He cheated me!
The main owner is quite arrogant and has terrible customer service skills. He made a mistake with the showing the wrong photo to represent a Japanese battery. Instead I received a different looking battery from china!! Now the website shows the correct photo. He claims that this new photo was there since I made the order. I.e. I made the mistake. With several emails he tried to convince me this. But this is not true at all! I knew what I was in search for and it was only the Japanese batteries.
He insists that the look doesn't matter, and I agree, however made in Japan cells are better in my opinion according to various YouTube comparisons.
Then started to boss me around to reduce the size of my sentences, and to be short and concise. Then he just said "I don't care!"
Very dismissive of my concern. I quote him here
"go somewhere else and stop this discussion about nothing."
I just don't understand why this company won't take me seriously!! Almost to say...you get what you are given!
You may have good deals, but who needs to be treated like that?
Disingenuous behaviour makes me not want to buy anymore. Anyway, the search for the Japanese cells continues... Thanks for less than nothing.
I ordered 7 times from this guy,a few of the cells are either faulty or way below stated capacity. I didn't mention them previously because I didn't want to create a fuss. But having the wrong photo made me purchase the wrong cells is something I have to bring up. The owner of this company is not interested in any complaints.

I bought 185 Panasonic NCR18650BD…
I bought 185 Panasonic NCR18650BD 3100mAh - 10A cells when I received them I built a 13S 7P battery pack for an ebike. I noticed after charging that it only charged up to 52 V instead of 54.6 V. I brought the bike for a test run and it dropped a volt in less than a kilometre so that concerned me and after a recharge the results were the same. I then went onto test individual cells and the were only charging up to 4 V instead of 4.2 V. I contacted NKON about the cells not charging up to 4.2 V and I had a reply from Arjan from customer service. From the outset he accused me of doing something wrong with the battery pack even though I pointed out that even individual cells were not charging up to 4.2 V as a good quality battery would. I took a photo of the date of manufacture which meant the cells were 10 years and 10 months old and well past their use by date and utterly useless and he blatantly lied to me and said since 2016 the date of manufacture was different even though on their own web site shows how to read the manufacture date which proved that he was lying. I then sent the batteries back and before I sent them back I filmed the post master wrap and tape up the batteries because I suspected Arjan might make some false claim when they arrived and when they received them I got a response from Luke at NKON telling me that they received 185 batteries and why I sent them back. I told him they were too old to use. I then got a reply from Arjan again telling me that he tested random batteries and they were at 4.1 V which is still below what they were rated for and also said Luke had made an error in counting the batteries and that there were only 135 batteries to which I replied that he is a liar and I have the video evidence to prove it. At the same time I was sending evidence of delivery and the date of manufacture to PayPal and if the liar Arjan made his claim about 135 batteries being received I would send the recording to PayPal. I got a notification yesterday that I won my case against NKON and I would warn people about that utterly deceitful person Arjan who represents NKON so be careful check the date of manufacture and maybe use PayPal so that you can make a case and have them decide the outcome rather than and utterly deceitful liar Arjan. I also noticed that I wrote a review on their own site and it did not turn up so no wonder they only post 5 star reviews. I have all the emails as evidence and I will post them as I expect the deceitful liar Arjan to respond in his normal insulting manner. I will also be making a complaint to Buisiness.gov.nl and acm.nl about my experience with this company.

Brilliant Service - great communication
Ordered rechargeable batteries and torches from this Dutch company and received my order less than a week later in Ireland.
A year later when one of the small torches would not charge properly and was still under warranty they replace it with a new one no problem.
Just sent the faulty torch back and when they checked the fault they sent a new replacement torch free of charge. Brilliant service
Not good any more
I waited 3 weeks for delivery in EU when website says 4 days on average. I waited 2.5 weeks and called and was told to call back on Friday (3 weeks) and if it had not arrived they would send again or refund. So today I called and was told to wait longer even though their website says maximum of 3 weeks. It looks like the parcel has been lost (no tracking info for 2 weeks) but I was told I could not cancel/return the item before it had arrived. How does that even make sense?
The customer service call centre has very unprofessional staff who are quite rude. Even though their website says 3 weeks maximum they were not interested in helping me. I've used Nkon a few times in the past and their delivery is always a bit slow but being told "it can takes 4-5 weeks before the package to be delivered" when the websites say 3 is a bit rubbish.
When I pointed out that their website says a maximum of 3 weeks, not 4 or 5, I was told they would get the website changed. Apart from that being against all concepts of consumer laws, it was just very unhelpful and told me how little they respect their customers. I get the feeling they have outsourced their customer service as someone who really cared about their company's reputation and had some connection with their company would not have responded this way. I actually run a customer support team and I would have been very disappointed if any of my team had behaved like this.
Thing do go wrong, I know that. But it is how you deal with problems that marks out a good company. Sadly the customer service team today actually made the situation worse. An apology or some attempt to help would have been good but this experience alone will ensure I never use Nkon again.
In response to the reply below (WHICH THEY HAVE NOW DELETED). I'll leave my response here so you can have an idea of how awful their attitude is.
"I don't know who you are"? What a great way to reply to a genuine complaint. Maybe take the time to check with your team? This attitude confirms what I was saying.
Webpage which states "Occasionally it can take up to 3 weeks for small parcels." is on "Ordering and Shipping" page. I can't post a link here but try adding "bestel" after the EU site URL.
There is more than one kind of support team. I don't run one for a company that ships items but the concepts of customer service are the same and your team sadly do not have a grasp of them.
And when you only hear one side of a conversation it’s pretty hard to tell who is being rude. The person I spoke to kept starting a sentence while I was still talking. That’s probably why he had to keep trying. It was a basic customer service fail. The lack of empathy and amount of attitude in his voice was pretty atrocious. The whole “I don’t care what it says on our website” bit was the worst.
But not once, in my call today or your replies, has anyone bothered to say “We’re sorry - this isn’t good and we’ll try and fix it.” That speaks volumes. That’s why I’ve adjusted this review down from 2 to 1 stars.
I’ve given you directions on where to find the 3-week maximum wait for delivery part on your website so you cannot deny it is there.
Re my job running a customer support team, I do hope you’re not insinuating that I lied about that. That would be plumbing even newer depths for what is turning out to be a casebook customer service fail. I work for a company that builds websites (we could help you) and last I checked we didn’t have to post them so I’ll take your word on the 30 day thing.

It's funny how you get very personal and start accusing people of lying or denigrate them in some other way whenever you get a negative review. Maybe accept that things can go wrong and sometimes people don't get the service they are promised. Don't take everything so personally.
And as I have already explained - the man I spoke to on the phone was very rude. He kept trying to talk over the top of me and not even to apologise for the delay. So who is rude?

It would be good if you could check your systems before you post. Let me help you with this:
You have two identical orders (710252146 and 710252148) for the same amount on the same day. These are duplicates and one of them was cancelled and refunded. Can you see how one order says "closed" and one says "completed"?
I have requested a refund for the order that was completed due to non-delivery . It's pretty simple.
