It appears that Noble Marine have taken over Newton Crum, who I have been insured with for the last 4 years. Last year’s policy for a 1978 Enterprise and an Old Town Discovery canoe, was £67. This year the renewal with Noble is £98.73. A 47% increase!
This is not for a change of location, a change in circumstances (other than swapping the Enterprise for a 1985 Laser2. Not for claims I’ve made (zero claims).
Not much reward for loyalty. Simple money grabbing greed. Especially since I’ve insured both boats for a total of £48.
I did try and add this message as a comment on Noble’s FaceBook page. Oddly, it’s disappeared.

Two of the claims staff, Caitlin and Jess have the patience of Jobe and dealt with a protracted claim with patience and good humour.
