Excellent and smooth experience throughout
I had a very positive experience with NHS Fleet Solutions. The whole process was straightforward and well organised from start to finish. Communication was clear, and the team were helpful and responsive whenever I had queries.

Experience could have been better
Great and easy access to the website and the ability to receive multiple quotes. The timeliness of vehicle delivery was prompt and easy but lots of things could have been better especially as I was a first time EV user.
These issues included very limited instruction on the technicalities of the car and the driver delivering this did not know more than the very basics. No guidance to say download an app for your vehicle as this will help and advice re actual charging processes. No guidance to say your electricity provider must support EV charger check this beforehand - how was I to know that not all suppliers support this!
I had issues with the installation of my charging point and despite booking a day off work the company cancelled on the day without notice and said they were unable to accommodate me for another two weeks. I contacted NHS Fleet and they said I needed to liaise with the provider but hey I have a lease with yourselves not the provider of the charger! I was then liaising with the charging company and their contracted company which was not a great experience
This was time consuming, frustrating, inconvenient and costly as I have had to charge the vehicle away from home and it has taken a significant number of calls, emails and text messages to re-arrange a new date,
If I had been advised in writing or email beforehand of processes, it would have been much easier and less stressful!

Diabolical customer service!!!
the car was delivered 2 weeks ago and had a chip on the windscreen from delivery (not noticed due to weather) i called first thing the next morning and yet here i am 3 weeks later still not further forward to getting it sorted!!! absolutely terrible customer service and none of the staff you speak to can apparently deal with your query!!

Didn’t pick up the old car
Didn’t pick up the old car. It’s still on my neighbour’s drive, even though I had arranged collection 5 weeks prior and confirmed twice by phone call and once via email.
I found out on the anticipated collection date that it wasn’t even booked!!
I’d even called to ask for booking confirmation a week before as I’d had no email and I was reassured all’s been done.
I’ve had to plead with my neighbour to keep the car until 12th April while’s anxiously waiting for whatever chaos nhs fleet will unleash on me next - extra charges for not collecting the car after the contract end date, perhaps?!!

Lengthy wait times
Ordered the car end of Sept, initially told 12 weeks then after many updates and phones calls told policy was 3-5 months. Car came in March with the car actually built in the January. Appreciate the difficulty when dealing with dealerships, however a little more transparency would have been appreciated

Honestly can’t grumble. I’ve heard mixed reviews but from start to finish I think the whole process for me was about 6 -8 weeks with a brand new car at the end of it. It was smooth, only had to contact once to chase/ raise a query and within 48 hours it was resolved.

Third time using NHS Fleet Solutions and so far so good. Staff are helpful and friendly.
Smooth process
The website is very easy to navigate and the choosing and ordering process very clear.
I had to wait for the car to be in stock just over 2 months however this meant I got a 26 plate so I was really pleased with that.
Communication for delivery was good and delivery day went smoothly.
