Appalling customer service in Bari after I (stupidly) left 2 little bags with jewellery (and make up in the other) in the glove compartment - followed all the guidance
; rang the local office we got the car from etc sent them everything by email and WhatsApp. Every time I rang they said they were busy and would call me back in half an hour. I rang 3 times a day for 5 days. Eventually one lady said they had checked and it wasn’t there. She didn’t confirm if they had checked the compartment. She said the car had not been rented inbetween. If they had checked when I first rang my precious belongings might have been found. We asked them to check again -they said they would and never did and the final time we rang they hung up on us. They have still not responded to my email to customer services sent over a week ago.
Endless delays. No effort to help, no understanding or sympathy. Very rude, unkind and unprofessional response.

Turin airport. Overcharged me for an upgrade. I was not asked if I wanted an upgrade but I was charged for it anyways. It was presented as a cross border fee but once I paid I discovered that 120 EUR was charged as uppsell/upgrade which I wasn't asked abotøut and did not want. The agent did not help in any way. Stay away from noleggiare! They will cheat you"

I would suggest to stay away from this company. Walked in for a 3 day rental near Turin Porta Nova. Was sold full insurance and was informed that I can drop the keys in a keybox while retun which I religiouly did 2 hours before my scheduled time. 4 days later I receive an invoice of ~ €180 stating that I returned the vehicle a day late with additional fuel charge of €19 & a refuelling fees of €29. Never have I experienced such unscrupulus practices. The customer care too doesnt care to respond so there is no tranperency or redressal.
Only positive is that the car was new and in pristine condition.

We rented a car that was already very scratched up and had dents. When we picked up the car, nobody did a walkthrough or anything with us. No documentation was reviewed at all. We were handed the keys. We took some pictures of the car and the scratches, but there were several and we didn’t catch them all. When we returned the car, I was in a hurry to catch a cruise ship and couldn’t wait for the painfully slow person behind the counter to go out and walk around the car with me. She said I could just leave the keys and go. The next day I get an email stating that scratches were found and that they are charging me $650 for the damage. The two scratches were already on the vehicle prior to us renting it and we’re so small, you barely see them in the photos they sent. The practice of taking advantage of your customers seems to be something these car rental companies do in Italy. This is the first really bad experience I have had. I will never use Noleggiare again if this is they way they do business.

Scammy car company, DO NOT USE. I booked through expedia and prepaid $248.96 for a 2 day rental, expecting to pay $85 at pick up. However, Noleggiare bullied us into paying another $263.40, stating "you pay it or else you don't get the rental." When I picked up the car you could tell it was older and full of small dents. When I returned it at Rome Airport, the customer agent refused to go over the vehicle with me. Later on sent me a message there were some dents and then proceeded to charge my card an additional $114.62. This company is full of bullies and likes to scam tourists.

First I received much cheaper car than the one I was suppose to receive. That’s quite normal, and eventually after two hours and visiting other office got a proper one. However, when returning a car desk officer spotted damage on a lock (which wasn’t used even once). I had a picture that shows deniably that mark was there when I received a car. Even desk officer agreed on this. After couple of days I received a demand for 530€ payment and sent them a picture from the pick up point as I was adviced to do. This wasn’t good enough from their side and even though I’ve been clearly shown that damage is not caused by me, they are still not backing up. Sounds like criminal activity I think.

We arrived at Trapani Airport slightly late because of a long queue in the security area. When we reached the Noleggiare desk, nobody was there. Staff from other rental companies had no idea where they were, and nobody answered either the local number or the main office number.
After around 20 minutes, a member of staff finally appeared and simply said, “You are late.” We were then told our reservation had been cancelled because they only hold cars for one hour. Very convenient, especially when their own desk was unattended and nobody answered the phone.
We were left with no real choice but to pay around €150 more than the original booking price.
The car itself was acceptable, though quite dusty. Returning it before opening hours was straightforward thanks to the key box.
I have rented cars in several countries and have never experienced anything like this. Definitely not a company I would use again.

I was a victim of a deliberate scam by this company. When returning the car, they charged me with made-up scratches, despite that the hairline scratch they charged me for was noted in the original contract. The inspector said he would make sure to find more scratches or damages if I didn't just accept and pay. It also took 1,5 hours to pick up the car.

I can’t continue because the question is in Italian. Everything‘s good thank you.

