Yet another way of getting money without caring about the customers

I have been ordering a piece of jewelry a month ago with the promise of it being delivered within 3 weeks. A couple of days before the delivery I got a standard e-mail notifying that they encountered a delay and the item could only be shipped the week after. When I asked for information and confirmation that this was the last day because it was for a gift, they just replied with another standard e-mail apologizing for the delay.
The day I was supposed to receive the item, I received another e-mail, again the standard one announcing another delay of a further week.
I found extremely rude notifying a delay (that is, in itself, really disappointing) the very same day of the delivery, because this gives the idea that they don't have any clue of when the item will be delivered, and that one week is just a standard answer. Also, having to deal with standard answers doesn't give the confidence of a real website, as avoiding questions and not giving information is the first rule of scammer websites. I hope this is not the case.
Ironically, website still reports the old delivery date.
That was a present, I thought that 2 weeks of margin over a 3 weeks delivery time was enough, apparently not for Edenly NL.
