Take your money and don’t care about anything after that. RIP PENSIONERS OFF. The manager at the Leicester location is one of the worst people I’ve ever had to deal with, no apologies, very impolite. Do not buy from here
Very over rated and overpriced
Plus they don’t tell you about the extortionate delivery price until after

I popped into the Croydon store this…

I popped into the Croydon store this morning in Valley Park. I didn't actually know it was here until I noticed it when I was leaving Ikea. I saw some beautiful sofa options that I I feel like I loved and will definitely be back when I am ready to buy. I had to leave a review because of the outstanding customer service from Hieu (hopefully I have spelt correctly). He was so informative and helpful without making me feel pressured like other stores I have visited. Other companies could learn a thing or two from Hieu.

Where quality and design meet expectations

I can confidently say that this is a perfect place with high quality furniture. We have visited the Coventry store and bought a sofa and tv unit. We were highly satisfied with the buying process and special thanks to Paul who makes the all process gone very smoothly and easily. He was very helpful and supportive all the time. Had a 2 sofas delivered on 29th May

Had a 2 sofas delivered on 29th May, a 2 seater and a 3 seater Bermuda in Denim. Three seater was pushed on its side through 2 doorways. I had to remove one door to make it easier for the delivery crew.
When the legs were installed to the sofa with an battery drill two of the legs got scuffed with the drills chuck. The two seater , once uncovered, the left hand side of the sofa frame had been damaged and was broken on my inspection.
The crew said they would report it, Alliance, and somebody would be in touch within 1 and half hours. Guess what, after 2 hours, no call back. Rang the store that I purchased from and they said I needed to speak to customer services.
Spoke to customer services who said they would send an email so I could send some photos of the damage. Sent a return email with photos of damage and not heard from anybody at this point.
Waiting a reply from customer service to see how they are going to deal the repair or replacement of the 2 seater sofa.

Went into the Lowestoft store looking…

Went into the Lowestoft store looking fora reclining chair and was left in peace to wander around the store trying them all out and when I had made my selection Simon then explained about the various fabric and colour choices that were available on the model I had chosen and pointed out the USB charging point that I had not noticed. Very professional service. Only downside is going to be a bit of a long wait for the delivery but not the fault of the store but what is going on in the world presently.

The purchasing process seemed to go…

The purchasing process seemed to go well.
Then a couple of weeks after ordering received a call saying we couldn’t have the reclining configuration we chose. We accepted this and ordered a fixed configuration but said we would like two footstools as now there was no recliner we could put feet on footstools.

Getting near to delivery (approx 15 weeks wait) we received paperwork saying 3 footstools had been ordered.

When I looked back at paperwork the store order had 2 footstools but store tried to tell me I had ordered one online.

What had happened is that when the store cancelled our original recliner order which had one footstool, the new non recliner order had two footstools resulting in 3.

I got the blame, they wouldn’t take any responsibility even though they were the ones who said we couldn’t have the original order which is where the footstool issue arose.

I had planned on purchasing more from them but not now. Communication over this was poor, store manager passed it up the line but said his manager wouldn’t refund the 3rd footstool.

If I had read the reviews about their poor after sale service I would never had bought from them.

Buyer beware. Showroom staff 5 star, after sales zero stars which has resulted in my 2 star rating.

Footstool order this was GF0046W (although showroom say I ordered this online, I was sent an email on 24 Jan where he had generated the online order and asked me to click on the link in email to complete the order. Where this went wrong was when order GF0421F was generated by store they ordered 2 footstools making a total of 3.

Sent further details as requested by Nick S, see above, no response so review unchanged, no resolution!

Delivery through third parties, once furniture has been delivered to courier you are on your own

Seriously lacking in after sales. What you need to know, which was not fully understood when we purchased a new sofa, is that Nick Scali do not have their own delivery vehicles. The sofas get shipped directly to independent transport companies.
We purchased a new sofa from them on 08/02/26 with an expected delivery date of 17/05/26. We received a call from them on 12/05/26 to say the sofa was being delivered to them by the end of the week and we would receive a call from the delivery company to arrange a suitable delivery slot. Started to panic a little here because we needed to get rid of our old sofa and it looked like we didn't have much time before the new one would be delivered.
At the end of the week (Friday), after not hearing anything, we called and were told it had not been delivered yet and would be in by the end of the week (Sunday). Early the following week, we called again and were told the sofa was delivered on Sunday and the delivery company would be in touch shortly.
We waited until 26/05/26 and called again. This time, we were given a number to call the delivery company and chase ourselves. We called; they agreed to call back but didn’t. We called again, and they told us they did not have our sofa.
We called Nick Scali back again and were given another number to call. We called; they didn’t know anything about it, checked their records, and said the sofa came in yesterday 27/05/26 and they would text us with our delivery information. If we were not happy with the time and date in the text, then we should reject the delivery and go back on the list, meaning we would have to wait for another slot. We should expect to hear from them probably next week with a slot (though who knows when that slot will be).
Obviously in the mean time we were expecting our new sofa so we got rid of our old one!
Its really really poor that they took our money filled us with false hope and then left us to sort out delivery etc. Why don't they know when our sofa will be delivered? Why don't they chase this? And who is telling the truth? How long has the sofa been here with us sat around on the floor expecting it for the last 3 weeks. AND surely at the very least, even the most basic of couriers offer delivery options and don't say here is your slot take it or leave it!
This after service does not reflect their promises in the store to be in touch the whole was during the process and keeping us up to date with the progress of our sofa blah blah blah.
Will never buy from them again and will never recommend them

Absolutely appalled with the customer…

Absolutely appalled with the customer service we have received from Nick Scali.