I booked a rental car with Noleggiare at Palermo Airport through DiscoverCars. The booking was in my name, and I was personally present at the desk as the main driver.
At the counter, the staff strongly pushed additional insurance, even though I already had Full Coverage through DiscoverCars. After I declined the additional insurance, their attitude became noticeably dismissive. Shortly afterwards, the issue with my credit card began. I cannot prove that the two events were connected, but this was the sequence of events I experienced.
My DiscoverCars voucher explicitly stated that American Express credit cards in the main driver’s name were accepted for the security deposit. I presented my Swisscard Cashback American Express, issued in my name. Noleggiare refused it, stating that it was considered a “revolving” product. However, no exclusion of revolving credit cards was mentioned anywhere in the voucher. The voucher specifically listed American Express Credit as accepted.
Swisscard later confirmed that my card is a genuine credit card and not a prepaid or reloadable product. Swisscard also confirmed that they could not see any authorization or pre-authorization attempt from Noleggiare at the relevant time. According to Swisscard, such an attempt would normally be visible.
The situation became even more questionable during the complaint process. DiscoverCars confirmed that, during the call with the Noleggiare desk on the pickup day, Noleggiare stated that my card had been refused because it was treated as a revolving product.
In their later written response, however, Noleggiare suddenly gave a completely different explanation. They claimed that my father had appeared at the counter instead of me and that the booking had therefore been treated as a “no-show / wrong driver” case.
That is not true. I was personally present at the counter as the main driver. My father only became involved later, after DiscoverCars arranged a replacement booking with another rental company under his name because Noleggiare had refused my card.
DiscoverCars later acknowledged in writing that Noleggiare’s subsequent “no-show / wrong driver” explanation did not fully match what Noleggiare had said during the original call on the pickup day.
The result was approximately two hours of lost holiday time, significant stress at the airport and a complete rebooking, despite the fact that I had presented the exact type of credit card that my voucher stated was accepted.
Mistakes and misunderstandings can happen. What I find unacceptable is the combination of aggressive insurance upselling, the refusal of a card explicitly listed as accepted, the absence of any visible authorization attempt, and the contradictory explanation provided afterwards instead of a transparent investigation.
Based on this experience, I would not book with Noleggiare again.

It says on the website that the rental can be customised but we had to pay full price all incl because they told us in the airport Bergamo full service was the only option. Don’t ever use them again.
I have send a complain via the web page but haven’t heard anything. Looking forward to see if they do any thing

Collecting the car took over an hour of waiting despite there only being 4 people in the queue.
The car was fine during out stay but on return, we have been informed of a 100euro cleaning bill. Picture evidence of the "stains" shows dust and one stain that pre-existed but apparently it is our duty to prove this (obviously impossible). Usual brick wall response to requests for pre-rental pictures.
Avoid at all costs to prevent hidden costs.

If it were possible, we would give zero stars.
We strongly advise against renting a car from Noleggiare.
From the moment we arrived, we were met by an extremely rude and unprofessional employee at the counter. To make matters worse, we had to wait nearly two hours before we finally received our car.
We were also told that if we wanted to collect the car 1.5 hours earlier, we would have to pay an additional €130. We found this completely unreasonable.
Instead of providing good customer service, the employee seemed determined to pressure us into paying for additional products and insurance, even though we had already booked and paid for our rental in advance.
What made the experience even worse was that we witnessed several other customers having similar experiences. We saw people being spoken to aggressively and even shouted at by staff. It was uncomfortable to watch and reinforced our impression that this is not how customers should be treated.
The entire experience was stressful and left us feeling that upselling customers was far more important than treating them with respect. It was a terrible way to start our holiday.
Our advice is simple: avoid Noleggiare and choose one of the well-established international car rental companies instead. You’ll likely receive far better customer service and a much more pleasant start to your trip.
We will never rent from Noleggiare again and cannot recommend them to anyone.

Horrible customer service! Gave us car that was in dangerous need of repair. Air tire pressure was off and blue additive ran out. We were left stranded with a car that would not move. Tow truck came to get the car but no replacement was provided. At our own expense had to take a 2.5 hr cab ride to Bari to get another car. Getting a refund for the cab fare was a nightmare. Apaulling business practices from beginning to end, dirty cars, rude staff, stay away from this company!

