call you several times and there is still no solution and it is 03.09. I was offered that I should cut off myself the faulty part and then attach it back correctly - we are talking about a steel chair!
I highly recommend everybody not to buy anything from Norliving, very pricy products and awful quality, and customer service is basically nonexciting!