We raised concerns from the beginning regarding the sofa dimensions and layout, yet were still sold the wrong sofa due to unclear diagrams and poor staff guidance. After initially being told this would be resolved and the correct sofa could be exchanged, management completely changed their stance.

What made the situation even worse was the behaviour of the manager, who attempted to guilt trip us out of making a complaint by bringing up personal information about another employee’s private life and foster children situation. This was extremely inappropriate, unprofessional and completely unrelated to the issue we raised.

Customers should not be made to feel guilty for raising legitimate concerns, especially after spending a significant amount of money. The handling of this entire situation has been disappointing from start to finish.

I purchased a sofa from the Cheltenham

I purchased a sofa from the Cheltenham
Branch and was impressed with the service up to sales by Frank who was very helpful. Unfortunately it’s downhill after that post sales service . One of the sofa was not put together properly and took a lot of time and effort on my part to get it sorted and I refused to pay for a visit . I am still waiting on the correct booklet and instructions for the sofa which is important for future . My email to the store has not been acknowledged. It is clear to be that it falls down by customer service dept who are difficult to contact . Would I buy anything else from them, probably not as I do feel after sales is just as important.

Richard’s a top Man!

Just placed an order with Richard at the Coventry Branch.
Visited the store twice before making a decision, he was very very helpful with us even when we were being very indecisive.
Knew his stuff and answered all our questions. The store is 1 of 4 furniture shops and we found NickScali to be miles ahead of the competitors. Lay out and designs of the Furniture were top notch and pricing on par with the competitors too.
Would certainly give them a go if you’ve never been!

Very happy with the service

Elliot in the Colchester store was brilliant.

Ordered my sofa from him and he took the sofa apart and made a different set up to make sure I was happy with how it looked.

I don't have the sofa yet but very happy with the service and I hope it comes in as nice as the one on store.

I very Poor Customer Service Help

I viewed a sofa bed at Nick Scali Milton Keynes, Warrick who is the manager of the store was the one who took my sale of a sofa bed. While looking at the sofa bed and speaking about the product he missold information to me which he should not have.

He was asked if the sofa is bolted together, to which he replied it was, that when it’s delivered it would come in two pieces and bolted together. I took this as honest information and purchased the sofa bed.

The sofa was delivered and came in two pieces but is not bolted at all. I called the store and spoke with Sunny, the assistant manager to Warrick, who at the time was very apologetic and wanted to help with my complaint and stated he would look into it, that Warrick was way in Singapore on holiday, that he would try and sort my issue. I was upset at the fact that Warrick told me entirely the wrong information about the sofa bed.

Sunny called me back with an update and promised to call me the following Thursday after making enquiries of what Warrick told me when purchasing the sofa bed.

No one called me on that Thursday, they got their money and couldn’t give a dam about my complaint. I called the store today and spoke with Warrick himself, only for him to deny that he misled and missold me the sofa bed. I ask for compensation but he refused point blank.

Nick Scali doesn’t care about their customers nor do they have a decent customer service. I was promised that this issue would be sorted. Sunny who calls himself an assistant manager didn’t even have the decency to call me back with an update on my complaint.

They got their money and washed their hands of any responsibility of the fact that I was misled and missold goods.

I would never recommend this store or their customer service and most of all that rude jumped manager Warrick, who could do with a few lessons in charm school. If I could mark them a ZERO I would!!!!!! 😠

Absolutely shocking experience with…

Absolutely shocking experience with Nickscali Croydon.

We were told our dining table would arrive no later than 28th April, and we are STILL waiting with no table and no proper resolution.

After weeks of delays, we tried to cancel the order after being told the warehouse had changed, then later being told they had changed couriers. Every time we contacted them, the story changed. No return of calls time after time from manager as promised.

When we asked to cancel, we were told we couldn’t and that we should “read the contract we signed.” To make matters worse, after already spending what we consider a lot of money on a dining table, we were then told we also had to pay a £150 delivery charge, which we were not told during purchase. And after reading reviews seems common practice.

We were eventually told that if we still wanted to cancel, we would lose our deposit as well.

Honestly, we are gobsmacked that a company of this size operates this way. The table was sold with sparkle, promises, and excellent sales talk, but the reality has been completely different.

Totally disappointed, extremely frustrated, and after all this time we STILL have no table 22/05/2026.

Doesnt take much to put honest hardworking customers first.

At this point, we just want a full refund.

No sweets

We had a great experience at the lowestoft store . Staff are very helpful and don't bombard you the second you walk in . Jimmy was absolutely incredible ,we had gone in to have a look and walked out purchasing a new lounge suit. The only problem we had with the whole experience is that we never got any sweets 🤣Thanks Jimmy