Whatever you do, don't go here. It is a complete fraude. We (like many others on our flight) had made a reservering through a broker (Booking.com / rentalcars) several months before our holiday. On the day of our arrival at Milano Linate our flight had a delay of 2,5 hours. We immediately cellen the Noleggiare desk (2 hours before the expected pick-up time) to tell them that we were around 3 hours late and to please keep the reserved vehicle (a stationwagon) put aside for use. According to the servicedesk employee that would not be a problemen, they would keep a vehicle available for us. At the time of arrival at the Noleggiare desk, indeed 3 hours later than plannen, the same employee told us that infortunately that in summier holiday times they could only keep the reserved car for 1 hour. They still had a car availbale, but unfortunately that was an upgrade, that would cost a 40 euro's extra per day. So for 21 days, we had to pay an additional 840 euro's (origninal cost of around 1.100). Nothing to do about it, Booking.com could only give us back the original 1.100, but all available Carson would be more expensive, exactly as the thieves of Noleggiare knew perfectly well. So in the end we just had to pay to get out of the airport. This is just an organized way to steal from people who make early reservations at interesting rates. We still have the same (segment) car, it was always there, they just added 840 euro's using the late pick up and upgrade bullshit story. At the same time exactly the same thing happened at the second desk with people who were on the same flight. Please don't go here, I went for the cheap option and I regret it. Next time I go back to Hertz, Avis or Europcar. Perhaps a bit more expensive, but not ordinary crooks.

As a group, we rented two cars through Planet Rentals, not realising they were a broker rather than the actual rental company.
The first car was collected from another rental company, and the process was swift and efficient. Unfortunately, our experience with Noleggiare at Brindisi Airport was the complete opposite.
When we arrived, there was a queue of around 30 people waiting to collect their cars. We had to stand outside in the midday heat for well over an hour and a half because the reception area could only accommodate around three customers at a time, and there were only two members of staff serving. We were told the delay was due to an internet issue, but once we eventually reached the desk, there appeared to be no problems with the computers. At no point was there any apology for the excessive wait.
Although I had booked Gold insurance through Planet Rentals, I was strongly encouraged to purchase additional cover—around €30 per day—to protect my deposit. Wanting to avoid any potential issues on my return, I reluctantly agreed to pay the extra cost.
The car itself was brand new, and apart from a very minor scuff to one alloy wheel, we had no problems throughout the rental. Anyone familiar with the roads in southern Italy will know they are often in poor condition, with numerous potholes, so I actually felt fortunate that the only damage was a light cosmetic scuff that removed some paint from the wheel. There was no structural damage or gouging to the alloy.
When returning the car, there was another significant queue, so I used the key drop box. Thankfully, my insurance covered the wheel damage, but I was surprised to read the inspection report afterwards, which classified the minor cosmetic scuff as “major damage.” Based on that assessment, I suspect they would have attempted to charge me for a complete wheel replacement had I not purchased the additional insurance. Looking at many of the other rental vehicles, it was clear that wheels with similar marks had not been replaced.
Because of the poor customer service, excessive waiting times in extreme heat, and the pressure to buy additional insurance, I would not recommend Noleggiare at Brindisi Airport. In future, I would rather book directly with one of the better-known national rental companies, as the small saving simply wasn’t worth the inconvenience or the stress

Pure scam. I had rented a car for 3 weeks via Economy Bookings with full insurance, including full waiver of the deductible. When I went to pick up the car, I was told that my Mastercard credit card was not valid. My credit card, with which I have rented many cars for years and also paid for the car booking. I was forced to take out extra insurance costing over €500, otherwise I would not be given a car. I did so under protest, as I had already paid over €800 in rental fees. Once home, I sorted everything out. I was completely within my rights. Customer service Noleggiare considers my complaint unfounded, as I took out and paid for the insurance myself. A refund procedure is now underway via the credit card company. Incidentally, the customer next to me had exactly the same experience. He had also never experienced anything like this before. It is very sad when you have to make money like this.

Company will fault you for damages that were not caused by you. Make sure you are taking lots of videos and photos to protect yourself.

Avoid these scammers. The prices seem reasonable at first but you must account for the scamming when you return the car. They go around the car with a flashlight for 15 minutes to find minute scratches that is impossible to be seen by a newly arriving tourists. They “inspectors” know exactly where the “damages” are. Before they scam you, they ask questions like “do you have insurance” and “did you take a video”, by which they make sure you are ready to be scammed. I paid 217 euro though booking.com and an additional 180 euro for their invented “scratch”.
Avoid these scamming company at all cost
